I had to go to a funeral today for a former employee/co-worker. He had been retired for longer than I realized ... 13 years. He died quite suddenly. The family wanted a full mass and it went on forever. Near the end my stomach was rumbling unbelievably loudly, so loud that it had my sister laughing hysterically.

Hey, I'm just glad I didn't fart.

Ina Garten is making roasted Italian sausages and grapes on TV, so now I'm starving.

I thought that I was going to be sitting at a desk most of the day. Had I known that I was going to be on my feet I would have worn a lower heeled shoe.
 
so many bruises! clumsy week, unusual for me. the big one on my forehead is a pale blue-grey. not used to sharing my space, i guess :rolleyes:
 
My lilacs are glorious and my rose bushes have just exploded with color and fragrance. It's a good time.
