We were not too late. Johnny helped me get in and he managed to get the vampire hunter out, so that I could speak to her. I hugged her. "Everything will be okay." I said as I got her a drink so that she would be able to relax.

"Johnny told me a lot about you, Gabrielle." I said, "He is extremely concerned with the risks you are taking in regards to your loneliness. He is frightened that one day someone is going to kill you. I would really like for you to come stay at my home. There are others like you and Johnny that live there. You will still be able to work and spend time with Johnny. I am really sorry about your loss..."

I knew about what happened in the mansion. Let’s just say the grim reaper is about like the one from the Final Destination movies and was staying with me feeling like he was failing at his job. He left a few months after making progress (as horrible as it sounded his work is necessary) and after what happened to Dracula and his minions, he locked the doors from the outside when the fire broke out due to the fact that they were on his list. I cried as the man was dragged out of the room. I could not believe how he was accusing me of such things. In regards to the mansion, a fire broke out after I left from how panicked everybody was after the death of Dracula and his minions. They accidentally knocked down candles in the rush to get out after being busted. The woman who talked to me was extremely kind.

“I-I will stay with you.” I said, “I just need to get my things.”
She told me that she would send her son and a few of the others to get what I needed. Her house had a couple of two story apartment buildings behind it. After she left, I rested until it was time for the bar to close and went to see Johnny. I hugged him and thanked him.

I got up from bed and got ready. I had to go see Narissa at 10. I took a shower and got dressed. I put on a skirt and a black low cut blouse. I ate, then told Johnny that I would see him at work.

Everyone was really nice to me when I arrived. I was greeted by her son. He was mute, but mentally I could speak to him. He was 19 with short black hair. He looked human, but he had red eyes and sharp fangs. I told him where I lived so that he could help me move in to one of the apartments. I met with Narissa. She told me that they had therapy sessions. I only had to attend two of them. One was the control of dangerous impulse and the other was to help me cope with the loss of Lyth.

A few months passed, and I was starting to feel a lot better. I began working for Miss Grey's Home for Supernatural Beings as a social worker of sorts. While I worked at the bar, I helped bring in supernatural beings that were at risk.

Narissa made me aware of an extremely tough case. She wanted me to investigate a halfling that had been causing trouble in the town. He had been breaking into houses, stealing, and feeding off of women among other things. He had a lot of husbands and boyfriends furious.

That night he showed up at the bar.

-Enter Jynx a half-ling with problems. He had no home and had no family left to fend for him self from the orphanage he escaped at age ten and began to try to live the best he could his brain and heart hurt from child molestation and the lack of love he had in his heart. I went over to wait his table. “Hi I am Gabrielle.” I added, “I will be your waitress for the evening. What will you be having, sweetheart?”. I was going to really have to earn his trust. I went back to the bar to prepare his order when I saw two warlocks approach him. I waited a bit wondering what the hell they wanted from him. If it was to harm, that was not going to be happening. Outside the bouncers were dealing with four warlocks fighting. It was planned.

-The two warlocks approached.-"What do you two want."-the two looked and one spoke.-"That Gem you have has special properties we hear."-Jynx growled.-"This only works for me I have told every one that..."-He said.-"You two are warlocks you check it out your selves."-They both surrounded him while it was on his wrist it was magical they couldn't sense different.-"Liar give it to us."-he began to back up in to a corner.-

This was not going to happen... I approached the table confronting the two warlocks. My eyes blazing a fiery red and fangs bared. "I would suggest you two leave..." I said to the two, "I know what you are and know a full blooded vampire can really fuck you two up!". I was in defensive stance ready for whatever they threw at me.

-They backed up they were not here for a fight they left quickly as Jynx sighed and slumped to the floor and curled in to a ball. Jynx looked up.-"thank you so much."-he said standing up slowly and looked to Gabrielle.-

"Are you okay?" I asked as I helped him up. I had to be very subtle about this. I did not want him believing that I was trying to take advantage of the situation. I told him I would be back and told Johnny that I would be leaving for the evening to help the guy out. I went back to him. "If you want I can walk you home." I said, "You never know if they are going to be waiting for you outside. Where do you live?".

-It happen sort of fast the waitress helped him but some how she did not seem very dangerous towards him. I said, "In addition to working at the bar, I work as a social worker of sorts to supernatural beings at Mrs. Grey's Home for Supernatural Beings. All the supernatural beings there are getting help to control certain impulses. I was actually a patient there myself due to the fact that I got involved with some extremely dangerous lovers after the death of my beloved. I have a collar he gave me to control my other vampiric urges. I can even walk in the sunlight."

I was extremely vigilant as we walked down the street to the home.

-Jynx looked at the Amulet and Lyth Amulet glowed in her pocket. Jynx couldn't help but look at it as they walked together.-"That is a amazing artifact."-Jynx looked.-"I guess i can give it a shot."

I could feel the warmth of the amulet and looked down wondering what it could possibly mean. I was going to have to look into it. I decided that I would look in the Occult Library to find out a lot more. We got to the home and I ran my key card through so that we could go in. -Running in to the bathroom Jynx removed his clothes and set them on the sink he needed to wash them dreadfully as he began to shower the hot water almost burned his skin due to how long it has been.
