So weird that song came up in here yesterday. It was mentioned to me in r/l in a very specific way during an important heart to heart conversation with a friend. So bizarre how life can shine a light on certain things from various places sometimes.

Perhaps I should give it a closer listen...

Isn't it? When that happens, I feel like there must be something I need to pay a little more attention too, as well.

Good biscuits can be hard to find. Jefferson Drug in Oak Ridge has great biscuits in their little diner. If you're in the area and craving them early, before the 9 in the morning when the drug store opens, the back door to the diner is open for business at 6:30 or 7a. Local knowledge gets the biscuit and country ham, of course.

I don't know when I'll get the chance to be in the area, but that sounds delightful. Your food posts often do.

Mt gf made this Japanese spread with like 12,000 tiny bowls and plates and shit.

That's all her. On my nights to cook we eat things that are made using one pan and eaten using one plate. Because my ass hates dishes.

Also mac & cheese for some reason?? I have no idea why that was included. But it was the good kind with the shells and the cheese sauce so I'm not complaining. I think because neither me or Bitesize eat fish so she thought that was a protein substitute for some reason even though we also had miso and like... that's all protein.

I'm not here to question it, I'm just here to eat.

I have a charcoal cooker and a natural gas grill both on the leeward side of the house. The NG unit is perfect when time's a factor.
