The Invisible Hair - from the list of secrets no bottom will confess to . . .

Interesting article...

I can't address it too well, because I don't spend a lot of time in full bondage of any sort due to the immense pain it would put my shoulders in. ;) But I can definitely say that in situations when it was not advisable for me to move for one reason or another, it does seem like there's something to be itched somewhere on my body.

I'm curious if other people have experienced that sensation in bondage.

I'm with you in not being able to go into full bondage, due to arthritis. But when i was a child when I had to stand in the corner I was not allowed to move AT ALL. And let me tell you, I got 'hairs' everywhere. And that was sometimes for hours at a time. So, I believe it.

That happens to me all the time and without bondage, either.

Nose is worst.

That actually -is- a hair, rosco. :D

Interesting!

Never really thought about that before....but can bet now its planted firmly in my mind next time I am unable to move...there will be loads of the creepy things itchin somewhere :D

In my experience, the hairs nose itches twitches and such tend to subside at about the 2-3 minute point, if you are tying someone who gets off on restraint and falls into a very deep, quiet, focused subspace. The person in full bondage who is restrained comfortably will often drift off to sleep, even. The kind of bondage situation, with lots of stimulation added to the bondage is a classic Western "torture bondage" construct, and there are definitely other ways to play with restraint.

That's a really good artical, Writer Dom.
Thank you for sharing. Hadn't heard of the term nor of the experiance of the "Invisible Hair" before.

Give a whole new understanding to why some restrained patients think there are bugs all over thier bodies.

i dont itch when bound, but i do if someone tells me to stay still...ya know in a serious sorta way.

It happens to me every single time I get restrained. But, it subsides within just a couple of minutes and life becomes really, really good. I'm one of those that gets off on bondage.

I had an itch, but now it is gone...

Even as a smoker....I know *growl, hiss, terrible person*....I tend to fall into the category Netzach describes. Being immobalized as such puts me in a happy place and makes me want to eek out "Daddy" or "Mommy," depending. :p

I have severe chronic urticaria, which means I have had severe hives for the past six years. They are mostly controlled with medication, but occasionally I will have an unexplained flare. When that happens, woe to the person who tries to keep me from scratching if I itch! Fortunately sex is rather distracting, so I don't itch too much. :)
