For those of you with retail employment experience you know this time of year is a motherfucker.

Here is a little something I came up with to, perhaps, sum up my feelings about this season.

"The holiday season is an opportunity for the American consumer to morph into a even bigger asshole than they have been the previous eleven months."

Discuss.

Entirely possible.
It will happen before your eyes.
This season does not bring out the best in anyone. And stressed as they are to one-up the other gift-givers at work as well meeting the demands of over-stimulated children, good will is in short supply.

The other day, I went to Wal-Mart. Hubby n Kids in tow.

Well, there were no carts near our car, so when we saw one up a bit farther in the lot, I had hubby grab it, cause our 2 year old wouldn't let anyone but me carry his lard butt. Sorry, but 9 months preggy, GOOD GOD! Anyway, a lady was pulling into the spot right there as hubby grabbed the cart. She started honking. Then, when she got out, she started cussing. Then, when he didn't hear her, (i was looking at her, which is why I likely knew what was going on, and he didn't), she went to get out her 'baby'. A 5 year old. She starts loudly talking about how rude people are to single women with babies. A 5 year old. At least. The kid was bigger then my 5 year old, and perfectly capable of walking on her own. However, throw a fit when a pregnant woman needs a cart to put an unruly 2 year old in it, and to lean on cause her back hurts.

She kept glaring at us, and i felt like taking the cart over to her, and telling her if it was that big of a deal, then to take it, cause I could easily walk into the store on my own, if need be. Incidently, the mother who absoultly needed a cart, passed by at least 10 on her travels into the store with 'baby'.

'Tis the season...

Yes, 'tis the season to be jolly!

Maybe that's why I postpone Xmas shopping until AFTER the new year?:D
