We had stuffed aubergine/eggplant ( stuffed with vegetables and flavoured with ras al hanout) and some raw tomato, beetroot and purple and yellow carrots. It was all good but basic.

I got to cook my Pattypans (love that word) small green pepper and a shallot saluted in butter, one very small, very ripe chipotle, then squash, baby cukes cut long wise and what few okra were available, added a good slash of chicken stock and covered to steam

in hindsight the pepper might have been too much, but it was a near thing

So I learned from the neighbor's kids on Thursday that they were upgrading their wireless network on Saturday. They like to name their network after their last name such as Johnsonnet.

So on Friday I renamed my network Johnsonnettracking.

Today the kids told me their dad was freaking out wondering what that was.

Gotta wonder a bit what he is worried about.

Mine is named "NSA Surveillance Team"

It's been out for a while, but just now getting into this game on the mobile since I've got a bigger and better phone. Not easy at all. Took me a couple of hours just to graduate to virus stage.

You can't just simply kill people off by 1-2-3 easy upgrades, you have to sort of play chess by infecting everyone on the planet in controlled executions while they work on cures and make everything go tits up with no healthy survivors remaining. Hard to do. But fun.

I got into that a couple years ago when a friend was studying bio-chem. I've never been able to obliterate the world, I think that requires "in app purchases." Its still funn and I like the ominous soundtrack as well.

I cook by feedback. The measuring cups rarely come out. Sample and sample again. Adjust. Repeat. A coworker's wife asked me for my green chili recipe at a gathering. I wrote down the ingredients for her. She was convinced I was trying to keep it a big secret because there were no quantities on the paper.

There are a few of us on the bdsm cooking board who cook like this. It's really good to be able to discuss food with people who understand the measurements 'some' or 'lots' or 'just enough'. .
