My team, the Longhorns lost yesterday to Texas Tech.

It looked like that might be able to overcome their earlier loss and still make it to the national championship.

That won't happen anymore.

It was a sad day in Austin yesterday. Not fun walking around.

Notre Dame fans will send you a card from the Orange Bowl.

Besides, the Fiesta Bowl was a pipe dream for you guys anyway: three of the four top teams would have had to have lost.

actually texas was #3 in the BCS and thats the only thing that counts.

No, they weren't. They were fifth, behind Ohio State, Miami, Washington State, and Oklahoma: BCS Rankings, Nov. 11, 2002.

Hence, in order be ranked at least #2, three of those teams would have had to have lost.
