Lyndie moved a peice. Looking at Seth he still had that worried look.

"You know, you can trust me if you need to talk." She didn't want to sit there in silence. It made her think and she wasn't sure if he would like her thoughts.

"I know" Seth smiled. "If something was worrying me I'd tell you." Maybe that was a lie. He was worrying about his feelings for Lyndie. He wanted to tell her but....

As the game went on he forgot about his worrying and he had fun. He was pretty sure she had fun. He was toying a little with her, he probably could have set up to win a while ago, but he was having way too much fun.

He finally saw the chance and went for it....

"CheckMate. Heh heh, looks like ou lost again. YOu were close Lyndie, but you just couldn't beat the best." HE smiled playfully.

Lyndie thought should could have beaten him if he wouldn't have made one move, but since he did she had lost.

"So, you want to know what I desire most huh?" She was scared of telling him but a wager was a wager. "You are probably going to think this is really silly. I don't even know why I feel this way, but my true desire is to be needed."

Seth was shock and didn't know what to say. Even though that was the answer he was looking for. That IS what she said earlier. NOw he wasn't too sure what to say. She looked really embarrased now.

Lyndie looked up at Seth as he said "What about Josef."

She didn't want to but years of pain flooded out as tears flooded her eyes.

"Josef doens't need me. He has that Bella now. She will give him what I can't. I can't give him children so I am of no use to him, and the children will not be mine. They will be hers, so they won't need me. They may not even want me. I want to be wanted. Needed even. I want someone to hold me and tell me that they love me and want to be with me and need me in their life but they don't. They don't need me. I am useless."

Seth was taken aback. He didn't know what to say. He didn't ever see anything wrong with Lyndie's life he thought she was happy. What was she talking about? Useless? NOt needed?
MAybe the feelings Seth had for her ....were they need?
She looked up at Seth, and he didn't know what came over him as he felt like he was floating, like someone else was controling his body...... as he stared into her beautiful eyes....

Seth leaned over and kissed her. "Had he said he loved me?" she thought. Then the thought hit her "like a mother."

She pulled away from his kiss, actually having to tear herself away. She liked it so much, but was unsure if it was her own need or she loved him too.

"You......love.....me?...." she cried. Her heart said to lean over to him and press her lips to his again, but her head said that it was a love that was not like she was needing. "As a mother....I know...."

Again she looked down.

What had he done, Seth thought.

Pulling back himself, stumbling not knowing what to do. HAd he done the wrong thing?

Surprised, by Lyndie falling into his arms, Seth was speechless. Lyndie's warm, curvacious body in his arms felt wonderful, he didn't want it to end. But he still wasn't sure how she was taking this. Were things different now? Or would they still be the same.

I let my hands continue up her body once more, before I hesitantly pulled away.
"I... look forward to our next meeting..." I said, giving her a small smile. I had always known that I could not take her yet; my only intention was to let her know of my desires. I turned and strode towards the exit from the room, pausing at the door and turning back.

HE'd had these feelings for Lyndie for a long time, but was only able to figure their meaning now. There was no doubt about it, he needed her. She was not like any woman he had beeen with before. He longed for her right now, more than anything. But Seth didn't know what to do at that moment, fearing to mess it up. So he just stared into her gorgeous eyes, looking as reasuring as he could be. Seth nodded to Lyndie.
