i'm so hungry

she doesn't have to be a Mother.

Perhaps we can twist that acronym as well. MITR ... for "the bishop?"

Even raunchier for the twist considering it means rut ...

Is there some sort of Secret Dom/me Decoder Ring or something? Cause betwixt you and me and a lamp post, I'm damned confused.

That's Ms. Confused, thankyouverymuch... Aaaww.. Who am I kidding? You can call me damned...

I can't believe Tiger's chip on the 16th... actually, I guess I can, but ....

DAMN! that was incredible... especially the way it hesitated for a measurable portion of a second and then rolled that last tiny fraction of an inch into the hole. I firmly believe that the roar of the crowd created enough air pressure and vibration in the putting surface to make it fall...

INNnnnn-credible.

Well, chit... cold front + massive line of severe thunderstorms including hail stones up to golf ball size coming through, thunder drowning out everything, lightning glaring off the interior walls - even through my dark burgundy drapery, temp dropping into the high 40s tonight, only up to mid 50s tomorrow, down to freakin' freezing tomorrow night... pfft! what happened to spring?

Not knowing what this thread was about, I started reading it.
You learn alot about people when they blurt things out.
Interesting, very intersting. :p

Well, you can learn a lot about the things that get people into the mood to blurt things out... annoyance, frustration, pain, grief - to mention a few. For instance, right now, the arthritis in my hands is throbbing in time with my heartbeat thanks to that damn cold front that blew through here bringing its rain, lightning and thunder - and lowered barometric pressure. That's pain, annoyance, and frustration all in one swell foop for someone who makes his living typing at 65-70 wpm and has to slow down to 50 or so because some fingers aren't as nimble as they normally are.

BTW, you need to work on your Arte Johnson impression... the quote is:
"Innnnnteresting... verrrrrrrry interesting!" :p

sorry your hands are sore. This probably won't help much but, my dad washes dishes when his hurt. Actually, he could get by with just soaking them, but he's got that work ethics thing going on. And my mum does hand massages for him. You need a finger masseuse subbie chick.

I did do the dishes yesterday evening in nice hot water - my hands came out red but only ache-y, not hurting. I also have a nice hot wax machine in which to dip my hands and cover them with 8 or 10 or so layers of wax and let the heat soak in. However, I have to agree - a nice hand masseuse would be good to have around... and if she served other purposes at times my hands didn't need massage, that would be even better. :nana:

I'm sorry your hands are so swollen and hurting. It's finally starting to warm up here, so mine are actually doing a lot better. Have you taken any motrim/ibuprofin/advil? It's an anti-inflammatory, and might help.

I do 650-1300 mg of aspirin, and anywhere from 1000-4000mg of naproxen (generic name of aleve) daily. Ibuprofen, for some odd reason, does well at relieving swelling, but nothing at all for pain for me... <sigh> It could be worse - it could get bad enough I couldn't type (with any speed to speak of) at all. Hmm... I wonder if I would qualify for SocSec disability then?

I found the same thing with ibuprophen... my doctor gives me ultram or tramadol... non narcotic and I find this does a lot for the pain... also neither aleve or ibuprophen are good for you on a long term basis. My MD (a rheumatologist) feels that the bad outweighs the good.
