Interraccial with a twist?
In the town square is a huge old oak tree known as the Hanging Tree because in 1869, an interracial couple was hung there.
Since 1969, the local civil rights group has commemorated this past by having an interracial couple make love under the stars at the hour and day of that lynching.
Except this year, there are no interracial couples in the group.
