there's plenty of rubbish out there but when something's good, it's damned good - and great for us full-time workers. still hard to beat home-made apple pie though, and i can't wait to taste H's mum's creations.

Also, I have so much admiration for those triathletes up and down the lake front this morning. I'd like to try that sometime. I think the swimming might be the hardest leg. Those waves and the current can be tough.

I plan to do a tri, as well. Where I live the swimming leg is often done in a pool, though. I might just travel to get an open body of water.

It's actually the biking leg which worries me the most which seems silly, really.

I'm embarrassed that my 81 y/o mother walks about the same distance as me in the mornings.
