*Offers you a bountiful bouquet of blue fingerling potatoes & a hug*

One of these days...I want one of these. this just sounds so marvelous...

Thank you, guys. I am feeling a bit better. Talked it out with my sister, ate some food (PS. 1 whole totinos pizza is exactly 700 calories. Which is good when you're 710 calories short at the end of the day...) and did some studying.

Tomorrow will be another day :)

Weightago, Gracie! Congrats!

Good for you! But we need details, young lady. What magic potion did you drink, whose soul did you sell; that kind of detail.

Congrats, Gracie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats!!! :)

Thank you. My doctor put me on the ideal protein diet, which is working wonders. I'm actually losing weight in my target area - which is my stomach. Oddly enough, it's also really good for my arthritis - I am in SO much less pain. I was told I have plantar fasciitis but now my feet don't hurt, and my back hurts less and my knuckles aren't as swollen.

Now if I could only avoid breaking toes, cause I broke three of them last month.

Grace, thats great to hear *hugs* maybe wear steel cap shoes so you don't break any more toes. They are so painful and annoying.

I think my boss is heading for a nervous breakdown and/or a serious alcohol problem. Probably "and" rather than "or". I wish he'd get a grip. He used to be a good boss.

We had the most perfect (very) late lunch ever. With a cheese plate and wine. And the sun is shining.

Is he the type with whom you could have a one-on-one "talk," or is your relationship not that personal? If so, perhaps a quiet conversation about the fact that you're concerned about his welfare might be sufficient wake-up call to nudge him toward the right path. If not, then quite likely all you can do is try to give him wordless support, and hope that he gets that nudge elsewhere.

I'm doing the latter, SW - I've worked for him for 6 years, but we're both very British (stiff upper lip; don't share emotions with people you don't share bodily fluids with etc etc). I was in the Philippines last week working with one of our suppliers and our contact THERE (nearly half the way round the world!) asked me if he (my boss) was okay cos he seems to have changed a lot in the last couple of months. From my closer vantage point in England, I've seen this developing over maybe 6 months.

Not to toot my own horn, but

You toot away Gracie, that is fabulous! You must feel like a new person? Awesome, awesome news!

So many good things happening for people around here. Something to smile about every day. :)

my old kitty passed away today. I'll miss him; he was a good cat. I'm alright, though. It was his time.
