OCC: I'm fairly new here, participating in a couple of threads, and not yet tried one of my own. This may have been done before, either sucessfully or not, but here is the premise.

I am Joseph Malone
41 years old,
6'2"
Athletic, good shape, but not exactly 'ripped'
Blonde hair
Blue eyes
Divorced 2 years ago
Recently 'hit it big' in the multi-state Mega-Bucks Lottery

After the windfall, I moved to the outskirts of Las Vegas, Nevada, bought a very large, comfortable home, and a piece of prime real estate just off the strip. I am just finishing construction of the newest, most glamourous Gentlemans Club to grace the city. Although the laws of the State of Nevada, may prevent the type of activity that will go on here from taking place, this is the State of Lit, so at this point, the laws have yet to be written.

This will be an Open thread, anyone wanting to participate is welcome. You may participate full or part time.

Certain "Virtual" staff members will always be on duty, 24/7. This would include bartenders, bouncers, cooks, waitresses, and general cleaning/maintainence staff. You are welcome to take over the role of any of these "Virtual" staff members at any time, for as long as you want. If you want to be bouncer for a night, the "virtual" guy just gets a day off, when your done with that role, he returns. Feel welcome to name, interact with, speak for, and control any of the virtual staff, as you please.

We will hire as many dancers as would like to be hired. They set their own hours, limits of conduct, prices, etc... They will normally be interviewed by me, but may at any time ask for an autition, with the "virtual" manager on duty.

The Club:
The name of the the Club is The Foxes & Hounds Club. It is a very modern, well appointed establishment. There is a link to the floorplan in this message.

There are 5 stages, open for use when anyone wants to use them. The Main Stage is large, surrounded by comfortable seats, and may accomodate 2, 3 or even more dancers. The Cage stage is also surrounded by the same comfortable chairs, as are all the stages. It is enclosed by gold bars, making it some what like a cage or jail cell. The Shower Stage is equipped with a working shower stall, made from, of course floor to ceiling glass. The Pole Stage is just that, It has two tall silver poles running from the stage to the ceiling. Stage 2, is an open, clear stage, and can be used for just about anything, props and sets may be constructed at will, just use your imagination.

Between the Main Stage, and the Dressing room is a Public Dance Floor. Dancers are allowed to dance with the patrons here (any fees would be at the dancers discretion), partial/full nudity and stripping is allowed.

There is a gaming room equipped with slots and various video gaming machines, and of course cigarettes, snacks and an ATM.

There is an entrance off both the main lobby and off the gaming room to the private/lapdance room. Here patrons may be entertained by the dancer of their choice to a more personal/private experience.(dancers set prices, exclusive of the club.)

Off the private/lapdance room is a door to a hallway. Here there are some totally private rooms, equipped with minibars, small jacuzzi tubs, sofas and beds. All the dancers have access to these rooms, by means of push-button codelocks near the doors. They may be used for resting, or further entertainment of the patrons, at you discretion. Anything goes in these private rooms, only you can decide the limits. There is a panic button for the bouncer on duty if the need arises. Prices here also are up to the dancers and patrons to work out between them.

The Club only asks of the dancers a 10% commision on all tips/fees collected while on the premises. Dancers work for the other 90% and collect no salary from the Club.

My door is always open to any dancer/staff/patron, who is having any kind of problem with anyone else. Feel free to stop by and say hello, or register any compliment/complaint in the office.

We feature a full service menu and will at any hour, honor any and all requests.

Dancers are welcome to work as cocktail, and/or food waitresses any time they wish.

Patrons are welcome to come and enjoy the ammenities, stay as long as the wish, and of course, tell and invite their friends. I would assume we will be having both male and female patrons, although the dancers will be limited to the female persuasion. (Plans for a male-dancing addition, could be drawn up at a later date if enough requests were submitted.
Patrons are asked to comply with the bouncers at all times, be respectful of the dancers and staff, or may be asked to leave.

I hope this thread turns out to be a hit, as anyone should be able to stop in anytime and have a good time. I may post additional items at a later date, but I think I have the basic premise covered pretty will for now.

Fell free to PM me with any questions.

First and foremost.... Have a blast and play nice with each other

"Well, It's finally here," I thought to myself as I woke up on another sunny Las Vegas morning. It was the opening day of my new club, The Foxes & Hounds. I had been looking forward to this day for quite awhile. I showered, and got dressed. Blue jeans and polo shirts was my style. I jumped in my blue BMW and headed to the club. The outside looked great, inviting and interesting, with a european motif, woodsy, almost like a light foresty feeling to it. I walked in and flicked the switch for the 'Open 24/7' neon light which hung outside aboce the main entrance. The assistant manager on duty was Jeff, he had arrived some hours earlier to prepare things, oversee the kitchen staff and get the place ready for the first day. I sat down at a table near the kitchen and looked over the breakfast menu. Might as well order the first meal, although I know the food was impeccable, I had hired the chefs and let them recommend their own assistants. A scantilly clad waitress approached and took my order, "I'll have the Denver omlette, wheat toast and a cup of coffee." She took my order and padded off toward the kitchen. "Well, all we can do now is wait and see what happens," I holler over to Jeff, "What time do the dancers you auditioned show up?"
"I've got 3 coming in at 9, 2 more at 11, then 3 more at 1pm." was his reply. I looked at my watch, "perfect," I thought, it was 8:30, the place should be rocking soon...

OOC : Props on the work you've done here man, well done, hope I don't mess up your thread, :D

IC : My name is Kingston Hughes, I'm black, 6"1, 190, 34, green eyes. I'm a defense attorney on vacation. I'm in Nevada on holiday, gambling, and so forth. I've made myself 50G in Las Vegas, and met Mr Malone at a blackjack table, who gave me a card to his club. Curious, I'm looking to spend my winnings on a good time, away from the wife.

Slowly, I drove up to the club, with no idea of what was awaiting me inside. I grabbed a cigarette, and lit it, staring at the unassuming, but large building. Slowly, I walked away from my Cadillac and towards the door.

I finished my breakfast and headed to my office just in time to greet the first three dancers. They introduced themselves as April, Ashley, and Danielle. They were all stunning, April was the shortest, about 5'6", with short straight blonde hair, I guessed here measurments at 34-25-36, she wore baggy clothes but had a great smile and very pleasant personality, Ashley was taller, probably 5'9", long blonde curly hair, had very large firm breasts which she proudly showed off, wearing only a purple bikini top and cut-off blue jeans. Danielle was a classic beauty, 5'8", wore a tight white halter top, and matching leather pants. They all carried large duffel bags, full of outfits, I assumed. "Welcome to the Club, girls," I smiled and shook their hands. "I know we haven't met yet, but I'm Joe Malone, owner of this fledgling enterprise, and I'm glad to have you aboard. I opened a bottle of champagne I had on ice for just this occasion, and poured 4 glasses of the bubbly liquid. "I'm sure Jeff filled you in on the particulars, so I'll let you go get us started. I hope the greatest success to us all." With that the four of us toasted to the success of the club. "If you have any questions, problems, or concerns, my door is always open. I'll probably be calling you in here to get to know you a little, when things have settled down. I'm hoping the first customers show up soon, so get out there and shake those money-makers." With that, we finished our champagne, and the girls departed to the dressing room, changed into their sexiest outfits and hit the stages......

I emerged from the office after the last of the scheduled dancers had shown up. The place was hoppin, quite a few customers for the limited early advertising that I had done. I told Jeff, the assistant manager, I'd be gone for awhile, but back later this evening.

Red stuck a tooth pick in his mouth, and chewed on it slowly. It was a little dirty habit he had picked up years and years ago working bars down in L.A. Some of the shitty places he had gotten jobs at were so boring some nights, the only thing he could do to keep awake was to chew on a tooth pick.
He smiled sometimes, thinking of the many different patrons who'd comment on it. Some would mention Freud and his theories, others would claim he was from the deep south. He had to laugh at that one the first time he heard it.
Must have been cause his voice, while deep and soothing, was far from southern. He had been born and raised in Alaska, the furthest away from the south one can get.
In any case, it always was there, a toothpick in his mouth, and he chewed it slowly until it was nothing more than a sliver of wood. Then he'd get another.
"What can I do you for?" he asked a heavy set man as he leaned against the bar.
"I'll take a shot of whiskey," he said, wiping his brow. Since the room had gotten qite crowded it had been steadily getting hotter and hotter in here. He would have to ask Jeff to turn up the A/C before too long.
Pouring the whiskey, he let the man go on with his business for the night. He went over to pour a couple more drinks.
His business for the night.

OOC:

I hope this post is ok.
Wanted to introduce a curious and openminded character to your club. Maybe she could start as a waitress and.. try other forms of employment...?
Let me know if it's inappropriate and I will edit / delete.

IC:

I stood self-conscously outside the club.

It had seemed a good idea at the time.
Well it still did, though that bouncer guy hadn't looked very impressed.

At least he'd told me that Mr Malone had gone out and would have to come in this way en route to his office.
Though it was obvious that he didn't rate my chances of landing a job.

I was annoyed at myself.
The guy had run his eyes over me and said that the dancers were all hired.
I'd insisted that I just wanted a job as a waitress.
Joe Monroe didn't hire naive brits, he'd told me, picking up my accent immediately.

I'd blushed then! Blushed! I cursed myself afterwards!

I was born Brit, but had finally been allowed to stay with my dad. I had only been over a month so far, and the accent was still strong. Would that count in my favour? Probably not!

Mom wasn't too pleased, about me abadoning her aswell - that is how she saw it - but hell I was 21 and staying over here was no worse than renting in London, where, much to her disgust I'd pursued courses in acting and dancing.

I wanted to continue my studies over here, but I needed a job, not as much to fund my schooling, but to be able to afford the rent on the little apartment I'd eagerly agreed to move into.

He didn't like it, but I was just too old to be living with daddy anymore. I needed space. I needed the freedom I was used to!

Dad had left when I was 11.
I wasn't his little girl anymore.
He had no idea about me now and I'd found it difficult to adjust to his expectations of me. He tried hard. So did I, but
he was alternately shocked or disappointed and I was constantly plagued by guilt. Moving out was the only way to save our father-daughter relationship and keep us both sane!

I'd heard there was a new club opening and thought I'd give it a go. I guess I wasn't the "lapdancer" type, but I wasn't as "freshfaced and innocent" as I looked.

Waitressing was what I knew, but I guess I could .. diversify later - if I wanted to.

Unfortunately I knew that my youthful look could count against me. I'd even brought along my passport to prove to Mr Malone that I was really 21!

Determination had to count for something, I decided.
I would wait, even if ultimately I got turned down.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

I glanced, suddenly aware that car had drawn up to the curb.
It had to be him.
I would give it my best shot.

I smiled confidently and asked politely;

"Mr Malone...?"

"No" I answered to the woman who had approached me. "No, you must be looking for the manager, I think you'll find him inside, where I'm headed, as a matter of fact."

I smiled broadly at the young woman, very young really, maybe 20. "I'm Kingston, it's a pleasure to meet you young lady."

I stuck a hand out, still smiling.

Belinda

"No..."

I tried to hide my disappointment as the man continued.

"No, you must be looking for the manager, I think you'll find him inside, where I'm headed, as a matter of fact."

I nodded and wondered if the bouncer had deliberately misled me.

"I'm Kingston, it's a pleasure to meet you young lady."

I returned his broad smile, putting my hand in the one he extended to me.

"Hello Mr Kingston, I'm Belinda Lewis."

I grin.

".. and yes, I am British I'm afraid, but I hope you won't hold that against me."

I glance up at the club wondering whether i want to suffer the glare of the bouncer again.

I laughed at her shyness.

"No, no, no. Kingston Hughes, Kingston will be fine. It's lovely to meet you, Belinda."

I waited with her for a moment in silence, rubbing and blowing on my hands in the chilly air, despite the blazing Sun.

"You know, I think Mr Malone may be inside, would you like to come in, maybe join me for a drink?"

She was certainly stunning. A bright, innocent face, hidden slightly as she constantly stared at her shoes, and a shock of gold hair. She was quiet for a moment, I nodded invitingly at her, trying to appear as harmless as possible.

Belinda

I looked up as he laughed, giving an answering smile.

"No, no, no. Kingston Hughes, Kingston will be fine. It's lovely to meet you, Belinda."

I let my eyes run over him. He was so tall, he towered over my mere 5 ft 4. I calculated he was in his 30s ... just. Handsome, powerful, moneyed I guessed. Just the type to enjoy his leisure in a place like this, I guessed, but hey what did I know?

I watched as he rubbed his hands and stamped in the now cold air. Only now did I realise how chilled I felt myself.
How long had I been standing there?
It was a lost cause.
I guessed I'd have to look elsewhere for employment.

"You know, I think Mr Malone may be inside, would you like to come in, maybe join me for a drink?"

I looked up as he invited me to accompany him.

"Inside? In there?"

I didn't know if women were allowed as guests.
I guessed they must be,but... boy did I feel ignorant.
Perhaps that bouncer had been right!

He smiled as I looked up at him.
The biting wind made me shiver.

"I'd love to have a drink with you, Kingston, but.. I really should be on my way."

I paused. I figured I should explain.

"I came here looking for a job, just as a waitress.."
I added hastily, too hastily perhaps.

"I had a bit of a run in with the bouncer on the door, he obviously thought I didn't fit the bill,"

I shrugged pretending the guy's reaction hadn't bothered me.

"That's why I'm waiting out here on a wild goose chase. I don't fancy running into him again..."

I smiled at him ruefully.

"I hope you have a nice time, though... "

As she spoke, she seemed defeated, almost desperate. I liked the look of her, the way she spoke, though rough and uneducated, was also, in a strange way, was also exotic. She smiled at me in an odd fashion, I couldn't quite pick it up. She has her own ways, and I couldn't take my mind off them, or my eyes off her.

She turned to leave, but I called out to her as I slid off my leather gloves.

"Belinda, I believe I have an idea."

She began to walk over slowly, suspiciously almost. I held up a fifty dollar bill.

"All this gentleman needs is a healthy tip." I glanced towards the bouncer, then back at Belinda, curling my arm around, inviting her to take it.

Belinda

"Belinda, I believe I have an idea."

I turned. Kingston had taken his gloves off and held out a fifty dollar bill.

"All this gentleman needs is a healthy tip."

" A tip?"

He expected me to take it.

"I'm not sure that's the way to do it, well, it isn't in England."

I didn't quite know what to make of him.
Confusion written on my face.

"Belinda, if you want this job, you're only chance is to come in." I said sternly, sick of her indecisiveness. I added in a softer tone.

"With me. I'll be inside if you'd like to come in, this;" I shook the bill. "Is his, with instructions to let you in." I paused "If you want."

I went to the door, discussed the situation with the rather imposing bouncer, who became much more affable when I gave him the fifty.

"Thank you very much Mr Hughes, enjoy your stay with us." He said jovally.

"Oh I will Jack, I will."

I slapped him on the back, opened the door and looked back at Belinda, still glancing up at me, before I went in.

Belinda

"Belinda, if you want this job, you're only chance is to come in."

I look at him, finding his tone intimdating.

"With me. I'll be inside if you'd like to come in, this is his, with instructions to let you in."

I smiled uncertainly. He was coming in with me...

"If you want."

I nodded accepting his offer, before I changed my mind.

I watched as he moved to the door and chatted with the bouncer. The fifty exchanged hands.

"Thank you very much Mr Hughes, enjoy your stay with us." He said jovally.

"Oh I will Jack, I will."

Kingston opened the door and looked back at me.

I moved quickly up to him, slipping close by his side as we moved through the door.

As the door closed behind us I quirked a smile up at him.

We walked towards the bar, the place was kinda empty this time of the morning, and I'd hoped to meet Mr Malone myself. So I scanned the place, searching for him for the both of us. I resigned to the fact that I wouldn't find him, and turned my attention to Belinda's beauty once more.

As we sat at the bar, I got a bourbon and coke and turned to her.

"And what are we having this morning, madam?"

I winked at her, causing her to giggle slightly, trying to put her at ease.

Belinda

My eyes darted round the bar. I looked at the seating, the
stages and tried not to let my curiosity be too noticeable.
Kingston seemed at ease.
I wondered if he knew the place well.
I was almost relieved that there were few people here.

He walked with me and sat indicating a place by his side.
I watched him order his drink and turn to me.

"And what are we having this morning, madam?"

His wink made me giggle.
The temporary bad humour, which I had glimpsed briefly seemed to have disappeared.

"I'd like a white wine, please... and.. please.. call me Lindy.. all my friends do.."

I invited.

I ran a hand through my hair, smoothing it as I waited.

The place looked interesting, not sleazy, I'd been told it was..ok.. classy even... and.. if Kingston were anything to go by, the clientele would be ... interesting.

I smiled up at Kingston as he handed my drink over.

"Thankyou.. cheers.."

I darted a playful grin as I raised it to my lips.

I could see she was becoming more relaxed as she told me her nickname. I saw her sweep the place with her eyes, much like I had as I walked in, but in a much more darting and concerned fashion. As he head darted around, she ran her hand through her hair. Her gaze still elsewhere I couldn't help but purse my lips in approval. I quickly went back to my smile when her eyes met mine, and gave her her wine.

"Cheers" she said.

I nodded again, watching her as she took in her drink, her sweet lips, coated in red lipstick, her large eyes, cast down once more. I watched her, and only when she finished did I gulp down the bourbon and coke in one take.

"So, tell me about yourself...Lindy."

Belinda

I sipped slowly at the wine.
Mmmmm it was good.

I watched Kingston. Man, he downed is drink in one gulp.

"So, tell me about yourself...Lindy."

I smiled, wondering where to begin.

"Well ... as I said, I'm English. I was studying in London, the arts.. acting, dancing, had a few little roles in the fringe theatres.. I came over here just about a month ago...still trying to study..."

I paused, sipped my wine. His eyes were still on me.

"I've been living with my dad... estranged dad.. long story, not worth going into... a job would let me afford rent..."

I smiled at him, allowing myself to eye him curiously..

"..and what about you... ?"

"I'm a lawyer. A defense lawyer. I work in Philadelphia, I come here to chill every now and then." I thought about the word "here".

"Well, to Vegas. I just need to get away from..." I thought about mentioning my wife at home. I wanted to have some fun with this girl (and that is what she was, age notwithstanding), and wondered if she'd be more turned on about a married man or single. Eventually, I decided against disclosing everything.

"Get away from things. Lot of pressure, lot of stress, lot of fucked up people out there. Lot of people I don't want to know."

My eyes glazed over for a moment before I noticed her golden hair once more, and again smiled.

"However, I am here, now, with you, and I am enjoying myself, Lindy."

There was a pause in conversation, before I said inquiringly.

"What of these money problems?"

Lindy

I listen as he speaks. His voice is deep, resonant.

"I'm a lawyer. A defense lawyer. I work in Philadelphia, I come here to chill every now and then."

I nod.

"Well, to Vegas. I just need to get away from...Get away from things. Lot of pressure, lot of stress, lot of fucked up people out there. Lot of people I don't want to know."

"Yes.. alot of crap around these days, I saw it in London. Stress especially. City workers, not a soul amongst them..."

I comment and sip my wine.

"However, I am here, now, with you, and I am enjoying myself, Lindy."

I grin. He was charming and good company I t hought.

"What of these money problems?"

"Well.. not money problems as such. I have my fees and stuff covered.. dad's on such a guilt trip I only have to look at something and he'll buy it for me.... "

I look at him, hesitating, wondering how much to tell him...

I tap on the bar for another drink. It's delivered with minimal delay, and I wait and watch her, making direct eye contact, not breaking it as I gulped the drink again, this time not taking the whole glass at once, about half.

"How much does your father earn? What does he do? Maybe I can arrange something for you?"

The questions spilled out, and, realising that the last one was perhaps not appropriate, and a withdrew to my drink, waiting for a response of some sort.

Lindy

I watch him down another drink, in two gulps this time.

"How much does your father earn? What does he do? Maybe I can arrange something for you?"

I look up at him in shock.
Talk of money makes me nervous.

"Look.. I don't know my father that well. He left when I was little, years ago, and we never got a penny... cent..from him. Suddenly he's willing to put me through school and give me a roof.. and .. I'm grateful, sure, but... I don't want to live with daddy... a dad I really don't know."

I sigh.

"He's trying to make up for lost time. I'm giving him a hearing, but at 21 I'm too old to live at home. I have money, but to move out I need a regular wage, doing something, that still allows me the day for classes, auditions and such..."

I look at him and smile.

"Thanks for the offer, but I'm not in trouble or anything..."

The bourbon is already starting to have a mild affect. She starts to seem more nervous, squirming in her chair. She finishes confidently though, rejecting my pseudo offer for help. Again, I think over my reply, staring into that beautiful, youthful, face, golden hair...

"No, I wouldn't imagine you'd be in trouble, Lindy, I didn't mean to imply that, I apologize. What I meant was...I'm interested in what you have to say. What will you do if you don't get this job?"

Lindy

"No, I wouldn't imagine you'd be in trouble, Lindy, I didn't mean to imply that, I apologize. What I meant was...I'm interested in what you have to say. What will you do if you don't get this job?"

"Well..this job was an outside chance. There are other places, though I was told Mr Malone was a fair type of guy."

I shrug, deciding to convide in him.

"To be honest, Kingston. I have a real nice lil place all lined up, but.. looks like I'll have to pass it up."

I sigh heavily and drain my drink.

"If worst comes to the worst, I stay with daddy and try to mend bridges. He's a nice enough guy... just a deserter!"

I blush, glancing at him.

"Sorry, weren't we supposed to be having fun? I didn't mean to lay all this on you."
