yeah, it's rug canvas so more of a stiff mesh, mostly holes, marked off in squares of 100 holes like this. it'll probably work the way i mean to do it by printing, gridding, and copying to scaleThere is a lot of "art" printing done on canvas. Maybe it's not the right kind of canvas?
But, you should be able to source an old overhead projector, and project the image onto your rug blank on the wall. The library or a school might have one of these you use. Otherwise, they might have a digital projector (now becoming extinct due to smartboards) you can rent for a day.
