His retort -without the personal stuff, of course- was so funny !! (only the first 2 paragraphs I might even use something similar, in the future).
Nothing personal (re either of you, sorry, Jen) in my comment. It's just that I got this sort of misunderstanding quite a few times… *sigh*

No no don't get me wrong (you're in my good books, he's not).
But I appreciated the humour (first 2 paragraphs only). And it was funny, too, the way he got pissed off and overreacted.
