So cute! My son came home and shared his chocolate with me. He is such a good son!

So far my day has been great. Looking forward to the rest of it.

Altogether the best present we've ever given ourselves, though. It's been good thus far except M's on call and now has to do something stupid when we should be eating our take in and gettin' it on.

And I got to see my Bull today and get my arms around him for a while, which I wanted so bad.

Work was.. well work.. but had a customer tell me that my fixing his excel spreadsheet made his valentine's day..

Malin and I went out to dinner... the meal was comp'd to us and was excellent.

Now we're home... finishing the preparations for our OSO's (other significant others) visit...

I'm loved and adored by the two greatest men on this planet.. who both told me AND showed me they loved me today.... how could I not have had the most wonderful day ever?

I sent my bf a valentine a few days ago and called and told him that I was sorry it would be late. He said that it was okay, that he was happy I sent him anything, and that he's sorry he didn't send me a valentine.

So I wasn't expecting anything today, which was fine because we didn't discuss doing anything for valentines, or exchanging cards or anything. I just made him a valentine on a whim that day.

But today I get a package with a chocolate chest with chocolate hearts inside and the note says "One belated valentines day gesture deserves another... I love you, sweetheart"

I teared up, it was so sweet. I'm smitten!

My V-day was pretty fucking amazing.

First, a bit of background info. About a year ago (a year and four days ago, to be exact) my girlfriend (codename: lo) moved in with me. I had a girlfriend that I had been seeing for about 2 years at the time (codename: C) and the three of us had talked a lot about forming a poly triad. Well, things didn't quite work out as planned, and C and I ended up breaking up. All of this is well documented on lit, for those who want to go digging.

In any case, this has been an interesting year. My relationship with lo has developed beautifully. C and I made a commitment to remaining friends... something that we haven't always been that successful with. It's been difficult for us to get over our reasons for splitting, and equally difficult to get over our desire to be together. What's more, lo and C have developed a close relationship of their own.

It is an incredibly complicated situation which changes on an almost daily basis. However, we do seem to have grown steadily closer recently, as couples and as a group.

In any case, C picked up lo earlier for.... you know what come to think of it, I should've seen this coming. I had no idea what they were going to do, which is a little out of the ordinary. Whatever, I've been a little sick, I waved them out and didn't worry about it.

I paid my grandmother a visit and came home to find that they had spent the day planning Valentine's surprises for me. I'm actually usually the one who is more into surprises and stuff and all I sent were some myspace glitter comments!

I got a beautiful card from each of them!
