No, I got to the place where I needed to rewrite, stared at it for ten minutes trying to remember what it was that I thought was so wonderful when I did it last time, and then I got a drink and played solitaire until bed.

This has happened to me. The best thing to do is completely let go of what you wrote before, and just let it all happen from the beginning. Do it better, because now you know exactly where it's heading.
