Mech pilot (Closed for The_Weeping_Angel )

Jon says "Tent is set up and bedding is laying flat." Jon gets the emergency pouch... He peaks in it to see if they stuck a emergency fishing line... He finds it... Jon asks "would you like me as a seat or anything before I start to fish?"

Jon unwrapped the line from the little cardboard holder.. Jon then found the hook and tied the line... Jon looked for some worms by moving a few rocks.. He found one.. Now he was all set to go fishing...Tossing the line in and letting the worm/hook float... Jon just had to lay back and relax while waiting to see if anything would bite... If not there is always MRE's with eggs, hash browns and instant potatoes to eat..

Moving through the trees, Laurel found more sticks and fallen branches for the fire. He was like a kid with a new toy. Always wanting to play and never willing to let things just happen at their own pace.

Using the hand weapon she shot several bigger limbs breaking them into smaller and more manageable sizes.

With the stream being so shallow, Jon was not shocked that nothing went after the worm... The sun was starting to set and Jon pulled the line in and wrapped it up on the cardboard... Jon went to the area of the tents and asked "Want a MRE before going to bed?"

“No,” Laurel replied, laying on the ground and watching the stars overhead as they slowly came out, and the sky darkened.

Jon nodded and said "Good night" and went into the tent.. Jon moved his bag to the front of the tent to give his face a bit of a shadow, also make it easier for her to go into his bag should she want anything later..

After a while of staring at the stars and finally getting tired Laurel climbed into the tent, crawling into her own sleeping bag and turning away from him to fall asleep, though it didn’t come easy. Nor was it calm and peaceful. Tossing and turning in the bag she woke up a scream held silent in her throat, her knife in her hand, ready for battle.

Jon had zonked out shortly after getting in the tent... He partly woke up as she came into the tent... Hearing Laurel make a ruckus, Jon rolled over and asked "Is everything ok?, You are safe... You are with me Jon..."

Jon had a feeling this was a PTSD nightmare so he knew not to try and touch her...

Jerking awake Laurel’s hand was white as she held her blade, when she saw where she was she laid back down. “I’m fine.” she said as she turned away from him.

"You got it..." I slip out of the tent to sit on the grass and looking up at the stars, but where I can keep a eye on the opening of the tent...

It took even longer to fall asleep the second time, but eventually it happened, with tears slipping down across her skin. The blade still held in her white knuckled hand.

Jon knew he couldn't do anything unless she wanted to take his help..... Jon just sat relaxed out in the night air and waited... Waited for something to happen...

When morning came Laurel was still tired, but she wasn’t gonna sleep anymore so she got up and crawled from the tent, her rifle in hand.

Jon put his hands up in the air. He sit wish a smile on his face as he looks over at Laurel "Friend don't shoot"

Staring at him for a long moment she said nothing, her face turning into a scowl before she turned and walked for the treeline.

Jon shrugs and got to climbing the mech to pull his rifle out and climbs down, so he can walk the other way on the game trail till he found where he wanted to set up in the treeline.... Jon was not sure if it was really one game trail, or two that line up near perfect at the river....

In a few hours he seen what looked like a deer and seen it was alone, so he taken his shot and dropped it... With a sigh Jon says to him self "Time to clean it."

Perched between two large branches of a tree Laurel watched the scenery below, not moving as several animals moved around, occasionally perking their heads when her scent was brought to them.

She heard the shot in the distance, but that didn’t mean a kill. So she waited. Waited for the perfect target.

Jon got to work gutting the animal... Saving the good organs like heart and liver, while allowing the trash to lay on the grass... Jon then put the chest on his back and carried it to camp... The good thing about the chest of the animal being up by this shoulders is that gave gravity some time to pull the blood out of the animal....Jon hopes his trip on foot, would get most if not all the blood out before he gets to camp, otherwise he will put it by the river with him guarding it...

She sat in the perch for a while before finally taking out two smaller creatures that looked like horned rabbits before she climbed down and claimed her kills. Clean headshots without wasting any meat.

Walking back to camp she carried them by their horns as she made her way through the forest/jungle back to the clearing.

Jon smile and say "Oh good you got some game to, we will not need to worry about hunting for a bit from the looks of it., Let me hang this thing up to finish draining before I think about processing this deer like animal..."

“Sure,” she said dropping the animals next to him. She didn’t really care, one of them would do the skinning and cleaning, might as well be him.

“I’m going for a swim,” she said walking towards the water. Once there she slid in, before peeling her clothes off and giving them a good rinse and tossing them onto the beach before submerging herself and relaxing.

Jon watches as she drops the animals next to him.

Jon smiles as she says she is going for a swim and walks off... Jon could not help but admire the view as she walks away... Jon did lightly sigh as she slipped into the water with her clothing on, but smiled when she tossed them to the shore... Jon knew they where miles from anyone and hopes she was enjoying the water nude...

Jon got to cleaning the rabbit looking things... He hung them up next to the deer thing then went to lay on the beach with his back down as he looked up at the sky.... Just enjoying being out there, while letting her have her fun in the water with out him saying anything to her...
