From his Mitt Romney's speech last night: "tolerance for pornography-even celebration of it-and sexual promiscuity, combined with the twisted incentives of government welfare programs have led to today’s grim realities: 68% of African American children are born out-of-wedlock, 45% of Hispanic children, and 25% of White children."

The good news is that my porn seems to have a less-bad effect on whites than on blacks or hispanics.

I presume he means Christians of his own particular type only. The expanded Europe has more people that believe in a creator than it used to have. Of course for some of them the creator is called "Allah" and they have strong faith in him.

Do I take it that statement to read that he means he doesn't support the death penalty, nor defending your life and property with deadly force, nor killing the Taleban fighters?

Can he stop the US Air Force from killing our British troops while providing "air support"?

Is he against the NRA?

"Eroded morality?"

Is he against Extraordinary Rendition, Gitmo, and holding and torturing suspects without trial?

Those three things make the US's allies wonder if the US administration has any morality whatever. (Or whether our governments have any morality for supporting the US's actions unreservedly.)

I am relieved that I don't have to choose a candidate for the US presidency. I would prefer "None of the above".

I'm sure Mitt would be the first to avow that the British are different from the rest of those morally eroded EU members (France is particularly in trouble because it once ruled the world and now it doesn't, and Mitt doesn't want the same for the U.S. Which makes one wonder...Bush as Napoleon?). Either that or he'd say something like "Some of my best friends are European!"

If the man ever does get close to a ranking position in the White House, it will be interesting to see how well he does in dealing with foreign affairs. I wonder if this little speech dissing Europe will come back to haunt him....

On a map of the world there are very few countries in which we haven't fought. Switzerland is one.

What we can be proud of is that the Commonwealth exists and countries want to belong to it. It may be flawed, not as flawed as the UN, but it is still a grouping that enables discussion instead of conflict. The Commonwealth Games is a much better sporting event than the Olympic Games because politics are much less apparent. Australia still outperforms us in both Games.

This is interesting. I have never sired any children, but I might have induced other men to sire them. I don't know if this is something to be proud of or not.

Just think: The baby who grows up to be the saviour of civilization as we know it might have been conceived as the result of his or her parents reading some of my smut.
