The IRS plans to get tough on small business next year with a 50% increase in audits.

That's a good boot licker

Unless you're mom and pop.....but it's ok to let them starve right?? They aren't essential, so say the elitist and their boot lickers like Sean Renaud.

No, that's someone with actual logic. Walmart, at least in California is an Electronics, Grocery, Clothing, automotive (usually) and hardware store rolled into one. They literally have everything you need. No Mom and Pops does all that. (Not that there are real mom and pops stores like that in most areas. Mom and Pops is just code for we only have less than ten locations and if Bobby called in sick we could send someone from any other location to cover for him. They are your local coffee shop and barber these days. But even they were an independent 7-11 sort of mom and pops they still are not providing the breadth of services Walmart is. Basically when Coronazilla shows up the moth better go home and stay safe. I'm calling Goverment Kong.

And no, not fuck them, give them payments every fucking month until we get this under control, no real means testing. Irony of ironies I might actually (up to some amount that I couldn't tell you off the top of my head you'd get MORE money because you were making more money. I know this makes me a bleeding heart but I care about that family living off say for the sake of argument 1160 a month 2000 a month (only 19 states actually have the national minimum wage) and if they splurge fuck. I don't give a damn if Trump, Musk, Gates, Jay-Z and Snoop Dogg get say 10k. (I'm not looking up what the median wage is but whatever they would need to live would be where I'd cap it) To those guys 10k isn't even a rounding error. Hell knowing what a good guy Snoop is irl a 10k check to him is probably him rolling into Denny's and having to catch a fainting waitress who saw what her tip was. (seriously I've met him, he's legit, runs a little league just up the road from me.

While I haven't seen this so called 50% increase in audits and honestly suspect you're lying the reality is that this will benefit small businesses more often than not. I've been audited twice, once as a business owner and last/this year (The overlap of two jobs triggered something in their computers to think my identity had been stolen. It hadn't but they did owe me $735 more than I got) the business one they had to speak to me about somethings on my form and it turns out you REALLY shouldn't use fucking Turbo Tax for your business. I was owed a fair bit of money. People don't know how to file taxes. This shit won't hurt anybody that is doing it right.

And I thought you loved Trump. You know Biden hasn't taken the reigns right? So anything major happening next year was signaled by the Republicans right?

Not to mention one reason why there are so few Mom and Pop shops left is that Wal-Mart has put most of them out of business!

While I do believe that was inevitable because of how our laws work that's not the point. If you want a move back towards Mom and Pops or at least something similar you need to make laws that are an updated version of what you needed to be a Senator and Representative. You have to live here or close to here for x years so they would know what locals lived like.

I give zero shits about Mom and Pops but what you are talking about happened pre-Corona. Making it mostly irrelevent but I'll entertain this. They went out of business because a bigger better thing will always kill you. That's how it works and I covered that. This was always going to happen without a STRONG LARGE GOVERNMENT with the power to shut the shit down occasionally. That however is an argument for another day.

PS: Walmart had little to do with shutting down Mom and Pops. Vons/Ralphs/Food4Less did most of the damage. Walmart is what showed up and wrecked their shit. If we are looking at the history we're just trading for bigger and bigger monsters.

That doesn't mean at all that we shouldn't bench the small monsters right now or shouldn't have spread out the power enough that "We got this" was thing instead of "Get back, I got this." was the reality?

But Republicans.

No, it's elitism....."Shut-downs for thee, captivated markets for thee." and you're supporting it.

Yes, to go crush mom and pop for Amazon, Wal Mart and their boot lickers like you.

You can't control a virus by destroying small business for the fun of it.

You thought wrong, as usual, and you assume wrong too....I'm not a partisan, IDGAF about the GOP.
