Lol. Pootie Tang https://youtu.be/g0mHVE8ebqA

If I communicate with you, I know you. Probably don't know you well, but I know who you are.

And you're right, it's time for me to go to school, I'm late already.

I love colour. :D. But I haVe to admit I prefer to see people's natural hair textures at least sometimes. I feel a bit like some people feel about other bigotries about this: that real curls etc have been suppressed because it is not the idealised form of beauty, that it is not tame and polite, and that curls do what they will. I do not own a straightener. I bought a wand for tidying between restyling from wet earlier this year, but, I try not to use it. I notice my hair dislikes it a lot. It looks fine after but grumbles when I shower and tangles, which it rarely does otherwise. When my hair IS straight it looks MUCH lighter. It always surprises me. When my hair used to be straightened for events or stuff, I felt like a liar.

Edit: however, this is not meant to disagree with your hairdresser, who I am certain is accurate in his assessment of you!

My hair is naturally wavy/straight. It doesn't take much to straighten, especially if I've had a keratin treatment. You don't need to straighten at all. It's more a touch up if anything. Straightener or blowdry, either achieve straight hair. It's all heat at the end of the day.

How often you get your hair done? And I pay $15 for a cut.

Depending on the length, every 6- 8 wks. When I have had it super short every 4 weeks.
For about 18 months, I didn't cut my hair at all until Byron convinced me to because it was taking me so long to wash it ;)
I grow it out about every 5 yrs.

How often do you get a cut?

I don't do anything else but I understand that can get really expensive. I have curly hair so that can take more time. The $35 place spends at least an hour on my hair cuts, the expensive one about 45 mins. They use different methods and it comes out differently too, both are great haircuts just different.

The best haircut I ever had was by a guy called Suga, it cost about $30 back in the 1980's. It was the first time that someone actually cut my hair so it looked good curly as it was, not blown out and re-curled. I was with a friend who was getting a haircut, he was a visiting master or something, had an unexpected cancellation and I got talked into it.

I'm with you. I don't normally do anything but comb my hair after it's washed and conditioned. I will have it blown out on occasion, but that is only if there's super low humidity. Any bit of humidity and my curls will not be tamed.

In Atlanta there are millionaires beauticians.

I used to do a trade show in Atlanta that was held during Freaknik. OMG the hair styles! I went with some girls who were getting their hair built into castles and realistic looking beehives, I was fascinated!
Most people hated being there during that time because of the traffic and everything shutting down, but I loved it.
The hair, the clothes, the cars and the students were a lot of fun.

It actually sent me a PM asking me to be her teacher. I'm not sure what it is about being a dick on this board that grabs the wiminz attention.

Ah, blow it off.
Get a tall boy, a fat one, bag of Doritos, and kick back.
The good shit is coming on tvland about now.

I'll actually be doing this myself at my spot in a few. But sub out the tall boy with a pint of amber + bourbon and some salted kettle chips for the Doritos. ;)

It's The Muppets, Fresh Off The Boat, Agents Of SHIELD and then Limitless tonight. I'll be pleasantly sauced once The Daily Show and Adult Swim comes on! :D

Hi, thank you for taking the time to read my ad. I think what I'm looking for is very simple. I want a woman that is very intelligent. This is often hard to find.

I can't stop laughing.

I get a cut like every other week. I'm in between barbers now tho. Mines got locked up. I don't like how the last guy I went to did my parts.

:rose: not criticising, just explaining my hair weirdness. :rose:

I have a hair dryer. I am sure I used it fairly recently. Maybe even in October. Or September. October! ( well, last day of September) because I used it before going to a fetish event the next day, rather than risk my hair not being fully dry by morning.

Oh I know you're not. You're all good. Carry on darling. :rose:

I'm a bit hungry. It's nearly 9.30 AM mind you and I skipped my cereal this morning. Time to find something to eat.
