Life is much better this morning, thanks!
Had a killer storm come through last night, and knock out power to over half the county. My luck just sucks, I tell ya. The guy was here working on the air, just had to check the freon level before cranking that baby up, and BOOM! No power for almost 3 hours. Thank heavens he was really nice and gave me his home phone number to call him when the power came back on. He came back out, and got it going.
It's actually a little cooler in here than I normally like, but I'm lovin' it!

I've just been speaking to my neighbours......they are off to Venice for a week. My face is green with envy.
The only drawback? They have four sons, ranging from a blonde, edible 6 year old, to a mop-haired, rangey but polite 14 year old.
I'm not sure they would be my chosen companions to a visit to such a place.
