Long awaited companion to the IC thread for The Grace of Juno. Lady M suggested that I set it up.
Just a note first. Honey B has had other commitments that require her to leave us. We miss her, but understand why she had to leave. I don't know about the others, but I'm guessing that they feel, as do I, that it has been a pleasure to RP with her. That and I am open to later SRPs with her as well.
Willing to throw the Aurelia, Valeria, and Gallus roles open, but only through a careful screening process, vis a vis, historical knowledge, writing skills, etc. Have to have more interests here than just sex. This is a developing story with a plot based in history, so we need people willing to be realistic in their approach to it.
A note regarding Tiberius. Some of you observing this thread might note that Tiberius is a bit harsh at times, but is now becoming a little gentler. It's a quite believable response, I think, to an NDE (near death experience). That and he truly loves his wife and family, but doesn't always know how to best show that fact. He's come back from the brink of crossing the Styx, so, of course, he will be a different man and a bit braver about opening up some of his emotions, especially when prompted by Julia's tears. That's my take on it, anyway. Like a lot of hard men, he is still quite touched by the pain of those that he loves, and this recent grief has left his emotions rather raw. He's still a proud Roman nobleman, full of ideas of honor and dignitas, but he now sees the value of being a little kinder and more openly loving to his family. Quite realistic, in my view.
