The Girls of Vixen

OOC:

Update: Still need more players!

Security Guard: t. crown
Crazed Fan #1: Zamdrist
Crazed Fan #2: Kol
Crazed Fan #3: cgraven (I think?)
Janet: Fairytat
Jan: Angelofsex
Roxy: OPEN
Share: SexyChele

Introduction:

The 80's rock band Vixen was made up of four lovely ladies. As some of you may know, or remember, the 80's was a decadent time with excesses in drugs, alcohol and of course permiscious sex.

What I propose is this. We need four ladies to take on the parts of the band members. They are:

Janet Gardner - Vocals (left)
Jan Kuehnemund - Guitart (right)
Roxy Petrucci - Drums (left)
Share Pedersen - Bass (right)

I drew these pictures and info from this website. I will save the pictures too, if it goes down unexpectedly.

We need 3 possibly 4 men to play the parts of crazed devoted Vixen fans, as well as a fourth to play a roadie or security guard.

The band will be playing at a venue in Minneapolis. As the girls often do, they will pick out a few male members of the crowd to pleasure themselves with between sets and after the show. The gals would just as easily choose one of the roadies too, hence the fourth member.

PM me if you are interested (Put Vixen in the PM subject), I know I'm asking for comittments from a number of people right off, but maybe there will be interest.

Please describe your characters well, more than just the vitals. I will play the part of one of the three fans and post a reply to that effect.

Thanks!

Steven

Steven couldn't believe he had gotten tickets to Vixen's concert, much less just three rows from the stage! He has used his birthday money, turning eighteen two months ago. Having purchased a Vixen T-shirt before he hunted for his seat, he now dodged the thick crowd of people, heading for his seat. His friend was behind him, somewhere, having to use the restroom before making for the seats.

Steven combed his thick, brown hair through his fingers barely able to contain his excitement. He was thrilled with the idea of rocking out with the best looking ladies he'd ever seen! There were plenty of girls out on the arena floor, nearly all had their hair teased up like Vixen, and many were attractive. Steven had a boyish complexion, which apparently endeared him to other women. He was also tall, standing 6'5". Taller than most people about the arena. He had played most sports in high school, but especially excelled at basketball, he was fit and physically trim, if a bit skinny.

With blue eyes he peered over to the stage where Vixen would come out on. The stage was cluttered with roadies and workers moving and positioning various boxes and gear.

Steven found his and his friend's seat, which only entailed of two metal folding chairs. He verified the numbers spray painted on the seats to what the tickets said. He hadn’t realized these were aisle seats too! Confident he was in the right place, he looked back for his friend.

Anyone interested?

Many openings for a new thread. Anyone interested? Thanks.

Roxy

I teased my dark hair in the mirror getting ready to go on stage M sticks always close I picked them up and gave them a twirl. I knew I would be the first one ready to go on. I always was. I looked in the mirror one last time Dark hair looking massive firm body in tight leather pants and with a gold halter harnessing my firm breasts. I would knock em dead again tonight, I pace outsid the others dressing room doors wondering how friken long they could take. I grabbed one of the roadies and had him run me down some tequilla, always helps to take a couple of shots before the show. Slapping him on his firm but as he walked away. Being in a rock band is such demanding work.

Henry

Having been a fan of Vixen's for years, he was thrilled when he heard that they were coming to town.

He bought his ticket as soon as the tickets became available.

Dressing himself in his Vixen shirt which was on the larger side because of his frame and height, black denim jeans - a little on the tighter side and his usual footwear - steel caps.

Arriving at the venue he showed his ticket and entered, finding his seat which wasnt far from the stage. Sitting himself down he flicked his short brown hair back and looked around with his bluish-green eyes - the kind that changed with his mood.

He made sure that his 185cm and solidly built frame wasnt going to pose a problem to anyone behind him, confident it wasnt he settled himself in for the concert.

Roxy

After the roadie returned with my tequila I took a couple of quick swigs giving him some shit about not bringing me a glass. I decided to check out the crowd. The others would let them scream for another half hour just to get them riled up.
I looked out into the crowd and spotted a couple of hotties out there. I might be dragging one of those big bruisers back to the bus afterwards, maybe both if I was feeling energetic, I ducked back behind the stage before anyone saw me and I got mobbed. Waiting to see how long it would take the rest of the band to get ready.

Steven

This rather large man walks by Steven and takes a seat infront of him.

"Man! How did he get tickets that good?" Thought Steven.

The guy looked back, apparently to see if he might be blocking someone's view. It wouldn't be a problem though as Steven was nearly as tall as this man was.

"Dude! Vixen Rocks!" Steven said, and raised his hand up for a 'High-Five'.

Whilst Henry is checking his frame isnt gonna be a problem for anyone behind him he notices a man just behind him fairly tall .

No problem he will see over me, The man raises his hand for a high-five and Henry returns it saying "Vixen certainly do rock".

Introducing himself he says the name is Henry pleased to meet another loyal fan.

Steven

While Steven awaits the return of his friend he looks about the stadium. The stage level was filling up quickly and people were milling about in front of the stage. Security guards began placing themselves along the front and the roadies began taking out the equipment.

"Can't wait until the concert starts!" Says Steven to Henry.

"Those babe sure are hot man!"

Yep those babes sure are hot i reply.

If i wasnt mistaken i thought i caught a glimpse of one on stage before checking out this huge crowd.

Maybe we can get back stage later what ya think i ask the man ?

Jan

Jan looks in the mirror and see why guys flip over her. Her blond hair and green eyes and her shape is so hot. I wish I had a joint, to calm me down. Getting to fucking crazy which I do before each show. Wonder if anyone has one to help me.

Looking for a roadie, who was very good for me last night. I get his attention and ask for him to check around for me. God I need it before I go on, makes me even play better. Waiting for him to come back I take a shot of Jack Daniels, oh yes, warm on the inside.

Now where is he? Looking out the door I see him coming, I pull him inside and ask did you? All of a sudden his hand open and the joint it there. Thank you, as I light it up. Now i will be ok to play.

OOC: hi all just wanted to stop in and check it out. Since Janet is still open I will take her :)

IC: I saw Jan staring at herself in the mirror again and smothered a laugh. She looked like she needed a joint or something. She always claimed it made her play better. I didn't much care cause she was a damn good guitarist either way.

Nervously, I ran through an old vocal warmup a high school choir teacher taught me.

"Do, a deer, a female deer
Re a drop of golden sun
Mi a name I call myself
Fa a long long way to run
So a needle pulling thread
La a note to follow so
Ti a drink with jam and bread
And that brings us back to Do, do , do ..."

Satisfied that I had warmed my vocals enough, I made sure my hair was tucked into a tight bun for the first number. I edged around Jan and eyed myself. I liked the stark almost military look as it showed off my slender frame without being vulgar. The preacher's daughter was still lived beneath the glam rocker I had become. Oh yah. I was ready.

Janet

Assured that I was ready for the next step, I turned to my band mates and asked, "Everyone ready to go out?"

Henry

I was eagerly awaiting the presence of the band on stage. The concert was something i needed and if i could meet them afterwards that was going to be a bonus.

Looking around the crowd, which was starting to pack in and then looking towards the stage i thought i saw a little movement but wasnt sure.

The band was going to be worth waiting for.

Janet

Impatient with the lack of response, I tapped my foot a moment. I hated the moments right before a concert. Nervous energy always made me anxious, bitchy.

"Fine, I'm going out into the hall and will wait for you all there when you are ready," I muttered before slamming out of our dressing room.

Stalking down the long hall, hands clenched, I nearly walked into one of the security guards standing watch. He turned and frowned at me before he realized who I was.

"I'm sorry, Janet. Thought you were a fan or something," he drawled. I smiled and shrugged. "It's good to know that you are keeping watch."

Standing next to him, I couldn't help but notice the faint aftershave he wore. It had an enticing woodsy smell to it, a scent I couldn't place but must admit really liked. Rockers for the most part smelled like stale cigarette smoke and sweat, not fresh like him.

Feeling my energy transform itself into something else entirely, I was unsure of what to do. The concert was supposed to start soon, so not enough time for a quickie. However, I couldn't stop myself from checking out his lower body.

There's always time for that a devilish voice whispered.

Jan

"Janet hold on, oh never mind I see you are busy". Laughing, thinking she is ok now.

Going to find the other part of the group, has always been my job. I wonder where they are now. If I don't find them , she is going to flip out on me.

Looking for Roxy and Share all over the place. They have to be here. Let me go and have a shot of Jack Daniels.

Background and Flavor

OOC

The year is 1988, the venue is the Civic Center in Minneapolis, Mn.

Vixen is in the throes of their debut album tour. Their debut album was named: Vixen

Good biographies on the girls can be found here

The opening song will be Cruisin' and a .wav file can be found here (780 KB)

More songs will be 'released'. There should be three songs before the storyline before the real 'action' begins :D.

Lyrics for the three songs that will be 'played':

Cruisin'
It was earlier tonight, you didn't wanna be alone
So you put on your best jeans, you picked up your phone
Then you called every club you knew, to find out what's going on
As you slipped in your car, the feeling came on strong

You had to go cruisin' (cruisin'), you had to go cruisin' into wild times

Cruisin' (cruisin'), gonna ride out to the red light

You drove off in your fancy little car, you started headin' for the joy

And you got that feeling again that tonight could be so much more
You walked in looking for someone, for something to share
When you walked in, I was already there

Cruisin' (cruisin'), cruisin' into wild times
I was cruisin' (cruisin'), gonna ride out to the red light

Can't you go any faster? - That's better

(Solo)

I think it's time, yeah it's time we broke the ice
You know that this sort of thing, it did already happen twice
I wanna rock, I wanna roll, I wanna eat into your soul
Just push into the litter, whenever you lose control

Let's go cruisin' (cruisin'), I wanna go cruisin' into wild times
Let's go cruisin' (cruisin'), gonna ride it out to the red light

Edge of a Broken Heart
I can't believe I could've been so blind, but love is strange
I thought about it for a long long time, but the truth remains
I don't need another lonely night to dry my tears
The answer's plain as black and white, and I can see the picture very clear

Chorus:
I been living on the edge of a broken heart
I don't wanna fall, I don't wanna crawl
I been living on the edge of a broken heart
Don't you wonder why I gotta say goodbye

It isn't like you never had the chance to change your tune
Did you think that I'm a dime a dance, well the dance is through
I been doing things your way too long, but baby that's over (baby that's over)

It won't be easy, but I gotta be strong
And if I wanna cry I don't need your shoulder

chorus

I'll find someone else who's nothing like you
And who can play the game as well
And you're gonna be sorry baby - when it's over

(Solo)

I been doing things your way too long, baby that's over (baby that's over)

It won't be easy, but I've got to be strong
And if I wanna cry I don't need your shoulder

chorus

I been living on the edge of a broken heart
I been living on the edge of a broken heart
Don't you wonder why I gotta say goodbye
I been living on the edge of a broken heart

CRYIN'
One look and I saw what I wanted to see, you know that you
Wrapped my heart around your finger so easily, yeah

With your centerfold body going through the moves
Why did I keep wasting the truth for you, tonight

Chorus:

I won't be cryin', cryin', when I think about you, 'cos I opened my eyes
And I won't be cryin', cryin', 'cos those days are gone, gone

Someone twisted you, so you gave it to me, yeah you gave it to me good
You're a nightmare everywhere, disguised as a dream

Well I got lost, wandering through the darkness in your maze of lies
Your trapdoor-way right into my insides, but tonight

I won't be cryin', cryin', when I think about you, 'cos I opened my eyes
And I won't be cryin', cryin'

The tears are falling to the floor, but you won't catch me cryin' anymore

(Solo)

chorus repeats out

She glanced up in the mirror and caught sight of herself in the harsh light of the bathroom. Even in this unforgiving light she had to admit she looked damn good. She thought briefly of the time it took to get to where she was at. It seemed like a long road, and was now excelerated to a dizzingly fast pace.

Minnesota. She was back in Minnesota - the place she'd left behind years before. She remembered the summers at the piano, her mother's voice in her ear, urging her practice. Of course, that was before she'd discovered the bass guitar, just as she was discovering Van Halen and Aerosmith. She smiled when she thought of her mother's face when she'd said she was dropping out of high school. Hell, nothing to learn there, anyway. And she remembered her mother's tears when she finally made the move to LA.

Yeah, LA. Where she met Jan and her life began to change. It wasn't easy. Nothing in this business ever was. She and Jan and Roxy and Janet had had their share of ups and down. But they were a talented mix, and each knew they would one day make the big time. And here it was. Their debut album just released - and going over big time. She was beginning to be recognized. No longer could she run to the corner liquor store in peace. Not that she needed to, anyway. She had people to do that for her. When she was home. Which wasn't often.

She'd been born here, in Minnesota. Her home state. She always knew she'd come back when she made it in the business. And here she was.

She shook her head, almost in disbelief. She stepped away from the mirror, giving herself one more look over. Tight jeans clinging to her thin, yet shapely frame. High heels giving her the extra height over her normal 5'6". Black bustier with gold trim, peeking out seductively from the open sheer black shirt with the sleeves rolled up. Her blond hair teased high - "big hair", they were calling it. Her make up done to perfection.

She leaned against the bathroom counter and the tiny purse mirror still sitting there. Carefully picking up the brown vial, she sprinkled the white powder onto the mirror. Her hand shook slightly from nerves. It was okay. In a few minutes she would be just fine. Screwing the lid back on the vial, she buried it in her bag. Taking the edge of the $20 bill, she quickly smoothed the powder into 2 straight lines. Then rolling the bill, she brought the mirror to her nose and inhaled deeply - first the left, then the right. She tilted her head back, allowing her senses to fill.

Quickly, she felt the familiar euphoria seep through her body. Yes, she was going to be just fine. She had arrived too late at the arena to check out the fans, possibly do a little more than that. But it was cool. She could play her home state now.

Placing the mirror and the $20 bill in her bag, she hurried out of the bathroom. She knew Jan would be impatient. She was always nervous before a show. Hell, they all were - just a raw bundle of nerves. But once they were off stage, that was a different story. That was the time Share liked most.

Hurrying to the dressing room, she opened the door, and noticed only Jan standing there. She wondered where the others were. She shrugged her shoulders and walked in.

"Hey, Jan. Yeah, I know - I'm late. But, hey, I'm sorry!"

Stashing her bag in the corner, Share took up a stance by the door.

"I may be late, but I'm ready to go on. Where's everybody?"

OOC: I'd certainly love to have the part of the security guard for the group. So I'll just start if that's ok with everyone

IC: Tom finally got the job. After working security for little boy bands, he finally landed the job with a band he actually liked. Tom was in charge of controlling all access to the girls: their dressing rooms, prep rooms, stage entrance, etc. Not in the job description was his duties of getting the girls their drugs, alcohol, etc. "Damn, this job is great" Tom thought to himself. "I get to protect four incredbily, sexy woman." Tom knew he wanted to get closer to these girls, and as the tour began, he knew he would find a way.
The show was about to begin. The stadium was packed to capacity. The girls looked as sexy as ever. Tom checked everything out for them, then gave the girls the go ahead.

Show Time!

Activity on the main stage thins the roadies and workers trickle off the stage. The lights dim, dim more and go out.
The crowd cheers, sensing the time is nigh for the entrance of Vixen. The cheering continues for nearly a full minute before the distinct sound of cymbals could be heard:

"Tsss, tsss, tsss, tsss"

The stage is still veiled in darkness, the sounds of someone testing out chords, a bass sound and the sound of a guitar. The crowd is frenzied. "Vixen! Vixen! Vixen!" They cheer. The crowd noise becomes almost deafening.

Light blazes forth from the stage, pyrotechnics shoot upwards in a fountain of glittering, smoking embers. The deafening crowd is drown out by the Jan's thundering guitar licks and Roxy's staccato drum hits. Soon to follow is Janet on stage singing with all her skill and passion. Share's bass cues in; it's subtle sound skillful and sexy.

Having been a fan for many years and the concert about to begin i felt a little like a kid in a candy store.

This was something that i would remember for a long time, even more so if i got to meet them after the concert.

I most liked Share in the band and would really like a personal audience with her.

Getting past their roadie would be the problem i assumed in achieving this.

Steven

"Yeah! Yeah! Fuck yeah!" Steven cheered as the band began to make their entrance.

Pumping his fist in the air he shouted, "Rock on Vixen!"

Steven was carried along with the crowd's frenzy. His blood pumped wildly when the lights dimmed and went out. He cheered along with the other fans when the lights blazed again, but from the stage.

Everyone was on their feet, necks craning to see better. Steven was thrilled and played along with Jan, strumming his air guitar and throwing his head forward again and again with the beat.
