I haven't had a sheet rip.

I keep considering buying some silk, but I'm not sure, becUse the cats sleep in the bed, and if cannot imagine their claws wouldn't ruin it rapidly, though they haven't ruined the silk pillowslips I bought for supposedly reducing onset of wrinkles..

We'd have to have silk sheets / pillow slips with non silk every thing else, because, um.....the dog sometimes jumps on the bed through the night.

Elle

When we had cats we kept their nails trimmed. That kept down in the damage providing we remember to clip them regularly.

You would not want the um......dog the get injured sliding off the bed.

While talking about sheets, may I also take opportunity to vent that one cannot buy sets with two flat sheets instead of wretched fitted sheet and top sheet. I do not have the knack of folding fitted sheets, I don't find they stay on the bed well, they offer no advantage to me. I like flat sheets. Bring back flat bottom sheets :(.

Elle.

This would be ideal for our 3/4 and European queen sized beds as well.

Well, I'll have neutral walls in the living room - probably some shade of grey. And the door opens into a sun porch which is beige at the moment. I like the jewel tones, and I think it'd give the place a nice pop.

go for it, its only paint. :)

make sure you get high gloss
