I remember the "light as a feather" part.

The idea was for one person to lay on the floor while everyone else chanted and used only a fingertip or two to "lift" him or her. Which should be impossible, but it totally did work sometimes.

Why do I have to pay for Hulu Plus when they still run commercials? Ugh.

I am worried...

GF pancakes dipped in cinnamon syrup aren't that bad.

ragnar speaks of philistines
as if he's cornered the market...
and agnes decries the f-o-b's
as nothing less than harlots
old jed's returned to stand his ground
and so has lady l....
this ain't the 'eden' they left you kids
you've led it straight to hell...

so ask them as they toddle by
the patch of ground they covet
you weren't here, bub...
those were the days...
we fought and fucked and loved it...

fuck you.
FUCK YOU!
this is now...
you left the patch to fallow
returning now as critical
you fucking cunts...
how shallow!

we
are the blood and breath and craze
that powers all that's here
go find your dusty remnants loves....
it isn't all that dear...

Last night I watched Frontline's "Generation Like"

It made me sad.

People of my generation (generally) don't want people in their business, especially the marketing companies. Generation Like strives to have people in their business, especially the marketing companies.

I guess it doesn't really matter though.

It's February. Time to start thinking about baseball.

What would the ratings be for a Nationals/Red Sox World Series match-up?

Who cares? (other than you, of course)

The US Masters XC ski races are here this weekend and we have fresh snow for the groomers to make into the perfect trails.

Why I like people. :)
Yesterday was so hot here. My car broke down in town. No warning. It just stopped Boohoo lol. Lovely guy jump started my car and chatted with me for half an hour to make sure my car wouldn't stall. I gave him a hug and went on my merry way. Silly or not I love it when someone is kind and helpful.

The roads are shit here this morning and a young early 20-something was standing by his car that was half off the road in my neighborhood. He was chatting on his cell. I stopped and asked if he was ok and if he needed anything. He said had already called a tow truck and seemed a bit miffed that I bothered to stop and query him. He only had one tire off the road and had not started shoveling to get to the tow points on his vehicle. He was evidently, not from around here. Still, had he asked, he could have used my shovel and I'd have pulled him back onto the road.

Otherwise, the stupid was strong on the highway, today. People just don't understand that if they slow down slightly, everyone can make it to work without an issue.
