Going to worship her in just a few minutes by slipping my body into a tub filled with extremely hot water (okay so the bubbles really aren't part of the ritual but hey I deserve some pampering!) with strawberry oil and candles lighting room. Hmm and some succulent incense too! Just have to wait for the lil witch to ride her broom into dreamland!

The Last Harvest. The Earth nods a sad farewell to the God. We know that He will once again be reborn of the Goddess and the cycle will continue. This is the time of reflection, the time to honor the Ancients who have gone on before us and the time of 'Seeing" (divination). As we contemplate the Wheel of the Year, we come to recognize our own part in the eternal cycle of Life.
my personal goddess is Rosemerta......Samhain is my favorite sabbat. When I was pregnant for each of my children, I lost two loved ones during each pregnancy. During the first was my stepfather (Daddy), and Gram Field (father's foster parent). During second pregnancy, my father (just before I found out I was pregnant actually) and my maternal grandma, Esther (whose name is now one of the second's middle names). Losing them created an impact on my life...and this was all before I made my choice to become initiated. Now when I light a candle on Samhain and pray for the presence of their spirits...it is like I have not really lost them
