I have an idea involving four characters.
A mom (43) and her daughter (18)
An older man (65) and his son (35)
The initial thought is that the mom and older man are neighbors. He lost his wife 2 years ago and the mom sympathize with the old man. It gets to the point where the mom and older man agrees to have sex (which idk how that would come about.)
Eventually this spirals to where their kids find out (on different occasions, not at the same time) and also get involved and they have threesomes and foursomes.

Your thoughts? No real story but I like one because the idea seems hot. How would they (Mom and older man) get started? How do the kids find out? Why would they want to participate? (My idea for the daughter is that she thinks her mother is selling her body to the older man and she's willing to sacrifice her youthful body for her mom? Idk doesn't really hold water.)

More details might help. Like is the mom divorced, married, single raising a bastardized daughter? I get the sympathetic reaction to the widower, but her motivation and background is kind of lacking from the original synopsis. And yeah, I get that you are kind of searching for her motivation. That's where the current circumstances can help. Such as, if she's married, is the current husband neglectful or abusive? If she's divorced, maybe she is thinking that the older neighbor might be more sympathetic and treat her more respectfully than the ex. Lastly, after a deadbeat dad, a more responsible more mature gentleman might be a welcome respite from having to shoulder the burden of raising a coming-of-age daughter.

See this is a hard one. I can buy one family that keeps it in the family, but two is a hard swallow, no pun intended.

It's not the complication. Logistically one could write your way around most anything. It's keeping it plausible.
It would be a very rare occurrence that two families would be interested in sex with their adult children. Proximity isn't enough to overcome the social taboo of inter-familial intercourse. So you have to build the story in such a way to explain how they all came around to that sort of relationship. These sexy people got together and had sex because they live near one another, is contrived and unrealistic.

Yeah, hadn't really thought about a backstory but yes, it would help. I was thinking of a divorced wife and I like your idea of an ex who's neglectful and a deadbeat whereas the neighbor is gentle and respectful. I'll think of something.

Lol, if it ever gets to that point where I expand on it. I definitely would put these ideas in mind. Each new addition would be a new story part. Love the idea of Daniel's wife joining in and her being bisexual would persuade her join in. I still need to know how she gets involved though. Cause there's kind of different ways that could work or not. For me, Daniel and Michelle lives elsewhere but now with this going on, they spend more time at their father's place.
The boyfriend is easy. What young man not want to have sexy women want him.
The best friend seems also quite easy, but I would like it if she's crushing on Arthur instead. As a way to connect it back to the two who started it all, the mom and older man. Maybe she has a thing for older people! Idk lol. But yes this would be fun to write.
