The government shuts down. Another spectacular MAGA failure.

  • FACT: Democrats’ proposal would once again allow those improperly granted asylum and parole under Biden’s open borders scheme to receive Medicaid.
You can't use the word "fact" and "open borders scheme" in the same sentence and expect to be taken seriously.

You're a joke.

And trump still thinks "asylum" has to do with mental institutions.

Whlle the numbers were high, migrants we're not improperly granted asylum or parole by Biden....as much as you continue to claim it.
The U.S. immigration parole statute is Section 212(d)(5)(A) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA), which grants the Secretary of Homeland Security discretionary authority to temporarily parole aliens into the U.S. for urgent humanitarian reasons or significant public benefit, on a case-by-case basis. This temporary authorization allows an alien to enter and remain in the U.S. but is not considered a formal admission and is still subject to the conditions prescribed by the Secretary.

It is estimated that during the time period beginning in 2021 through 2023 2.6 million inadmissible migrants were paroled and allowed to enter the interior of the US.

"It is estimated"
Lol

Nope.

It's true that you and many others didn't like the policies....but his policies were legal and within the bounds of their authority.

One wonders if denying people medical care is really the hill that MAGA is willing to die on . . .
Then you pay for it! Nowhere in the constitution does it give the government the authority to arbitrarily confiscate funds from hard working Americans to provide services for anyone other than its own citizens. As a matter of fact the government doesn't technically have the authority to take money from one citizen to give to another. 36 trillion in debt is a prime example of what our forefathers tried to protect us from. Congress abused their authority and Schumer wants to still spend more.

Ukraine right now has a problem with illegal aliens. Why don't you go tell them that they owe the Russian invaders no end of social benefits?

I'd say you're being intellectually dishonest, but that would be an oxymoron, you don't have an intellect.

Trump is in full agreement with 'used to be real democrats' of past democrat administrations, then we got blindsided with both Covid and TDS.

Trump doesn't have an immigration policy? Trump's policy on immigration is simple, follow the laws on the books!

Most certainly are.

Debunking the Democrats’ Shutdown Delusion

Share on Facebook Share on X Print this Page Share by Email

DEMOCRAT DELUSION: Democrats will not support a partisan Republican spending bill that “rips health care away” from the American people.
REALITY: The current funding bill is a simple short-term funding extension with no policy changes and health care programs are fully funded at the current levels. Democrats want to hold September government funding hostage over an unrelated December policy fight of their own making. Policy debates can happen separately, and Democrats don’t need to shut down the government to do it.
As Democrats have even admitted, “There is a time and a place to debate health care, just like there is a time and place to debate energy policy and immigration and education — but not when the funding of the federal government, and all the lives that are impacted by it, hang in the balance.” — Senator Chris Murphy
DEMOCRAT DELUSION: Republicans are pushing a partisan bill passed on a strict party-line vote.
REALITY: The nonpartisan clean CR only appears “partisan” because 212 House Democrats and 46 Senate Democrats chose to make it that way. This CR is the same short-term funding extension that virtually all Democrats voted to pass 13 times during the Biden Administration. Despite this voting history, nearly every Democrat has refused to support the current clean, nonpartisan funding extension to keep the government open and operational.[/TD]

REPUBLICAN DELUSION: “We can do whatever we want. Sucks to be you.”

REALITY: Oops.

The point, as idiotic as it is, is that MAGATS own all 3 branches of government. The answer to that dumbass statement is they don't. MAGATS Owning the senate, since democrats vote against republicans on just about every bill, would require at least 60 republican senators.
The poor asked for some bread to go with their water. The sick asked for care so they can recover.

Republicans could have proposed SOMETHING that at least ten Democrats thought addressed this, and it wouldn't have happened. They didn't. Didn't want to. Didn't even try.

The visual display of a half-empty chamber, void of Republicans up until the final moments, is telling. Remember this at elections.
