Cognac if we are going to be smoking the good stuff.

I had a taste of this Hardy's Perfection a few months ago. A friend was celebrating and he was kind enough to let me try. It is from the 1870's  and costs more than I would pay. I have to admit that it was pretty damn sublime. I expected to be underwhelmed given the price he paid. I was not.

Goodness, that made my heart pitterpatter.

I know it is a weakness- But, I love suspense. Unpredictable, is predictable ? Yeah, it is cheap suspense. Oh, well. I will take what I can get.

another cryptic bubble burst
upon the greater of the remaining la brea tar pits.
a child pointed at it
but mum was on queue
at the aisian-cajun-fusion roach coach,
pops had long been absent
and
god was quite busy yawning.

Cash it in, pops.

Poetry is obviously not your bag.

As an American, I am curious about how other countries show the Olympics on TV.

Does your country show many hours of coverage?

Does your country feature sports in which your country does not compete? Does not have medal hopefuls?

I'm in Canada and I haven't paid enough attention to be able to answer your questions but I can tell you that the commentators are just as vapid and boring as they are in the US.

Less of the cloying stories and weepy montages about athletes overcoming about obstacles, thank goodness.

he'd better.

word on the street is that
leno's tanned, rested, hungry

...and experienced in these situations.

My heart broke for Conan. If he tries it with Jimmy, I'll have no choice but to run him over with one of his own classic cars.

Just saw a pic of a Lykoi for the first time. A domestic shorthair w/ a genetic mutation. Looks like a cross between a wolf and a kitty. Kinda cool.

Definitely something canine about that muzzle. Weird.

There was a litter of feral black kitties in our neighborhood who looked a bit like that, all scraggly and wolfish. But as adults they grew sleek pretty black fur.
