Just curious, how many folks do you have on ignore (no names, just numbers)?

Me: 2, with about 4 or 5 on the pending list

Four people are on my permanent block list. They might be great posters in other forums, but I only care about the BDSM area of Literotica and their posts have no value here. You have to (1) be annoying, (2) be persistant and (3) have no legitimate interest in BDSM to get on my permanent block list.

There are also 0-5 BDSM regulars who might be temporarily blocked every now and then. I am not a masochist and have a low frustration threshold; sometimes I just need a break from something. Ultimately I unblock them because I value the diversity of honest opinions and refuse to shelter myself from dissenting viewpoints.

I never put anyone on block. There are times when I learn something from those that I disagree with, or those that have a relationship vastly different from my own.

While I don't care for some things that are posted, putting a person on ignore might prove to be my own loss in an area that means something to me.
