I bawled my eyes out. Honestly, no movie has ever made me cry so hard before 12 years. I was a sobbing, snotty mess. I was sobbing 'nooo' to the screen, that's how into it I was.

Gosh. :D

*wipes snot*

I've heard it's addictive.

On another note: I think I have synesthesia, but with taste. Milk tastes blue, and it gets deeper, towards purple, as it turns towards sour.

Whatever you do, do not eat the yellow snow.

With the government offices closing so many times this winter because of storm-related issues will government employees have to work extra days this summer?

And will Matthew and Woody be back for another season of True Detective?

That's how bad it's become.

Vanguard now offers a grand total of 283 fucking mutual funds (don't get me wrong, Vanguard is— by far— the best of the lot). I wouldn't put dough with anybody else. Nowadays, Black Rock, Franklin, T. Rowe, Fidelity and the rest of 'em are LESS HONEST than the tobacco industry. They're all in the sausage manufacturing business.

The goddamn marketeers have run amok. They've got a fucking index for everything— and where there's an index, there will be a fund.

It's obscene and its a farce; that's why there's so much fucking crap out there. You've got garbage as absurd as:

Micronesian Mid-Cap Growth Fund

All of 'em— without exception— have abdicated any notion of fiduciary obligation. They don't give a damn. All they want to do is sell you something and they've got one of everything to sell.

The twins are eating cheese.
Though, technically, eating is when the food goes in your mouth.
Eeeeeeew!

People wept openly during the screening I saw, and when my mom saw it, the woman behind her kept having to leave the theatre to bawl.

The role she played picked up on the American female tragedy like nothing else I've ever seen onscreen.

It was very difficult to watch.

Also everyone saw this right? Oh well I'm posting it again.

I am not crazy about the word "nipples." I prefer it in French. Le mamelons. That's so much better!

aye, matey!

i'll even bring along me own sub.

Ay, que felicidad!!:heart: We can have drag races when we're not busy disrupting major world powers.

Yeah, I'm done with this one too. Let's tear her down. Scorched earth. I'm ready for V: For Vendetta.

I've decided to call them cookie biscuits.

It's clearly a biscuit, but she insists I call them cookies.

I told her we can argue about what to call them or we can eat them.

It's a maple leaf shaped cookie biscuit with DARE on it.

They smell yummy, and they have a sweet, creamy center.

Awesome with a cup of tea. :)

Damn

'Twas lovely watching her glide onstage. The skirt on that dress is somep'm special.

It was very difficult to watch, but I am so glad I did. I felt a bit annoyed when people said they avoided seeing it because it looked "too depressing," but I guess I understand that it's a movie and people have their personal tastes. I am also very happy it got its due. I liked when Nate Silver tweeted "Been catching up on movies. If Gravity beats 12 Years a Slave it will be as embarrassing as a Juan Gonzalez MVP Award."

I mean, it was completely lost on me because I'm not really a sports person, but I laughed knowingly anyway because I desperately want to be friends with Nate Silver.

Sonofabitch.

For those in the U.S.— did you realize that the time changes to Daylight Saving Time this Sunday?

Color me amazed.

I was one of those :( I was afraid it would be too overwhelming...and it WAS, but I'm glad I saw it.
