It had been a rough week for Tally as she traveled to yet another city with her company to try and do sales to people who didn’t really want to buy. It wasn’t the most glamorous job, but she did it well and made enough money with each sale to keep herself gainfully employeed.

After checking in, she stowed her bag in her room before she went down to the hotel bar, ordering a beer. She looked around, noticing the only other person there was another woman. Well, at least no men would be hitting on her, she thought.

She was still wearing her work clothes, a conservative black suit with a skirt that hit just above her knee. Nude stockings showed off her naturally tan skin and her black heels gave her just enough height to look a man in the eyes. Her long blonde hair as left loose in its natural curls around her shoulders and her face was accentuated with a light dusting of make up, making her bright blue eyes pop. She shrugged out of her jacket, placing it on the seat next to her as she sat at the bar in her red silk shirt which clung to her modest chest.

Annabelle heard the sound of heels' walking on the floor of the bar. She looked and saw the beautiful blond woman who entered the bar. Once the woman was seated, Annabelle moved closer to her. "It's really dead in here tonight... Do you mind if I join you? My name's Annabelle..." She offered her hand to the woman to shake.

Tally looked over at the woman who moved closer and gave her a smile. “Not at all. I could use some company.” She took the woman’s hand and shook it.

“I’m Tally. It’s nice to meet you, Annabelle. What brings you to this neck of the woods?” She asked, figuring that she must be traveling like her.

Annabelle shook the woman's hand as she sat. "I own a clothing company. We mainly design and make uniforms for various businesses. I've been meeting with managers of some of the resort hotels in town to finalize some plans." She took a sip of her drink, "How about you? What kind of business are you in?"

“I’m a saleswoman for a large corporation. I travel a lot and tonight we just so happen to be here.” She took a sip of her drink and looked at Annabelle. “Wow, you design? That takes a lot of talent. You must be really creative.”

Annabelle smiled, "Yea... But, I can't take all the credit... I have a very talented group of designers that work with me..." She took another sip of her drink. There was something about Tally liked, "So, when you aren't on the road where do you call home?"

“Dallas.” She said with a smile. “I’m a Texas girl at heart, even so far away from home. How about yourself?” She asked as she took a sip from her own drink.

She liked Annabelle, the way that she gave credit to her group for the hard work that they did. It sounded like she was a nice woman.

Annabelle smiled when Tally said she was from Dallas. "You know... It really is a small world... I'm from Dallas too..." She was really starting to enjoy talking with Tally. Annabelle looked at her new friends fingers and didn't see any engagement or wedding ring. "Do you have someone special back home?"

‘Really? Well, I would say it is a small world!” Tally exclaimed, a wide smile on her face as she took in the other woman’s appearance. “No, no one back home for me. I’ve been divorced for three years. You?” She asked as she took another sip of her drink.

Tally reached out and touched Annabelle’s hair, feeling the silky texture between her fingers. “I have to say that you have absolutely beautiful hair. I’m envious.” She grinned at the other woman, thinking that perhaps they would become fast friends.

Annabelle was glad to hear that Tally was single, "No... I haven't found the right person yet..." She smiled when Tally complemented her hair. "Thank you... I love my hair... At one point It reached to my waist. But that was too long..." Annabelle was starting to get some feelings for the blond sitting next to her. Annabelle reached out and touch Tally's hair. "Your hair is very nice."

Tally smiled at Annabelle as she returned the compliment. “Thanks. I try to take good care of it but sometimes it gets hard when I travel.”

She glanced down at the bar and noticed her drink was empty. “How about another round? My treat.” She motioned the bartender over and placed another order, turning back to her new friend.

Annabelle smiled at Tally's offer for an another drink, "Sound good..." Annabelle ordered another Whiskey and Coke. When it arrived Annabelle looked at Tally and raised her glass, "To new friendships..."

“To new friendships.” Tally said, clinking her glass against Annabelle’s. “Have you had dinner yet? I heard that the hotel had an amazing restaurant. Maybe we could take our drinks and go grab a bite to eat?”

Annabelle took a sip of her drink, "Sure... Why not..." They picked up their drinks and headed to the restaurant. They got a table and Annabelle started to look over to the menu, "I don't know about you but I want a steak..."

“A steak? Not a salad kind of gal?” She asked with a grin, looking down at the menu and noticing the surf and turf had a decent price. “I think I could do with some seafood.”

She placed the menu back down on the table and smiled across at Annabelle. “I really like your outfit. Did you design it yourself?”

They placed their orders and waited for their food. When Tally complemented her on her outfit Annabelle smiled, "Yes... I love to dress up at work... But, when I'm home I'm in sweats and a Tony Romo jersey most of the time."

“Oh, I know. I’m usually walking around in my favorite pajamas. Sometimes I can’t stand these clothes.’ She said, motioning to her own ensemble. “The shoes kill my feet, the blouse is always a little too tight.”

Annabelle smiled when Tally talked about her outfit. "I don't mind the shoes... But it sounds like you aren't getting a proper fit for your blouses. Maybe you should go up a size."

“Oh, I know I should, but this blouse is one of my favorites.’ She smiled at Annabelle as she looked down at her red silk blouse. It was a little tight around her chest, but she always thought that it made her look sexy when she was wearing it. Beneath her suit coat, no one ever knew that she wore such pretty things.

Annabelle smiled, "It looks wonderful on you..." Annabelle wanted to kiss her but she had to control herself. She didn't want to ruin this budding friendship. Soon, dinner was gone and the two women continued to talk. Annabelle looked at her watch and said "Wow, look at the time... What do you say to heading up to my room and we get more comfortable.?"

Tally’s eyes opened wide as she heard Annabelle’s suggestion. “More…comfortable?” She asked, a flush of heat spreading through her at the comment.

Annabelle took Tally's hand, "I'm not going to lie to you Tally... I think you are a great woman. I thing we could be great friends... maybe friends with Benefits?" Annabelle gently squeezed her hand.

Tally’s mouth suddenly went dry when Annabelle took her hand and squeezed it. “I’ve…I’ve never been with a woman before.” She admitted in a whispered voice. She was suddenly nervous, but a bit excited at the prospect.

Annabelle smiled, "Don't worry, my love... I'll be gentle with you..." Annabelle rubbed her hand, "So what do you say... If you say no, I'll completely understand and I'll never bring it up again."
