That'll be me.

BUT! I'm making some major life changes. There's things in the pipeline that I've already put into motion (and no, I don't mean number 2's). It will mean a lot of changes for me, but all of it positive.

There's a couple of things I have to do, with regard to my online activities and one of them is to stop using my face in my AV. Hey ho, there we go. So, say goodbye to Katie, she's going into anonymity now. :)

Byeeeeeeeeeeeeee face, hello bum.

(Please use this thread to talk about pay and conditions at work. )

How much are they going to pay you for you to show your bum?

Best of luck to you, beautiful. Will miss the smiling, knowing face in the av but wish you every success.

Not as much during training as I will get once I'm fully qualified. :p

But if it means better life for you then its all good, and that bum is nothing to complain about either.

Me persoanlly I have a great job. I get paid to play with computers, be on-line, make sure teh high speed bandwidth is suitable and teh only down side is now and then I have to go show some idiot with an advanced degree that the little button with a light next to is a power button, if you push it it turns teh machine on!

You were ugly anyway, made my skin crawl. *shudder*.

I'm very proud of you babe.

Bitch.

Thanks, babe. That means a whole lot.

Good luck and congratulations! New directions can be very exciting, and often surprising.

I think my sabbatical is winding down as well. I've finished interveiwing and as soon as their background check on me is complete, I expect to be getting an offer I probably won't turn down. The idea of going back to work is not especially appealing, but likely the best thing at this point.

Thank you!!

I'm looking forward to it, loads! It's a profession that I've wanted to get into for a long time. I just never got around to it when I left school (got married, then wanted kids, etc, etc). I've reached a point in my life where I feel I need to do something and actually use my brain. I've tried this "full time writer" lark and I have to be honest with myself now and say it hasn't been doing me any good. The solitude just isn't me, I've been going slowly out of my mind. I need something fulfilling; something I know will make a difference to the lives of others. I'm not saying too much yet, but I feel sorry for the schoolkids of England. :D

Good luck to you, too!

Thank you, Imp!

Gawd, you lot are brilliant and all so generous with your support. I love it!

I have nothing to say, I just felt like whispering

It suits you. Just get a bit closer to my ear, please, your whisper is a little too muted.
