I giggled the whole time, the girl thought i was crazy

Beautiful work, your artist was very talented.

When I *finally* get mine I will probably have the cheesiest, goofiest grin just because I will have waited for so long to get it.

I like it.

It's out of my hands. I have no control.

That would be the "everyday tattoo."

I am sure the person who will be doing my ultrasound today is a PYL of one description or another. First I get to drink a minimum of 1 Litre of water over a half hour period, then hold it for an hour before the appointment, then hope like hell they are not running late, after which I will have my excruciatingly "i need to go for a pee areas" poked and prodded for half an hour while they look seriously at the screen, before they allow me to go to the toilet only have have to go back in for the humiliation part of the internal exam.

Oh well could be worse i guess, it could be the sadist doctor that is going to cut bits out of my back on Friday *sigh*.

I'm glad you're getting some of what you need via alternative medicine, as it were. ;)

I would love to figure out the logic behind the "I'm not supposed to be there, so I'm going to throw my toy there then I can go get it and its okay to be there because I'm getting my toy" game. And then how to make money at it

Bonus blurt: I hate my natural finger nails... With a passion.

Gorgeous.

When I took my god-daughter recently to get a tattoo she giggled through the whole thing, too. If I didn't already know she's a masochist, I would now.

I didn't giggle the whole time, but I definitely enjoyed the process. It didn't even hurt that much (Except over one small mole). It was just a nice tingly sensation after a couple minutes. The artist kept asking how I was doing and if I needed a break but I didn't really. I did take one anyway, though. I needed to pee.

Need to take more advil, haven't recovered from walking 12mi (20km) at Disneyland a couple of days ago.

I built a box for the balcony herb garden and it's awesome! The last coat of this paint/wood stain stuff is drying as I type.

The box is kinda bulky, but it's white and at least it's definitely sturdy, and damn if I ain't proud of it. :)

I trusted you were a today and always hoped you would be a tomorrow. Much to my surprise and admittedly heavy heart, it turns out you were actually a yesterday.

A whole damn lot. More than they can dish out, methinks. :rose:

I had a partial conversation with my GM about me starting school today. We were just at the part where she asked what this meant for me and McDonald's and I was trying to find a way to say "I hope you get as fucked as you've fucked me over the past few years" with out jeopardizing my job.

Pretty much I told her I've decided I no longer look at this as a career, I'm not interested in being a GM, and while I'd like to maintain my current tital, I'm loyal to myself and my personal development first.

We'll see how things go.

I couldn't agree more. They have no idea the sort of machine her McD job has made her. She will shred her classes.

Also, I'm going to talk about her as if she isn't here. In the third person.

What a morning.

Plants moved outside to the sunny spot
Baby fed
Chili on in the crock pot for dinner
Shredded the meat off a baked chicken for enchiladas
Made the enchiladas and put them in to freeze
A load of dishes to get the dutch oven cleaned
The chicken carcass into the dutch to boil down
Another load of dishes

This afternoon will include:
Cornbread muffins to go with the chill
An apple pie
And possibly some flat breads made for over the weekend
A follow up phone call on a job interview
Working on next months budget
And editing a book for a friend

Ugh. I'm really wishing I had gotten my tattoo retouched this past winter now.I had no idea how bad it had deteriorated... Oh well. I will have to force some time into my schedule in October when I'm back home. I don't know if I trust anyone here in town to retouch it (and they won't do it for free either, of course!)

I am constantly amazed at how lazy people are. What happened to work ethic?

Our fourth attempt at hiring a labourer ended with another fizzle. These guys are young and strong and supposedly eager to make a buck, but all they do is whine, text on their phones, show up late, etc. And WTF? Why are you texting when you're supposed to be working??

We pay VERY well, are flexible and easy going, we are even quite happy to pay bonuses to those who work hard (though no one's earned that yet, believe you me). We live in a world dog fuckers. Sad.

I'll do it if you relocate me.

My strongest weakness is that I spend too much time on projects in order to achieve unnecessarily high quality.
