Current Situation:

Time: Late Afternoon

Monty: At the Montgomery Estate, milling about, waiting for the party to begin at 8pm.

Pete: At the Townsend Farm, doing chores, then preparing for the party.

Blair: Unknown. (Lonely Girl is taking the part from me; the last post put her upstairs in the Townsend home, dressing her topless body.)

Jack: At the Townsend home, telling Pete she would handle the chores so that he could prepare for the party.

Emmy: Leaving the Brickerwood Hardware and Dry Goods Store with a bag full of sexy undergarments.

Evangeline: Returning to the Montgomery Estate after a suggestive visit with Pete.

Mister Tim Taylor: In the hardware store's back room, fantasizing about being with Jack ... someday.

Tommy Taylor: In the hardware store, fantasizing about being with Emmy ... some day.

Gloria, the Real Estate Agent: In the hardware store, fantasizing about being anywhere but in Brickerwood ... someday.

Okay, so we are ready to get back to the story. I will post soon, but anyone can begin when they want to.

Sorry for the hassle. Keep in mind what caused it, and write your posts appropriately. (I apologize for all of this. I had no idea that we would be "killed" for the way we were handling the issue. BTW, the OOC thread is still up and operating. Concerning "this issue", LonelyCollegeGirl, could you check your profile for Emmy and ensure that it is correctly written?)

The sun was slipping slowly down behind the Brickerwood Nature Preserve, casting the Montgomery Estate in a deepening darkness. The 500 acres of tall fir and cedar -- the last untouched patch of virgin timber left in the state -- was the reason Monty picked Brickerwood for his weekend home. Landing this particular track of land, bordering the Federally Protected Wilderness Area, had been purely blind luck.

Standing here on the deck, staring out at the forest as the reddening sun fell, silhouetting a flock of cawing crows and a huge snag in which a Golden Eagle was perched, made Monty feel alive; he wasn't a religious man, per se, but this natural beauty had always made him believe in a "Mother Nature" sort of entity.

As the last rays blazed through the thick foliage, he turned back to the pool ... and an evil grin spread across his face. He lifted a small remote, activated it, and spoke, "Emergency Lighting."

Lights of every size and type in every direction -- on the house, on poles, along the deck and pathways, and even below the water line of the pool -- illuminated, turning night to day. A shriek, followed by laughter and playful curses sounded from the jacuzzi. Two of the catering crew -- who Monty had excused from their duties, "Because I need the pool tested for comfort," he'd told them with a knowing smirk -- rose quickly from the bubbling pool of water and sprinted for their uniforms.

Seeing the water dripping from their naked bodies ... now that really made Monty feel alive. Mother Nature's finest work, he thought to himself. The women rushed to redress before someone inside -- particularly their boss -- found them; their clothes matted against their wet skin, slowing their progress, which suited Monty just fine.

As they finished, he approached them, chuckling. "Sorry about that ladies. Maybe the alarm went off. The lights are supposed to--"

"Bullshit!" one of the women laughed, "You did that on purpose! Gonna get us burned by our boss!"

Monty only laughed louder, as he dug down into the pocket of his slacks and pulled out a gold money clip thick with crisp bills. "Let me make it up to you."

He pulled off four one hundred dollar bills and offered them out toward the closest woman. "Just in case ... you get burned, I mean."

The woman tugged at her blouse, pulling the cloth away from the wet skin of her full breasts. She rearranged it, smoothing it, causing her hardened nipples to show themselves easily. Her eyes dropped to her form; her smile when she looked back up told Monty she was well aware of what the cold was doing to her, and well aware of how it was likely affecting her host.

"And ... if we get more than just burned...?" When Monty only looked at her, oblivious, she added, "If we get fired. That's not a whole lot of compensation for getting fired."

Monty ripped off several more bills, moved closer to her, and offered them out. He leaned in even closer to her and asked almost in a whisper, "And what if you don't get fired...?"

She smiled broadly as she took the money, allowing her fingers to play suggestively across his hand. "Well ... then I guess we'll have to come back and ... compensate you..."

She looked back over her shoulder to her friend. Monty followed her eyes and found the woman eying him with a tight grin. "Only fair."

Monty watched the two women hurry back into the house to resume their duties. He laughed one more time, then pulled out his phone and pressed a button. After a moment, he asked, "So ... how we doing?"



Out at the front of the house, Gloria was supervising a pair of Valets and greeting guests as they arrived. The crowd was diverse, including Monty's friends and business associates from The City, Brickerwood locals from the Major and most of the City Councilors down to the local laborers who'd worked on the house as long ago as five years ago, and people that the real estate agent wasn't able to decide belonged to either group.

She tapped the ear piece hidden by her huge black curls, answering, "Yes...?

She listened to her employer's question, responding, "We're doing fine, Mister Montgomery, but you're guests are asking for you ... Yes ... Yes, I understand, but-- Yes, I will tell them, thirty minutes."

She listened another moment, rolled her eyes, then quickly looked about to ensure he wasn't somewhere near, spying on her. "No sir, they aren't her yet." She shook her head. Monty wasn't really asking whether the Townsend family had arrived; he was asking whether Emily Townsend had arrived. "Yes sir, I'll inform you as soon as-- Yes, sir ... you'll be the first one I call."

She reached up and ended the call, thinking, Who the hell else would I call...?

Tommy Taylor arrived early, far too early, showing up at the Montgomery Estate at just before eight, despite the fact that he'd been told to be there at nine sharp. He found only the caterers, party organizers, party tent installers, and the real estate lady Gloria, who seemed to be running the whole show, with one hand waving around a clip board while the other was constantly reaching up to tap at the phone thingy wrapped around her ear.

She caught sight of Tommy and waved him over anxiously. He hesitated, reaching into his pocket and feeling the lingerie price tags he'd hoarded away for some unexplainable reason. Oh, wait, he knew why he'd kept them: they were from sexy panties and other girly things that Emmy Townsend would be wearing tonight ... and, depressingly enough, these tags were the closest he'd ever get to those unmentionables ... ever!

When Tommy finally joined the woman nearer the house, she whipped out a twenty dollar bill and excitedly commanded, "Be a good boy. I'm missing a couple of caterers ... Find them!"

Tommy took the twenty, watched her hurry away, and shrugged. He had no frickin' idea what she was asking him to do. He pocketed the bill and wandered into the house. It had changed quite a bit over the years. His father had made some small sales to the Contractors building and furnishing the Estate, and Tommy had made many of the deliveries. He'd even made enough money to repair an old motor scooter by acting as Apprentice to one of the Framing guys for a few days. Later, he'd crawled under the house to shoo away a family of raccoons.

But this was the first time he'd been here in ... oh, maybe two years. He'd always wondered why the house had never been occupied by its owners. He didn't understand the housing crunch that had sent the country -- hell, the whole world -- into what they called The Great Recession. He'd wrongly assumed that that had had something to do with it. In reality, of course, Joseph Montgomery had simply been to busy having too much fun every where else in the world to bother with his little weekend home.

Tommy set about searching for the lost caterers, asking two or three people about them -- literally quizzing, "Have you seen the missing caterers?", and of course getting confused looks -- before he smiled to himself and said, "Fine, I tried".

He spent the next hour just wandering the place, acting as if he belonged and, when necessary, moving quickly to keep the hell out of the way of rushing workers. Suddenly, Gloria was there, standing in a doorway ranting on her hidden ear phone again and scanning the entry foyer to the house; her eyes were scanning all about, and Tommy feared she was either still looking for the supposedly missing caterers ... or for him, wondering why he hadn't found them and reported back to her.

He backed into a hall, turned, and hurried down it. There were people every where ... except in one small alcove. He stepped into it, only to hear the woman call his name. Quickly, he spun and rushed through a closed door, down another hall and burst through another door to find...

The man was standing near the end of a massive bed, holding a pair of boxers in each hand ... stark ass naked. He was like Conan -- the Barbarian, not the talk show host -- with muscles bulging every where, even in places where the skinny country boy didn't know men had muscles.

As the man turned toward him, a mildly surprised expression on his face, Tommy's gaze dropped unconsciously. Even his dick is muscular, he thought, feeling his face flooding with blood. He spun quickly to leave, running into the edge of the door and bouncing back a bit as the door itself slammed shut.

"Hey, son," the man said behind him. "Chill ... relax ... what ever you kids are calling it today."

Tommy steadied himself and half turned back to the man, not looking directly at him. It was ... so fucking embarrassing! "Sorry, sir ... I, uh ... I didn't know anyone ... I ... I was looking for--"

"Thomas Taylor," the man said knowingly.

Tommy looked to the man quickly, then looking away again just as quickly; he just couldn't bring himself to make eye contact with an old man who was naked.

"Yes, sir ... I'm ... I'm Tommy Taylor." Suddenly, his brain caught up with him and he said, "You're Mister Montgomery. I'm so, so sorry to barge in like this, sir. I didn't--"

"Relax, Tommy," Monty commanded again. Out of the corner of his eye, Tommy saw Monty turn and face him directly, crossing his arms over his sculpted chest. "What can I do for you, son."

Tommy wanted to say Put on some underwear and hide that thing, oh my god!. He half glanced at Monty, then answered, "Nothing, sir."

"Nothing...?" Monty began closing slowly on Tommy, saying confidently, "Oh, Tommy ... I've never met anyone that I couldn't do some thing for."

Tommy realized he was trembling, but he didn't know why ... not specifically, anyway. He'd burst in on the party's Host -- the property owner, and likely the richest man in Brickerwood, even if he didn't really live in Brickerwood -- while he was getting dressed for his house warming. That was the reason, of course. Wasn't it...?

Tommy just couldn't get past the fact that he wanted to look at Monty's naked body! Oh, he had no homosexual leanings, not that he had anything against gay guys. Tommy may have lived out in the sticks, the boondocks, the woods ... but he wasn't some red neck gay-bashing conservative skin head, or what ever you called people who didn't like men who liked other men.

No, it wasn't that at all: Tommy was simply impressed! This guy, Monty, was amazing, and Tommy ... well, he wanted to look at him because he, himself, had always been such a skin and bones type and hated it with a passion.

"I'm looking for the caterers," Tommy said suddenly, searching for something to break the tension.

Monty was standing just a few feet away, watching Tommy with an intense stare. "Well, I would imagine they're in the kitchen ... wouldn't you?"

"No, sir ... I mean, yes sir. But ... I'm looking for the missing caterers."

Out of the corner of his eye, Tommy saw Monty's mouth widen in a toothy smile. "Oh... those caterers."

Monty turned and returned toward his bed, and as he did, Tommy looked at him, studying the man's back, legs ... buttocks. He wondered whether getting to look like that was just about putting in the time and effort, or whether having Monty's money was the difference. It's easy to work out all day if you don't have to work in a hardware store all day.

"Don't worry about the caterers, Tommy," Monty told him, slipping on a pair of boxers and heading for a huge walk in closet. "They ... they have been located and are back to work."

"Yes, sir," was all Tommy could think to say.

"You worked on my house, didn't you?" Monty called from deep inside the closet. "That's where I know you from...?"

"Yes, sir," Tommy answered, wondering how the hell this man who had contacts all over the world could have remembered him after having met him one time when he was only 13 years old. "I helped the contractors--"

"Do you know Jack Townsend?" Monty interrupted, adding quickly, "Jackie Townsend, it might be."

"Yes, sir. She graduated already, but I go to school with her sister."

Monty moved back into view, half dressed, with a slight smirk on his face. "Emily Townsend...?"

Tommy tried to conceal his own smirk. She was going to be here tonight, at this party, at the same party as him. The last party he remembered the pair of them being at together was the school Hallowe'en party last year, and even then he'd only spoken a couple of dozen words with her before what he called the cool guys had lured her away for games and contests that Tommy himself hadn't been interested in ... or, at least, interested in embarrassing him at.

"Yes, sir. Emmy and I go to school together." He realized he'd repeated himself, but Monty hadn't seemed to notice as he returned to the closet to continue dressing. A long moment passed. "Should ... should I leave, Mister Montgomery?"

"No," Monty said quickly, hesitating before exiting the closet. He was dressed in a muscle shirt and jeans, far more causally than Tommy would have expected of a party host with a closet bigger than Tommy's entire bedroom. "I want to talk to you about the Townsend family. I'm ... considering hiring them for some work about the estate, and I'd like to know a little more about them."

Tommy was a bit perplexed by the request. Sure, he knew the Townsends well, but if Monty wanted to hire any or all of them, wouldn't it have been more appropriate to simply interview them, or have one of his cronies interview them? "I ... don't know if I'm really the one--"

"There might be a job in it for you, too, Tommy," Monty cut in. Tommy looked at the man's expression; he was being bought, he knew, but he wasn't sure whether he should be offended by the idea and without extra cash, or tickled by the idea and able to buy gas for his newly reconditioned scooter. "I pay well."

Tommy contemplated for a moment -- a short moment -- and answered with a smile, "Yes, Mister Montgomery. What do you want to know?"

Blair and Emily

Blair had wondered where her sisters have been all day; they were never this busy. She was usually the one with all the plans. She sat in her room, naked, on her bed, all day contemplating about whether or not she should attend the party this evening. She'd run into her father once today, but decided to give him some privacy with the hot little piece of ass she saw downstairs with him; so she'd kept to herself most of the day, waiting for her sisters to return home. She thought about the estate, and what kind of people would be at the party. That fellow down by the swimming pond sure was good looking, Monty, I think his name was she thought to herself. I bet he'll have lots of rich handsome friends, and I bet one of them would be lonely enough to spend some time with me ... it has been a while her mind trailed off, as did her hands, thinking about the last time she'd been with a man.

Though only a few weeks ago, Blair was used to having a man almost every night. She wasn't afraid of her sexuality; she embraced it. Being 25, and the oldest of the Townsend girls, Blair had the most experience with men. She knew how to flirt, how to talk, how to even look at a man and get what she wanted. Blair was good in that sense, which is why Emily looked up to her so much.

Blair had a great relationship with her sisters, but Jack and Emmy were always much closer to each other than either of them were to Blair. They were closer in age, and Jack had that whole protective quality thing going that Blair didn't. Blair was carefree; she didn't care what Emmy wanted to do. Of course she still looked out for her baby sister, hell she even looked out for Jack, but she wanted them to live their own lives and learn from their own experiences and mistakes. That's something Jack hadn't been able to get completely through her head yet. However, Blair did give her credit, she was trying her best with Emmy. The girl was just so damned innocent and naive, it was hard to give her a little a slack, and Blair understood that.

As Blair remembered her last sexual encounter with a man she'd been seeing from the city, her hands trailed down her body. They ran lightly over her stomach, over her round, curvy hips, and to her inner thighs. Her thoughts were interrupted by a distraught Emily barging in her door. She let out a sigh and sat up, not bothering to act embarrassed, or try to make an excuse for what her sister had just walked in on.

"B, gross! Get dressed," Emily said with childlike disgust on her face. Blair laughed and pulled an oversized shirt over her head.

"What's up Em? Why'd you come barging in here?" Blair asked, her eyebrows creasing at the confused look on her sisters face. She put her hands around Emily and guided her to sit on the bed. They sat indian style, facing each other, and Emily placed a bag from Brickerwood Hardware in between them.

"Ooohhhkay. What's in the bag?" Blair asked, not following where her sister was going. Emily cleared her throat, shifting uncomfortably before dumping the bag onto the bed. Blair's eyes widened at seeing the thongs falls from the bag. She began sorting through the bras and panties, and was even more surprised when she found a garter and a pair of nylons.

"Emily Townsend where in the hell did you get your hands on these?" she demanded in a harsher tone than she had meant.

"I.. I don't even know what they are Blair! Some lady at the store stuffed them in my bag ... She .. All she said was that 'we are paying for this,' and then shoved me out the door," Emily babbled in a nervous fit. When she'd come home and opened the bag, she had no idea what to do with any of it. She knew she couldn't go to Jack for help because she'd just end her and cancel the whole night. She knew that Blair would be honest with her, help her, show her and tell her what these things were without treating her like a child. Blair had always treated Emily as more of an adult than she was, and that's why Emily loved her.

"Is that all she said Em, nothing else?" she asked. Emily thought long and hard, replaying the scene in her head.

"Oh .. she .. she did say to go home and make myself pretty. She said Mr. Montgomery was looking forward to spending some time with me," she said proudly, with a smile on her face. She was thrilled that Mr. Montgomery would want to spend time alone with her, and not one of her other sisters.

Blair's wheels in her head were turning, and when Emily mentioned Monty, it clicked. He had sent that woman, whoever she was, to send Emmy home with things because he wanted her to wear them to the party tonight. He was interested in her baby sister. Blair couldn't help but laugh.

"Oh Emmy, you're so clueless," she said, perhaps a little meaner than she needed to. Emily scowled, and frowned at her sister.

"It's not my fault Blair!" she shouted. "You and Jack keep me all locked up! You won't let me do anything. I'm lucky Jack's even letting me go to this party tonight! She won't even let me spend time alone with Mr. Montogomery. She thinks he's a bad guy for some reason. But all he's done is be nice to us. He just wants to be friendly!" She grew angrier as she continued to yell at her eldest sister, and Blair nonchalant attitude only made her more angry.

"Emmy, calm down," Blair said. "I'm not going to stop you from doing anything." She had to stop herself from laughing. Her little sister was no naive; it was kind of cute. But Blair was jealous of her sister's innocence, a little bitter at times even. Blair's innocence was ripped from her all too early, but that's a story for a different time.

She didn't want her sister to get hurt, but she had to learn sooner or later. Emily couldn't just keep walking through life thinking that everyone she meets has good intentions. Blair saw this as a good opportunity to do just that. Of course she wouldn't intentionally hurt her littler sister, but she could let her have her fun with Monty, let it go just enough for Emily to see what his real intentions were, and then rip her away from him before it went too far. A perfect plan, she thought to herself.

"Emmy, let me tell you what these are. Mr. Montgomery sent that woman to give you these; he wants you to wear them tonight. This here is a garter. You put it on over your panties and clip it to hold up your stockings. Your dress should be long enough to cover it, but if not, well, that adds a little sex appeal."

Sex appeal? Emily had never thought about herself as being sexy. But she liked the idea of wearing these things that Mr. Montgomery had picked out. She wanted to make him happy after all. She wanted to impress him so that they could be friends, and he could tell her about his amazing life he lived.

"Will you help me Blair?" Emily asked. "If Mr. Montgomery wants me to wear these things, well .. I want to make a good impression. I .. I want him to like me," Emily spoke softly, and slowly. Her sister could see her vulnerability, and for a moment Blair felt a little bad for the girl; but she knew it had to be done, while Emmy was still close, and she could keep an eye on her.

"Of course Emmy. Go get your dress. We'll get ready for the party," Blair smiled, leaning in and pulling her sister close for a hug.

"Thanks B, you're the best!" Emily exclaimed, squeezing her sister tight before running from the room to grab the dress.

Monty and Tommy:

The party was picking up. Guests were arriving every few minutes; at last check there were over a hundred people already present, dancing in the main foyer to a DJ brought in from The City, snacking at the buffet that lined all four walls of the main dining room, swimming in the heated pool or jazuzzi, or simply milling about, chit-chatting, gossiping, and -- of course -- flirting with any person of the opposite, or even same sex with whom a "connection" might be likely, either tonight or in the near future.

Monty had assured Gloria that he'd be out to greet his guests by now. But his talk with the boy, Tommy, had been ... disappointing, and now he found himself rethinking his plans for Emily Townsend.

"Mister Montgomery...?"

Monty turned away from the window looking out upon the deck to find the real estate agent in the doorway with an annoyed expression filling her face. "Yes?"

She gave him an expectant gesture. "You were saying...?"

"Yes ... sorry." He snatched up his sports coat and headed for the door asking, "Are they here yet?"

"The Townsends?" Gloria knew very well who he meant yet asked for clarification anyway. "I'm not sure sir. I've been here with you for the last ten minutes, instead of out there doing--"

"Yes, yes," he interrupted with a dismissive tone. "Find out whether they are here."

"And ... if they are...?" She hesitated a moment, then asked, "If she is here...?"

He donned the jacket and turned to her with a serious expression. "Keep her busy." He leaned a bit closer, looking her directly in the eyes and added, "And keep her away from me."

She watched in silence as he headed for his dresser, to gather his pocket things. It didn't make any sense. He'd spent nearly a thousand dollars on the youngest Townsend girl, buying her a very fashionable dress, a vast assortment of intimate apparels, and a dozen pairs of shoes, which Gloria had had delivered to the family's home just before the family was preparing to head out. And now, he didn't want her anywhere near him...? It ... it just didn't make sense!

But, Gloria worked for him, so that was the way it would be. Of course, there was one question she didn't have a good answer for. "Mister Montgomery ... how, exactly, do I keep Emily Townsend away from you? I mean, without making it appear as if I am doing so. She's going to be hurt ... offended, possibly."

Monty turned again, contemplating as he stared at her. He let his eyes walk over her for a moment. She raised a questioning eyebrow and cocked her head a bit. It wasn't the first time he'd ogled the attractive, full-bodied professional woman, and he already knew that his looks and money weren't going to ever get her out of her clothes and into his bed. But, that didn't mean he couldn't look; nor did it mean that he couldn't at least let her know that he appreciated her attractiveness.

"Use the boy," he answered.

"The boy...?"

"Yes. Tommy. Tommy Taylor ... you know who I mean, yes?"

"Yes, sir," she answered, recalling how the young man had already helped her out twice just this day. "Use him how...?"

"Pay him, of course," Monty said in a matter-of-fact tone. "Make it his job to keep Emily entertained tonight. Dance with her, talk with her ... take her for a swim, I don't care." Monty turned back to his dresser, picked up a set of keys, and tossed them toward the woman who snatched them out of the air with skill. "Tell him to take her for a drive."

Gloria looked at the keys; there was a Ferrari logo on the alarm fob. She smiled in surprise. "You understand that he's barely 18 years old, yes?"

Monty clenched his jaws at the topic of age and glared at the woman. He tried to contain his anger when he spoke, but his response still came out with a growling tone, "Yes ... I'm aware of that." He gave the woman a dismissive wave and asked, "Are we done here?"

"Yes, Mister Montgomery," she answered, shaking the keys before her, adding as she left, "I'll take care of it."

Alone, Monty took another long moment at the window, looking out at the guests enjoying the pool, jacuzzi, and surrounding deck facilities. There were a great many beautiful women out there; some he knew intimately already, some he simply knew by name, and others he was ogling for the first time. He doubted very much that he would end this night without at least one of them in his bed.

But his mindset, of conquering the Townsend Girls, was still in the fore of his mind. He wouldn't be having Emily tonight; the logical answer, of course, was Blair. Jack didn't much care for Monty, although he thought that with time -- and a considerable amount of bribery, in the form of financial assistance to the Townsend Farm -- he might be able to warm that cold heart.

So, the course was clear. Monty smiled with determination, and pushed open the patio door. He hollered out to the crowd as he surged out into it, shaking mens' hands and kissing womens' cheeks, "Are we having fun yet?"

Pete had refused Jack's offer to tackle the remaining farm chores and instead launched into them with her, side by side. They skipped what could be skipped, finished what needed to be finished and by the time the shadows began lengthening across the acreage, they were each inside, each now preparing for the Montgomery House Warming.

Getting ready for Pete was easy; he only had one formal suit, one casual sports jacket, and a pair each of casual slacks and "dress up" Levi's jeans. It was just a matter of eenie-meenie, plus a shave and a quick comb through his hair, and he was ready.

The girls, however, were a different story. Since returning to the house, the laughter and loud conversation hadn't ended. It seemed to be mostly Blair and Emmy at first, with lots of giggles and, especially from his youngest, surprised exclamations; oh my god ... really? ... it's so tiny! ... and other such things that Pete didn't even want to know about.

Being a single father -- widower, to be more specific -- of three girls had been a test for Peter Townsend. His mother had come to live with them immediately after his wife's passing, but she had been in poor health herself, and soon they found themselves caring for her until finally she, too, passed.

The girls had always been willing to help on the farm, which of course was the only reason the four of them were still here at all. Each of them had what Pete called their area of expertise: Emmy had cared for the younger and smaller animals, in love with the calves, goats, and chickens like all young children seemed to be; and Blair had been side by side with Pete in the plantings and harvests both, her mind always set firmly on the next task at hand and how best to achieve it; and Jack had been the glue that kept it all together, seemingly able to manage a dozen tasks, errands, and chores at once.

In the beginning, they'd done remarkably well, just a man and his three daughters. Then ... came boys. Pete had, of course, known that he was going to have to deal with this issue eventually.

Each of the girls had their own relationship with the opposite sex. Emily, the youngest, was cute and sweet and had lots of male admirers, but to Pete's knowledge had never had a boy friend, per se. She went to the school dances, flirted with the boys at the Market, and twice had throw slumber parties, at which the boys were allowed to stay until 9pm, at which point Pete -- and usually one or more other parents, assisting with the fun -- ran them off and back home for the night. But, as far as he knew, Emmy was still ... well, he hated to even think of a word to describe it, but untouched and pure came to him mind when he really thought about it.

Jack was a little the same, a little different. She'd been popular with the boys in high school, too; a girl that pretty and that personable wasn't often seen without at least one boy hanging closely about.

But then, something happened. Pete noticed a sudden change in her, coinciding with a trip she'd taken to The City with an older cousin from out of state.

Jake had never discussed it with him, and while Pete should have done the fatherly thing and demanded that she open up to him, giving her a shoulder to cry on, he couldn't bring himself to inquire. He was fairly certain that she had been ... well, violated, to some degree or another. By the time he'd finally gotten up the courage and strength to ask her about it, she had thrown herself into the farm work and, seemingly, given up on boys ... and it was too late for Pete to make a difference, he feared.

And if there could be another story, it was Blair. She'd been 19 when Melanie had died, and while he hadn't known it at the time, she'd already been "involved" with boys, though Pete didn't today know to what extent. Her mother's passing had been hard on her, as it had been on each of the girls; Pete often wondered whether Blair's promiscuity had been a result of his wife's passing, or whether the girl simply liked boys ... a lot!

Pete hadn't bothered having the talk with his eldest daughter. His wife surely had done that while she was still alive. After he caught her with a boy in the barn once, he'd asked her quite simply, "Are you taking precautions?" Blair hadn't wanted to talk about it, and Pete -- red faced and trembling nervously -- had let it go.

A few months after that, while his younger daughters were away at the market, Pete walked in on Blair, mounted atop his tractor mechanic in his living room recliner. The girl looked right at him and continued on, not missing a stroke. Horrified, Pete had back out ... then stopped around the corner, his hand on the front of his work jeans, listening to his daughter explode in ecstasy.

After that, a barrier had been torn down. Blair frequently put herself on display about the house and property, walking about topless in cut off shorts that gripped tightly to her ass, skinny dipping in The Hole when her father was sitting in the nearby tree swing reading a book, or making dinner and doing the indoor chores in her underwear.

Pete wanted to ask her reasons for this behavior but each time found himself unable to do so. On one hand, it was a sort of freedom of expression, and he'd always told his girls to speak their minds and make their feelings known. On the other hand, the lonely farmer simply enjoyed seeing that beautiful, sexy body, even if it was his own daughter. Oh, he knew he would never do anything with, or to Blair. That was just wrong! But, seeing her like that stirred things within him, and he didn't want that to end.

Tonight had been no different ... although, it got close to being so.


Earlier:

Pete took a break from chores and began picking through his closet. He'd finally picked what he wanted to wear, but couldn't find the white shirt Jack had bought him for Old Man Dallas' funeral. He made his way up stairs to ask Blair if she'd washed and hung it -- and through the crack of her door saw her laying on her bed, naked ... hands gently roaming over her skin.

Pete froze. He knew he shouldn't be watching this. Oh, sure, he watched Blair and her friends skinny dip in The Pool. He'd even slipped out to the Filbert orchard once to watch the Phillips Boy pounding Blair from behind over the hood of his father's Cadillac.

But this ... this was different. Blair had a true expectation of privacy here, in her own room, with -- she obviously presumed -- no one in the house but her father, who was supposed to be downstairs getting ready for a party. This ... this was a true invasion, Pete told himself ... as, with great interest, he watched Blair's hands caress their ways down to her thighs, between them, over the triangular patch of trimmed hair, across her flat belly--

Pete leaned forward a bit, lifting his heel, intending on stepping forward ... of pushing the door open ... of entering Blair's room. He'd worked it out in his mind in a matter of seconds: he would act surprised, she would act surprised, she would make an excuse, he would tell her nothing was wrong with pleasing yourself, she would say she needed satisfaction, he would ask is there anything he could do to help her be happy, she would hold a hand out to him, asking her father to comfort her, he would go to her, they would hug, hands would wander, the heat would rise, she would strip him, he would slip between her opened thighs, and they would make passionate love ... finally!

He cursed himself! You can't do this, you fucking idiot! It was fantasy, of course; he would open the door, she would scream in shock, he would turn in embarrassment, apologizing, she would sprint for her closet and robe and grill him about knocking.

But, he couldn't stop watching her, her hands again caressing their way down to between her thighs, remaining there this time as her knees rose to open herself up.

A thud sent Pete's heart into his throat. He backed away quickly, thinking consciously enough to avoid the squeaky floor boards as he hurried to the second floor bathroom. As he peaked out, Emily rushed up the stairs and into Blair's room, carrying a shopping bag from Brickerwood Hardware and Dry Goods; her party clothes, Pete assumed.

"B, gross!" his youngest daughter called out. "Get dressed."

Pete listened but could hear no more of their conversation. He heard footsteps down stairs as well -- Jack -- and made his way down the back stairs to the porch and quickly to his room again.

Jackie 'Jack' - The Middle Daugther

Jack had not been able to get her father to relax. But, still, she had enjoyed his help. The girl had fixed the tractor, mended the fence, took on the door with the strength of superman, among other jobs. By the end, she was aching pleasantly from the hard work. Ah, it was nice to live on the farm. It was… heavenly actually. She thought about it for a moment. Better than sex. The girl knew of Blair’s… love life. And she didn’t judge her. But they probably wouldn’t agree that work was better than sex. Not that it mattered anyway.

She shook her head and stretched out her arms, hating the fact the only thing ‘formal’ in her closet was an eighth grade dress… that probably was too tight, too small and too short. She had obviously grown since then. The redhead shrugged mentally before returning her attention with playing with Emily’s goat before she went back inside. Holding it gently by the front legs, she raised it and smiled as it ‘baaed’ softly.

“Yes, yes you are,” she cooed at the small male. “You’re a good boy.” Putting him down, she stood and wiped her hands on her bottom as she walked toward the back. Jack’s dogs were generally situated at the back of house, due to their vicious nature. Her father and sisters were an exception. Strangely enough, they also took a liking to Tommy Taylor. The girl had thought it was endearing.

Reaching her hand toward the door, she felt something was wrong and turned around. The dogs were nowhere to be seen. She frowned. Walking back down the steps, she raised her eyebrow and put her fingers to her lips. Taking a deep breath… she whistled loudly. Waiting for sounds of life, she didn’t hear a bulky figure carefully crawl behind her, the body low to the ground, swaying side to side, as if ready for a—

“Darth Vader, if you so much as THINK about pouncing, I will take away all of your bones,” Jack called out, knowing her dogs. And after getting body slammed by the massive dog… one learned said dog’s habits.

“AROO!” Darth protested, looking as though as something had taken away his favorite treat. “Arooooo.”

Jack turned around and looked as the huge black dog, then crouched out opening her arms. “Sorry Darth, but you know, I have to go somewhere tonight. It’s for Emily and I promised I’d let her go,” she smiled as the dog nuzzled her shoulder. Before barking. “Yes, yes, it’s that man you saw earlier. You have my FULL permission to bite his crotch off. Unless… when I think of something, I’ll let you know. Now, go back to Emma Frost. Now doubt she’s missing you.” Ruffling his head, she stood up once more and ran up the steps.

Humming softly, she first stopped at the kitchen to wash her hands before walking up the stairs loudly She really needed to take a nice long shower, wondering how she was going to get the awful smell off her skin. Jack muttered curses under her breath as the bathroom door was jammed. Carefully placing her shoulder against the wood, she pulled back and slammed into it. A loud thud echoed as her body hit the small carpet. Turning into her back, her legs spread and she moaned in pain. “Oh, that’s done a number on my back.”

Using the counter as a beam, she pulled herself up and kicked the door close. “JACK IN THE SHOWER. BLAIR ONLY PLEASE!” she called out. What did that mean? No one but Blair enter here or suffer her wrath. Next time it would be Emily and once in a while, it would be her father. But not as much. She didn’t want to disturb him.

Turning the shower so it spewed out cold water (a freezing money saving method), she hoped in and vigorously scrubbed herself. She couldn’t have been in there for more than ten minutes, but her lips started to turn purple and her skin was a shiny red. Jack’s natural body temperature was much lower than the average 98.7 degrees. It meant, for her at least, she got colder easily, but it took her longer to actually get warm. Still, by the time they got to The Estate, she would be as right as rain.

Wrapping the towel firmly around her, she peaked out the door and looked both ways before running toward her room. She bypassed Blair’s, noting Emmy was in there and barreled into hers. Letting the towel fall to the ground, she walked over to her dresser, choosing out a bra and underwear that wouldn’t be noticed under the black dress.

Ah yes, the dress. Jack turned her closet, eyes portraying a future doom she did not want come too. Inching slowly closer, she managed to put on her bra. Her underwear was black, and looked more like boy shorts—which worked with her since the dress would probably ride up. Slowly opening the closet, she pulled out the dress.

Pressing it against her cold body, she looked herself in the mirror. Maybe it wouldn’t be too bad. After all, Mister Taylor said he would come. A slight blush danced across her face as she thought of him. Yeah, she’d wear the dress for him… ignoring the fact it was the only dress. Looking at her shoes, she sighed, knowing all she had was combat boots, a pair of rain boots and… the best thing she got—low top black converse. She bent down, and pulled them out. Well, better than nothing.

Later in the Bedroom​

Jack looked at the short dress and pulled it down. Yeah, she was so wearing her long sweater. Something that actually reached her mid thigh. Sure it would hide the dress and most of her upper body, but she’d feel a lot more comfortable. Sneaking through the back would be best. She didn’t want to deal with the real estate agent. Calling Mrs. Taylor to confirm the days… the woman had told her about a mega bitch. Jack smiled, oh, she wished she could’ve been there.

Looking at herself once more in the mirror, she let out a sigh. Well, at least she wasn’t that… plain. Her mind danced over to Emily. She wouldn’t hover this time around. She’d keep an eye on the girl, but it was really time that Emily was left on her own. With eye seeing distance of course. Jack would do her best to keep the real sharks away from the girl. But little babies, well, it would be a good lesson for Emmy.

Jack let out a deep sigh. Oh, it was literally killing her. KILLING her. She wished there was a way that Emily could stay a cute little five year old. Walking out of the room, she wondered how everyone was doing. Mainly, she wanted to see her father. A gut feeling told her he looked… well, he would probably dress to impress. A certain blonde no doubt.

She walked down the hall and sat on the top steps, putting her head in her hands, as her feet were on two different steps. Oh, could the night just fast forward? On that note, she made sure to tie Darth Vader to his chain. Didn't need the critter to jump into the pool. The dog sure loved the water.

Emily had been surprised when her oldest sister encouraged her to wear the things Mr. Montgomery had picked out. Granted, Emily had no idea what she was wearing, and the thong Blair had called it, felt like she had a constant wedgie. But Blair assured her that it would feel more comfortable the longer she had it on, and that Mr. Montgomery would love it.

Emily hadn't realized until that moment how much she wanted Monty to like her. Emily had never cared about boys liking her. or thinking she was sexy. But perhaps Monty would be different. Maybe he would actually like Emmy; think she was beautiful and fall in love with her. Psh, don't I wish Emily thought to herself. Monty could have any girl in the world, he wouldn't want her. But a girl could dream right? And tonight, Emily felt beautiful, sexy even. She was ready to go to this party and have a wonderful time. Maybe Monty would even dance with her; that would be a dream come true.

Emily had developed a sort of 'school girl crush' on Monty. Yes she'd only knew him less than 24 hours, but she'd already fallen in love with his luxurious life-style and fancy things. Emily wasn't a shallow girl, and she knew that behind all his glitz Monty was a real person; that's why she wanted to get to know him. She hoped that they could be friends, maybe even more ... but she pushed that thought out of her head. Emily had never had lustful thoughts about a man before. It was a feeling unknown to her.

Blair had helped her dress. She put on one of the black thongs she'd found in the bag, along with a black laced bra that cupped breasts perfectly, making them look larger than they were. She put the garter and clipped them to the stockings, and stepped into the dress Jack had bought her. She ran a brush through her hair; she didn't need to do much to make it look beautiful. And Blair simply brushed a few strokes of blush to make her cheeks pop. Emily's beauty was apparent; she didn't need all the superficial stuff.

"You look stunning," Blair said, admiring her sister's innocent beauty. Emily blushed and thanked her.

"Get dressed B! We're gonna be late!" Emily said, playfully pushing Blair towards her closet. "Where the hell is Jack anyways?"

Blair shrugged and pulled out a simple red halter dress from her closet that one of her past lovers had purchased for her. It was very low cut and accentuated all of her curves. Now Blair was sexy. Next to her Emily felt like chopped liver.

"You're so easily breath taking B. I wish I could be more like you," Emily said as she brushed her sisters hair for her. Blair sat at her vanity, she could see Emily standing behind her. She allowed Emily to fix her hair, like she often did when they were kids. Blair looked Emily in the eyes through the mirror.

"Emily, you don't want to be like me. You're beautiful. You're innocent, pure. I'm damaged goods. Any smart guy would choose you any day. You're the type of girl someone would want to keep around. I'm the type of girl used for a cheap thrill who gets tossed to the side."

It saddened Emily that her sister thought of herself in that way. She didn't know what to say, so she simply hugged her sister and finished her hair. Pulling it up in a loose ponytail, allowing some of her curls to fall around her face.

"I love you B," she said, stepping into her shoes. "Let's go before we're late. I guess Jackie will just meet us there."

When the girls arrived at the party, people were everywhere. Emily didn't recognize anyone, and she was thankful she had Blair for a safety net. Emily scanned the crowd for Monty, but she didn't see him. She did however see Tommy, and she flashed him a smile.

Before she had the chance to go over to him and say hello, she was distracted by the song the DJ started playing.

"Omg B! Do you hear this song? Doesn't the music sound amazing!" Emily yelled over the loud music and she began moving her body. "Come on B! Please come dance with me?" she asked, giving her sister her best pouty lip. (She was good at that even at her age.)

She pulled Blair by the arm to the dance floor, her hips shaking the whole way there. Emily was the one who was blessed with rhythm in the family. She liked to think she got it from her mother; they always loved to dance around the house when they were kids.

Watching Emily lead her to the dance floor, Blair thought of how much Emily reminded her of her mother. Blair was 19 when she'd died, Emily was still young. But watching her now, dance freely, like she didn't have a care in the world, she resembled her mother. That beautiful, free-spirited attitude is what Blair had always admired about her mother, and now about Emily.

"Come on B dance!" Emily laughed, taking her sister by the hands and moving them about. Blair gave in, laughing at herself, and tried to move to the music. She let her little sister help her, the two of them laughing and dancing for what felt like hours.

It was a beautiful sight, the two of them on the dance floor. Blair noticed the looks they'd receive from various onlookers. But she didn't care. For the first time in a long time she was having an amazing time; she was actually enjoying herself.

Evangeline && Jackie

Jackie had actually arrived later than the others, sneaking through the back so no one would notice her. Her hair was pulled back into a ponytail, to keep her face clear from hair. She supposed it was a good thing she was wearing converse a she almost slipped on the wet ground below her. It was also probably a good thing that many decided to keep away from the outside—other than the help, that is. It made sneaking in all the easier. But, it was unfortunate she did not notice the figure she bumped into.

Evangeline.

The older woman was able to save herself from falling and turned around to face the young redhead. She had only gone out because The Cityfolk were grating on her nerves. The assistant couldn’t believe she forgot about how most of them had their head so far out their asses—the woman shook her head. “Hey, Jack, right? You alright there?” the woman didn’t even seem to bother asking why the girl had leaves stuck in her hair—or why she wasn’t going through the front. Instead, Evangeline just took the leaves out and straightened the younger’s hair. A smile danced on her lips. “Didn’t want to draw attention right?”

Jack nodded as she wrapped her arms around herself. “I… I’m late, really. Didn’t want the attention on me—“ she stopped, looking at the woman as though she didn’t trust the woman. “Why are YOU out here? Isn’t the city type in there? Aren’t you his assistant?”

“Haha, it’s not as glorious as it sounds,” she smiled, looking back at the house, only a few feet away. “I only manage Monty’s business life.” She winked. “I also can totally ruin it as well. But, he’s… a somewhat decent guy. I mean, don’t get me wrong or anything—ack, don’t worry about it. He’s not the type to take anyone unwilling. Stupid, yes. Smart and unwilling, not at all. Or at least, as far as I know…” she started to mumble to herself. The blonde woman looked back at the petite redhead.

“I guess, so you gonna tell on me or something?” Jack wondered as the woman rolled her eyes and shook her head.

“I won’t tell if you won’t tell,” she winked and ushered the girl inside. “Don’t worry, if anyone asks why they didn’t see you before—especially Monty—tell them we were together.” Opening the glass door, she pushed Jack. “Enjoy hell kiddo. Enjoy hell.”

Evangeline let out a sigh. Jack would no doubt go down fighting against these City Sharks.



And hell it was. She noticed everyone looking at two dancing females, but was unable to make out who. Gently moving thorugh the small group, she finally realized who it was. Aw, well wasn’t this nice. A smile danced on her lips as she watched her sisters dances together. Wrapping her arms around herself, she watched them, then scanned the room for famailar faces.

She didn’t see Tommy or his father. And on that matter, where was her father? She looked around again but couldn’t find his frame. Letting out another shrug, she ignored the men ogling Emily. If she ignored them, they weren’t here and she wouldn’t have to hit them. Those that looked at Blair… well, Jack got a little jealous. She thought her sister was a classy sort of woman. The type that could… well, she knew how to deal with me. Without using fists. The man who had a chance to love her, would be one of the luckiest ones.

Jack always thought that Blair was one of the strongest people alive. And the coolest. Shaking her head, she waited for them to finish so she could at least let them know that she arrived.

Tommy had stood in a corner, awaiting the arrival of Emily Townsend -- and the rest of her family, too, of course -- for what seemed like an eternity. When an old fart he recognized only as an occasional hardware store customer headed for the dining room buffet, Tommy didn't hesitate to steal the man's chair. He slouched back and struck a pose he thought looked casual, carefree ... and waited ... so nervous and self conscious that his underarms felt like waterfalls.

Suddenly, he was grabbed by the hand and practically jerked up from his seat. The real estate-slash-party organizer-slash-women's fashion expert-slash-whatever else Mister Montgomery paid her to do woman, Gloria, ordered over the music, "Come with me, young man."

Tommy resisted for a moment, but eventually gave in. A moment later, they were standing in a small store room alone. "You are familiar with Emily Townsend ... remember, the young woman from the store this morning."

Tommy wanted to say duh, but restrained himself. "Yes, I know Emmy."

The woman grabbed his hand, turning it palm up, and slapped a hundred dollar bill into it, along with a set of car keys. "You keep her happy tonight. Dance, laugh, chat ... make out in a dark corner, I don't care. But you keep her happy ... and you keep her away from Monty. Comprende?"

Do I look Spanish...? he wanted to shoot back at the gal. "Yes, I understand."

And she was gone.

And Tommy looked down at the cash and keys and thought to himself, No ... I don't understand! He pocketed the items and headed back out to the home's foyer, unsure of just what he'd gotten himself into. He and Monty had had a long talk about Brickerwood, it's citizens, the Townsends, and the girls ... but when it was all over with, he'd had the definite opinion that Monty's interest had been primarily in Emily Townsend alone.

So ... if the man had so much interest in Tommy's school mate, neighbor, and puppy love crush, why was he now directing this woman to direct him to keep her busy and away from Monty? He is ordering this ... isn't he? Tommy wondered. Would this woman be doing this on her own...?

But he didn't have much time to think about it as, yet again, he was grabbed by the hand and pulled forward -- this time by Emmy!

"Dance with us!" she hollered, practically throwing him into her older sister, Blair, who gave him a quick twirl and directed him back toward the younger Townsend. Tommy stood in place for a moment, trying to get a grasp of the situation.

Blair was dancing really close to two men, writhing about like something out of "Dirty Dancing". Tommy was shocked at how erotic the older Townsend could act, particularly with men she'd likely only met in the last few minutes.

But he quickly turned his attention back to Emmy, who was dancing energetically. She was having a ball, laughing and shaking and spinning...

And the only thing going through Tommy's mind was how sexy she looked in the dress he'd helped her pick out ... and how unbelievably impressive her boobs looked in her new, pushup bra!

"Dance, Tommy!" Emmy urged him, grabbing his hand and trying to get him to move his body.

If Tommy had felt uncomfortable before, now he simply felt awkward. He had never been much of a dancer in the first place, and with this city beat -- and the most beautiful girl in school egging him on -- Tommy felt like he could just slither off and hide under a couch some where. He leaned in close to Emmy. "I need to get out of my coat."

He hurried away, not waiting for her response. He returned to his chair, only to find the old fart back, a plate full of unidentifiable snack foods in his lap. Tommy stripped off his jacket and hid it behind the chair. Then, turning back, he drew a deep breath, exhaled, and headed back to Emmy.

Pete had allowed the girls to go ahead of him, giving him a few extra minutes to both check his appearance ... and desperately wait for a farm emergency to allow him to stay home.

But, nothing came about, and he could no longer put off going to the big shindig. It was dark by the time he headed down the trail connecting the two homes; Pete lit the path before him with a Mag-lite and, as he reached the stone wall that separated the wilder, unkempt native grass field and the manicured landscape, he extinguished the powerful light and set it atop a post to be retrieved later.

Pete's hesitation to attend the party had nothing to do with the parties guest -- which would, he presumed, include local folk he didn't care to see and City Folk he didn't care to meet -- or the idea of a crowded party with contemporary dancing music pounding off the walls or even the Host himself, Joseph Montgomery, who -- compared to Peter Townsend -- has more money than God.

No, Pete's hesitation was in seeing Evangeline Juniper again. He'd made a fool of himself that afternoon, telling her point blank that he'd been celibate for a while and wanted with all of his heart for her to end that current without situation. What kind of an idiot ... country bumpkin idiot, no less ... tells that, asks that, of a beautiful, intelligent woman like that...?

And, of course, as he approached the home from the rear in an attempt to avoid seeing her before he had gotten past his initial nervousness, who the hell should be the first person he sees as he steps up onto the patio...

"Evangeline," Pete said, the word almost having to be forced out of his throat. Almost before he'd considered his next words, a growth spurt was beginning in his groin and his hands began trembling noticeably. "How wonderful to see you. You look ... oh ... you look stunning."

"Are you sure you don't want to go, honey?" Tim was quietly hurrying around the bedroom, searching for his keys, wallet, cash, and more. He really needed to start putting all of his pocket stuff in one place again, a habit he'd gotten out of months earlier for some unknown reason. "It'll be fun. I'm sure of it."

From a distant room in the house he wife answered negatively, then went into a long monologue about the bridge club and some woman's mother and a dog that got into the Brickerwood Memorial Gardens and ... what ever! He only caught about every third word, and even at that, his wife was talking too much.

When she finally went silent, he stopped so he could hear her clearly and added with a loving voice, "Are you sure then...? Not coming...?"

"No, dear, not coming."

He clenched and pumped his fist in the air, whispering, "Yes-s-s-s-s..."

Tim Taylor loved his wife dearly, there was no question there. They'd been high school sweethearts and had married just days after graduations, immediately taking over the Brickerwood Hardware and Dry Goods from his elderly grandparents. Six months later, to the dismay of his wife's parents, Tommy was born. They'd had a wonderful life, a happy life, a relatively prosperous life.

But Tim Taylor was one lonely, horny dude -- he and his wife hadn't had carnal relations in over eight years -- and tonight he was going to a party where he was going to do what ever it took to sleep with, or at least make the first step toward doing so, the beautiful, young Jackie Townsend.

In all reality, he doubted very much that anything was going to happen tonight. Seriously, he would have bet the store and his wife's ceramic butterfly collection against it! But, he could dream. Over the years, Jackie had taken over many of the in-town tasks for the Townsend farm, relieving her father of having to constantly hop in the old pickup and drive to this store or that mechanic shop.

Tim saw her at least a couple of times a week, getting a chance to talk to her for a few minutes at least half those times. And before he knew it, he had fallen in love. Or ... at least in lust, he wasn't sure. He was married, to a woman he deeply loved and respected. But ... for who and what she was: his wife, the mother of his son, his partner in the store.

But ... Tim Taylor wasn't more. He wanted a lover, a passionate partner who would remind him of what it meant to be a man again. He was barely 36 and hadn't been fucked since his mid-20s; that just wasn't right!

He donned a jacket, checked himself in the mirror, grimaced, shed and replaced the jacket with another, grimaced yet again, and repeated. Nice. That'll do, he assured himself.

He stopped in the hall, about to ask just one more time if she wanted to come and could hear her ranting away on the telephone. He shrugged: you snooze, you lose.

He was out the door, in the car, down the road, and handing his keys to one of those guys who park your car and steals your change -- valet, he thought, is that right? -- in less than ten minutes. He made his way with purpose through the crowd, politely smiling to the out-of-town strangers and totally ignoring the from-town locals that he didn't want to talk to. He was on a quest: find Jackie Townsend.

When he did, he simply froze in place, staring ... ogling. She was ... unbelievable...

The young redhead wore a dress that, Tim thought, was little more than a second skin. The tiny black piece of cloth did more to reveal than conceal, and despite having on a long cardigan style sweater -- longer than the barely-ass length mini dress -- Tim could see that the girl was being ogled from more directions than just his own.

He began to move toward her, but hesitated as a man, his age and definitely City Folk, stepped up to Jackie and gestured toward the dance floor. When Tim saw Jackie's gaze fall on him, a smile cross her lips, and her hands gesture the man away with deep annoyance ... his heart jumped with excitement and a wide, proud smile spread across his face.

He moved through the crowd to her, stopping a step away to look her up and down. With a tone of great appreciation -- he would immediately wonder did that sound manly or fatherly? -- he told her, "Jackie ... you are ... I don't know what to say except ... you are the most beautiful young woman in this room."

Blair and a tiny bit of Emily

Blair danced with Emmy for what felt like hours. They laughed; Blair showed off her body, deciding that dirty dancing was the only way she wasn't going to look like a fool.

Various men stepped up by the girls to join them in the fun. Men sidled up close to Blair; often she could feel them rubbing their groins against her. She didn't mind it, most of them were good looking, and she knew the majority of them were rich.

Like Emmy, Blair had dreams for the city too. Unlike Emmy, Blair planned to get there by marrying rich. She wanted to find a rich man to take her away to the city; she wanted to be a trophy wife. Yes, this may sound strange, but Blair actually wanted to be a trophy wife. She wanted someone to provide her with the necessary means to make it to the top. She wanted money, and power. She didn't care about love, as long as the sex was mediocre she'd be happy. At least that's what she told herself.

Blair needed to be loved; everyone did. But Blair buried those feelings; she buried them so deep she couldn't resurface them if she'd tried. Yes, she was heartbroken. A boy damaged her, tore her heart to pieces. That's why Blair slept with so many guys. She'd met guys that had actually liked her, but she turned them away because she wanted to hurt them like she'd been hurt.

However, Blair did love sex. The more she had it, the more she loved it. She wasn't ashamed of being known as 'easy.' Sex felt good, Blair liked feeling good, so Blair liked sex.

Blair's thoughts were interrupted by Tommy suddenly being wedged between them. Blair laughed at the boy's obvious nervousness, and danced with him and her sister for a few. Then the boy abruptly disappeared mumbling something about his coat. Blair shrugged it off, but she could see that her sister looked a bit disappointed. She moved in closer, giving her sister that knowing smile.

"You like him don't you!" Blair shouted, baring her perfect white teeth with her wide smile. Little Emmy had a crush; it was so cute.

"I do not! He's just a friend!" she protested, stomping her foot like a child, her face flushing red. They bickered back and forth for a moment until Emily saw Tommy coming back. Blair scanned the crowd and behind Tommy, she saw Jack off by herself.

"I'm gonna go say hey to Jackie, let her know we're here," she smiled at Emily, giving her a wink.

"Tell her I said hi!" Emily added, nodding as Blair walked away, stifling a giggle from her wink.

Blair made her way through the crowd to her sister. "Jack, you actually look nice," she joked, elbowing her sister playfully. "Sorry me and Em took off early. That girl was so damned anxious to get here. I thought she'd have a nervous breakdown if we didn't get here on time," Blair explained, hoping Jack wouldn't be too angry. She also prayed hat she wouldn't notice the stockings or garter Emily was wearing; then she'd know that Blair had helped her sexy it up for tonight. Blair didn't want to argue with her sister at the party, but if she had to she would stand her ground. Although she was the oldest, Blair often feared her younger sister. Jack was tough, she could make a grown man scared. She was not the right kind of girl to make angry.

Emily blushed as Tommy approached for the second time, and she smiled as she tried to get him to dance again. She watched him move awkwardly, and couldn't help but laugh. She was laughing with him though, not at him; she could never intentionally hurt Tommy. He was a great guy, and she felt lucky to be spending time with him tonight.

What are you thinking! He's a boy! Cut it out! she scolded herself. She tried to push the feelings that were gathering in her tummy, the butterflies, but Blair saying it out loud made Emily second guess herself. Did she like Tommy as more than a friend? She didn't know. She never had had strong feelings for a boy ever, and now, in one day, she was feeling them for two{/I]??? It was unbelievable.

Emily cleared her throat uncomfortably and watched Tommy's gaze fall to the floor as a slow song blared throughout the party. Emily smiled, and held out her hand.

"May I have this dance?" she asked in her mock-manly voice, bowing to Tommy. She couldn't hold the pose long before bursting into a fit of laughter. Tommy laughed along with her, and she took a step closer to him. "I .. I can show you," she said, inferring from Tommy's two left feet on the dance floor, that he didn't have much experience.

"Put this hand here," she said, placing his left hand on her hip. "And give me this hand," she instructed, taking his right hand and holding it in front of them. She placed her arm on his shoulder, and helped him to move his feet to the music.

"My parents used to dance like this in the living room," she said, her tone less playful now. "I used to sit at the top of the stairs and watch them." A smile spread across her lips, "they were so happy..." She let the words linger for a moment before swallowing hard, trying to stop herself from crying. She hadn't slow danced with a boy in ages, let alone one she think she might have feelings for.

It was strange, feeling this way now. She'd known Tommy for ages, but she'd never thought of him as more than a friend. Maybe it was everything surrounding them- the music, the fancy home, the way they were dressed. Maybe Emily was getting caught up in the idea of it all, her naivety taking control again. For all she knew Tommy was only being polite, not wanting to reject her. She had no idea if Tommy even liked her. But she liked being with him in this moment, dancing, their bodies close together.

But for some strange reason her mind kept going back to Monty. No matter how many times she pushed his face from her mind, every time she felt the garter press against her thighs, she was flooded with thoughts of him.

Tommy with Emmy


"I can show you," Emmy told him, stepping close and taking his hands, one by one, and positioning them for the slow dance. Tommy followed her lead willingly; anything that brought the two of them closer was fine with him.

But a problem arose quickly, down there; Tommy's heart started pounding and his face flushed red hot. Several times he looked straight down between them, pretending to look at his feet, but in actuality aiming to pull their lower bodies apart for a moment to hide the boner he was packing for Emmy.

As the dance continued, Emmy pulled them back together, then giggled a couple of times. She made playful comments about his dancing or his nervousness, but he feared terribly that she was feeling the evidence of his lust for her instead.

Finally, he couldn't take the pressure anymore. He pulled back suddenly, asking nervously, "Wanna take a walk ... outside ... cool ... it's, it's cooler out there and ... I'm very hot ... and need to take a walk."

He didn't wait for her to respond, instead turning quickly and pushing through the crowd to retrieve the leather coat he'd snagged from his father's closet, unaware that Mister Taylor was probably here tonight as well. Tommy had put the keys Gloria gave him in the jacket's pocket, and he was going to need them if he was going to do as the real estate agent ordered and take the young Townsend girl for a ride.

He slipped the coat on and turned; he couldn't see Emmy, despite moving about and searching the crowd. He looked hard to his left -- and his stomach turned over. Monty was standing amongst a small group of people, talking and laughing animatedly ... and he was in full view of anyone on the dance floor paying attention!

Tommy pushed back into the crowd, desperate to get to Emmy before she saw their host. He wasn't exactly sure what all the hub bub was about concerning Monty and Emmy, but over the course of the day -- particularly after this last conversation with Gloria -- he'd begun formulating a theory:

Monty wanted Emily Townsend ... or ... he had. But something had changed; perhaps he'd found someone most interesting ... or more available ... as in sexually available, as in a sure thing. Tommy had no idea how old Monty was, but he knew how old Emmy was, and he suspected -- hoped, actually -- that she was as pure and inexperienced as he was. Monty couldn't possibly think he'd score with Emily Townsend tonight, could he? Even considering who he was, how rich he was? Would he even waste his time while he was surrounded by so many beautiful women who surely would drop their clothes for him just for the asking?

Or, maybe that wasn't it at all. Maybe Monty had a wife or girl friend who wasn't supposed to be here tonight and showed. What ever it was, Tommy had a good idea that Emmy was expecting to spend some time with the Man from The City ... and Mister Montgomery ... well, he had other plans. So, for Tommy, it wasn't just about protecting Monty from Emmy, but -- far more importantly -- it was about protecting Emmy from Mister Montgomery, specifically being hurt by him when he turned her down.

Emily was having a blast with Tommy- dancing, laughing, talking. They were having an amazing time, that is, until Tommy started acting strange. He wouldn't meet Emily's gaze, he kept looking at his feet, his face turned red, and out of nowhere he stopped dancing, muttering about taking a walk outside.

Before Emily could even respond Tommy took off in the direction he came from before; she assumed to go get his coat. She thought it best to stay in place to wait for him to come back so that he wouldn't lose her.

She folded her hands in front of her and swayed awkwardly from side to side, scanning the crowd. She hadn't seen Monty all night; where could he be? It was his party after all. Just as that thought entered her mind she spotted him.

He was laughing and smiling with a group of unfamiliar people, and Emmy couldn't help but stare at how handsome he looked. She smiled to herself as she began to slowly make her way towards him. She didn't want to interrupt his conversation, but she did want to spend some time with Monty. After all, she did get all dressed up for him.

As she made her way to him, her pace slowed as his eyes met hers. She smiled, blushing, and glanced away for a moment before returning her gaze to his. She approached him, standing only feet away, her eyes locked on his.

"Mr. Montgomery," she nodded, doing a half little curtsy. She smiled and turned to the rest of the group, breaking their eye contact for the first time. "Good evening," she smiled. She spoke clearly, properly; she sounded so mature. Emily knew how to impress people.

The group smiled and nodded, and continued back to their conversation, though a few of the men held their gaze on Emily and her outfit. She turned back to Monty, and took a step closer. "This is an amazing party Mr. Montgomery. It's better than anything I could have imagined." She spoke with her childlike amazement as her eyes glanced around the enormous room they were standing in.

Finally, Emily thought as she stood there smiling at Monty, waiting for him to respond. All thoughts of Tommy long gone from her mind.

Jack and Evangeline intertwined.... again.

Jack had disappeared inside, which left the assistant to herself again. The patio was hers again. well, not really hers, but one could get the picture. She wondered if wearing this dress was okay. Would Pete like? Would he think her differently? How strange one would get when meeting someone who was potentially… what? A stress reliever? A sex toy? No, she didn’t think that was right. In fact, she rather thought Pete Townsend was the type of guy she never dealt with. It was real easy to talk to him. There was this… charm about him. Almost boyish, she could say. It wasn’t refined, but it was still there.

Then again, it could be the country air drugging up her mind. … anything was possible.

Tugging at her dress, she leaned against one the table, watching the party through one of the windows. She could recognize every city slick, she could tell who was the local… in a way, it was slightly discouraging. It appeared the city and the locals didn’t want to mix. Or those that did… had other things in mind. Rolling her eyes, she stretched her arms out, eyes closing. Ack, it happened everywhere, she supposed. Nothing she could do to change it—lest she ruled the world. Even then, it sounded utterly boring. Oh well.

"Evangeline," Pete said. He seemed to pause, before speaking once more. "How wonderful to see you. You look ... oh ... you look stunning."

Evangeline turned to look as she heard her name. A smile broke out on her face and she moved to meet him.”Why thank you. I was hoping you’d like—Hey, I was afraid you’d find some last minute excuse and not come at all,” she gave him a kiss on his cheek, in a greeting. Touching his shoulder lightly, she tilted her head. “You look handsome. I must say though, I’m beginning to miss the man I met earlier.” Winking she took his hand. “Your girls are already inside. Emmy and Blair are defiantly causing up a storm.”

She slowly dragged him behind her. “Don’t look so scared. I made sure that the locals got invited. It should be fun to see those city slicks get a beating,” she stopped and looked at Pete. “Well, if you want, you can always go back. I won’t say a word to anyone.” She moved her hands behind her back, facing him with her eyes baring straight into his.

It was clear he had a choice, but she wanted him to stay. “Besides, I thought your little… speech, was rather endearing. Been a while since anyone was being honest around me,” Evangeline waited for him. “Besides, I told you before, it’s not like I’m gonna say no anyway.”

Evangeline wasn’t the type to really tease. Sometimes it happened, and usually she didn’t notice it. But with Pete… she just couldn’t help it. It was really fun!

“Why thank you. You gave me the dress,” Jack smiled as she saw her sister, giving the female a hug. “Hey, it’s quite alright, I live with her too, ya know. Besides, I had to tie up Darth anyway. He wanted to follow… and you know how he’s like among strangers,” she pulled her sweater close to her, glaring as the strangers came closer to her sister. “And don’t think I didn’t notice the garter. But Emmy’s happy now. Could you please not let her aware anything sexy that Monty buys?” Jack smiled up at Blair. The middle sister rarely got mad at her sisters. Somewhat frustrated, yes. Confused about her own gender, completely. But rarely ever mad at her sisters. She smiled sweetly once more to Blair. “I have a feeling he’s trying to bait her. I… I don’t want her to start crying for him.” He isn’t worth it.

They were the small few she actually liked, loved, and would do anything for. Her father was in that group. Oh, well, would you look at that, only three people. She let out a mental sigh. Jack had lost majority of her friends when she came back from the City. A bitter bitch is what some of them labeled her. Others… well, not meant for such ears. She had nearly put one of them in the hospital.

Turning, she got the eyes of Tim Taylor. A smile blossomed on her face, but unfortunately, a man close by thought it was for him. She looked at the… oh, he could be her father! No, grandfather! She was NOT that desperate. “Hey, buddy, move it. I’m with someone else,” she stated, waving the older man over.

"Jackie ... you are ... I don't know what to say except ... you are the most beautiful young woman in this room."

“Haha, thanks for that,” she smiled. “But Blair got the looks.” Still, the fact that Mister Taylor had told her that made her ego fluff up a bit. It was usually lying dormant, sleeping like a little kitten. Until its territory was being… invaded or someone scratched its stomach. One guess what Tim Taylor did. She looked over and saw her sister and Tommy dancing together. That boy… he looked as though he was smitten with her. But her eyes glanced down to the garter.

Monty. Was. Eight. Feet. Under.

Jack didn’t know why she instantly disliked the man—she really had no idea who he was. All she knew was that he had to had some money to build a place like this—and never visit it. Small fists formed as they were hidden by the sleeves of her sweater. Blair could probably figure out that she was pissed. But as Emily moved out of her eyesight (people were so rude these days!), she had no choice but to let it go. No doubt Tommy would have to deal with her. She had a feeling that he wouldn’t mind it as much. Shrugging, she turned back two both ‘country’ folks.

“Well, do ya’ll know what we’re supposed to do in a place like this? Other than getting treated like a wild horse?” she looked down at her converse and sighed. Well, at least she was wearing COMFORTABLE shoes. Everyone else could just suffer for all she cared. Expect those in her small group. Behind forward slightly, she looked at Blair’s shoes. Then back up at the girl, amazement in her eyes. “You danced in those? You… are forever my highest ranking goddess. You are my herion—oh wait, that doesn’t … heroine. That’s it. Damn words sound alike,” she complimented her sister… in a round about way. Jackie wasn’t the best at giving praise due to the fact that she was rough around the edges.

A man with the boobies, one of her few remaining friends had said. Really, what other girl actually hauled a piece of plywood on their shoulders with no trouble. (Jack wasn’t going to tell them that it was hollow… and they never asked. So, it was all their fault, she always reasoned). That still didn’t tell her why she couldn’t see Emmy anymore. Maybe Tommy took her out? That would be good. Holding back a rather harsh retort toward herself, she looked back at Mister Taylor, looking at how he had dressed. “Lookin’ nice Mister Taylor,” she nodded. “Mrs. Taylor is a real lucky lady~” She winked, then giggled at a private joke.

"So, what shall the three of us do now?" she asked them. "I'm up... down?... for whatever ya'll want to do."

... it was, she was down for it... right? Not up for it?

Monty had made his rounds outside of his home, shaking hands and kissing cheeks, delaying his entrance into the house's front. Gloria was supposed to report back to him when the Townsends finally arrived, and hearing nothing from her made him think he'd dodged a bullet.

Entering the foyer, he spotted a shapely woman who was putting on quite a show, with a gaggle of ogling men doing their best to establish themselves as her sole dancing partner. He took a moment to appreciate both her and the happiness she was spreading among the hopefuls. Then she did a little spin and he realized it was the naked woman from the Townsend swimming hole. He tried to remember the name; he was sure he'd been told.

Then, another thought hit him suddenly; if this Townsend sister was here -- and he was assuming she was one of the sisters -- then that probably meant Emmy was here. He took a moment to scan the crowd, but didn't see the youngest of the Townsends, nor the other sister, Jack.

He was considering turning around and looking for Gloria, or even the Taylor boy, but before he could, he got swallowed up by a group of City associates and couldn't get away.

They spent several minutes chatting, and suddenly he was looking into Emily Townsend's cute face. The young woman crossed the foyer-turned-dance floor slowly; Monty wasn't sure whether she was nervous, hesitant, or simply giving him a long look at her slow, hip-swinging saunter.

Monty was amazed. His request that she gained a beautiful dress turned out better than he could ever have imagined. The little black gown looked like it belonged on a Burlesque dancer; it was tight, with stretchy fabric about her waist, and layers of semi-sheer lace that cascaded down her hips to his mid-thighs. It was short enough that as she walked, Monty could just see the lacy tops of fashion stockings; in his mind's eye, he could imagine her standing in his bedroom, without the dress, a garter belt retaining the sexy stockings.

Then he remembered why he'd been trying to avoid her tonight and raised his gaze back up to her face, trying in vain not to imagine her naked and atop him.

"Mr. Montgomery," she greeted him, practically curtsying. He smiled at the quaintness and wondered whether she'd done it because she thought it appropriate or because she was just so damn cute that she knew he'd get a kick out of it. She glanced around to his conversation partners, saying, "Good evening."

Some of those with him turned their attention back to Monty; they were mostly men with pending business deals, desperate for Monty's attention. But the majority of the small crowd continued eying the beautiful young woman, some with hungry expressions, even some of the women.

And while Monty feigned interest in the conversations taking place, his own attention was on the girl, too.

And Emily knew it. Ignoring the man currently rambling on, she said, "This is an amazing party, Mr. Montgomery. It's better than anything I could have imagined."

The people around his went silent; they knew it was their host's turn to talk. Monty took a moment. He liked controlling the situation in this way. Finally, smiling, he responded, "Thank you, Miss Townsend." He looked around the crowd and did his duty, explaining, "Please, everyone, allow me introduce Emily Townsend."

As Monty pointed out and named the others, those near her shook Emily's hand and the others offered smiles and nods. Monty continued, "Emily and her family live on a neighboring estate."

He used the word estate to give the Townsend Farm the air of respectability that he felt it deserved; his friends didn't know how much work the three girls and their father put into maintaining their home; if any of them were to see the old decrepit house, their impressions would be only based on that first look.

"I'm talking to her father about possibly investing in his farm," he lied. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Emily's head spin his direction, but he continues looking at one of the men closest to him. "Harvey, you've been looking for investment in new areas."

The Harvey-character laughed and began ranting on about money and investments and more, but -- again -- Monty's attention shifted back to Emily. He smiled to her, wondering what was going through her head right about now.

What are you doing, Monty, he questioned himself. You're supposed to be avoiding this girl. But, he couldn't help himself. He knew that he and she weren't going to happen ... not now, anyway. But, after spending the time with her earlier in the day, after pushing the others to prepare her for the party -- something they'd done with expert results -- he felt that he at least had to explain himself to her.

And, of course, just because nothing was going to happen tonight, that didn't mean that something couldn't happen in the future. The very near future, he told himself.

He allowed the man beside him to ramble on for a long moment, then stepped over to Emily, saying, "In fact, I need to talk to your father ... about property lines--" He took her by the elbow and turned her away from the others, saying just loud enough for her to hear over the music, "Get me out of here."

"I'm talking to her father about possibly investing in his farm," Monty said. Emily whipped her head in his direction, her eyebrows creasing at this statement. She'd never heard anything about this before ... surely Daddy would have told them if he was thinking about getting investors.

"Hmm, Daddy must've forgot to mention that," she smiled, not wanting his guests to know that she had no clue what any of them were speaking of. As they talked she listened, smiling and nodding, adding an occasional "Hmm, I see."

She kept eyeing Monty from the corner of her eye, admiring how handsome he was. She got those butterflies in her tummy again, and she tried to push them away. She was lost in thought for a moment thinking about Monty, and Tommy, and how she could feel this way so suddenly. Maybe she was just naive and stupid like everyone thought. She'd show them soon enough. In just a few weeks Emmy wouldn't have to listen to anything anybody told her. She could do whatever she wanted, with whoever she wanted.

"In fact, I need to talk to your father ... about property lines--" He took her by the elbow and turned her away from the others, saying just loud enough for her to hear over the music, "Get me out of here."

Emily's eyes grew wide, and she tried to stifle a giggle. "Oh yes, I think I saw him over by the bar," she said, her voice getting a little high pitched at the end, making her statement sound more like a question. "I'll show you. It was nice meeting all of you," she smiled and turned away from them, linking her arm through Monty's.

As soon as their backs were turned and they were out of ear shot, Emily burst into laughter; Monty couldn't help but join her. "Those are the people you have to talk with all day? I feel so bad for you," she laughed hysterically, leading Monty nowhere in particular.

They walked for a few moments, just laughing and smiling at one another, enjoying each other's company. Then Emily heard a song she loved.

"Oh I absolutely love this song!" she exclaimed, her body already beginning to move to the music. "Let's dance! C'mon, when's the last time you let loose Mr. Montgomery," she said, a bit too much flirtation in her voice than she meant, as she pulled on his tie. She saw the hesitation in his eyes, but she prayed he'd ignore it. She just wanted to dance anyways, and Jack said they couldn't have any time alone together. There were tons of people on the dance floor. No harm in that right?

"Oh I absolutely love this song!" Emily exclaimed, already beginning to feel the beat. She looked to Monty, suggesting excitedly, "Let's dance! C'mon, when's the last time you let loose Mr. Montgomery?"

As gently as he could, he took her elbow and tried to stifle her movements, quickly saying, "Not now, Emily. I ... I need to talk to you first--" He leaned in a bit closer, adding, "In private, if you don't mind."

Monty could feel his heart pounding. It wasn't due to the beat of the loud, urban-dance music; and it wasn't even because of the beautiful young woman who so anxiously wanted to writhe to it on the dance floor with him. Monty could feel the eyes on him, from his people and hers alike. They would all have their own dirty little thoughts bouncing against the insides of their hard little skulls, and Monty needed desperately to kill any of those thoughts that might soon become words, passed from one gossip to another.

He looked past her, to the main hall that ran the full length of the huge home. "Fourth door on the left. Go there. The code for the electronic lock is 3-2-1. I'll meet you in a moment, and we can talk." He leaned in again, adding, "Please, Emily ... do this for me, and then, if there's time later, we'll have a dance, okay?"

Someone patted him on the back, and he used the opportunity to turn away from Emmy, grasping a strong hand in a shake and laughing with yet another pair of City Folk. He kept his back to her, hoping she wouldn't push the dance idea any further; he desperately hoped she would simply head down the hall as he said, and meet her in the library.

The problem, of course, was that the library wasn't the fourth door. He hadn't been to the estate in almost five years, and he'd forgotten than in the modifications to the library, they'd moved a closet access and now he fourth door down the hall ... was his bedroom ... which shared the same lock code as most of the secured doors in the home.

"The Farmer's Daughters: Take Two"​

I thought I would occasionally update this page, just so those of us playing multiple characters will find it easier to remember whether we have posted for all characters. I am going to list all characters, who they are currently with, and which character posted last. (Of course, the latter does not necessarily mean that that character can't post again; it just means that it's likely that the other character is "up".)

Current Situation:

Time: 10pm

Location(s): Currently, all main characters are at the Montgomery Estate House Warming.

Monty and Emily: In the foyer ("dance hall"). Monty is trying to get Emily, dressed in a sexy, black dress, to go to the library so they can talk out of sight of the other guests. Monty posted most recently.

Pete and Evangeline: On the back patio. Pete is dressed casually (as pictured, with a sports jacket); Evangeline is wearing a sexy black dress. Evangeline posted most recently.

Blair: In the foyer, dancing with a gaggle of interested men.

Jack and Mister Tim Taylor: In the foyer. Jack posted most recently.

Tommy Taylor: In the foyer, searching for Emmy, who he was supposed to keep away from Monty.

Gloria, the Real Estate Agent: Wandering the party, managing it.

Pete, with Evangeline on the back patio of the Montgomery Estate:



"I was afraid you’d find some last minute excuse and not come at all,” Evangeline playfully accused, giving Pete a kiss on his cheek.

As she moved close to him, Pete laid a hand lightly upon her hip, then quickly pulled it off. Too much, Petey-boy. Not so fast.

"You look handsome," she continued. "I must say though, I’m beginning to miss the man I met earlier.” She winked. "Your girls are already inside. Emmy and Blair are defiantly causing up a storm."

Evangeline took him by the hand and led him into the home. The music was overwhelming, as was the temperature. Before they'd even emerged from the hall to the foyer, Pete had already shed his jacket and was wanting to do the same with his sweater; he would have done so, if not for the mustard stain just below the left collar that his sweater was hiding.

"Don’t look so scared," she said, glancing back to him. "I made sure that the locals got invited. It should be fun to see those city slicks get a beating."

As soon as he recognized the first of the locals Evangeline was talking about, a chill ran up his spine. These people, nearly to the last of them, knew him well ... and had known his wife even better. And here he was, walking into a fancy party, being led hand in hand by a beautiful, sexy young City Girl whom everyone would know, or assume, he'd just recently met.

Secrets weren't something that were kept in Brickerwood; secrets were something that were passed around like gramma's Christmas fruit cake. No, no; secrets in this town were more like the flu; they got passed around like a contagion, until everyone knew -- or had -- them.

He slowed, causing Evangeline to turn and look at him. "Well, if you want, you can always go back. I won’t say a word to anyone."

Pete made eye contact with her, and melted. She wasn't just beautiful and sexy; she was adorable and darling. She's the same ages as your daughters, you dirty old fart, he told himself. But, he didn't care. There was nothing wrong with having an interest in -- a lust for -- a younger woman. He glanced around the crowd again -- and found, in quick succession, Emily and Blair dancing in the middle of the foyer, surrounded by adult men; and Jackie, standing off to the side talking with ... Tim Taylor...? speaking of dirty old men!.

He was torn between the fatherly instinct of wanting to step between the dog pack hunting his daughters and the manly instinct to continue his own hunt of Evangeline. He looked back to the beautiful blond and smiled nervously.

"Besides," she continued, "I thought your little… speech, was rather endearing. Been a while since anyone was being honest around me.

He opened his mouth to speak, but hesitated. Too fucking fast, Petey. Slow ... down...

And then he wondered whether Evangeline had sensed what he was going to say when she reminded him, "Besides, I told you before, it’s not like I’m gonna say no anyway."

He didn't hesitate, asking, "Do you want to get out of here? We could go to O'Malleys." He laughed as he again glanced about the foyer and the dancing throng. "Of course, we may have to tap a keg ourselves ... dish up our own peanuts, 'cause I think everyone in town is here!"


(OOC -- If she says yes, you can take us right to her car -- he walked, of course -- and write them heading for Brickerwood, just a couple of miles away. If anything else, go for it.)

Tommy had finally found Emmy ... standing with Mister Montgomery and a small group of mostly men in a corner near the home's front entrance. His stomach turned over nervously. He'd failed to keep her away from the party's host. But more important than that, he'd probably lost his last opportunity to spent some quality time with Emmy before the school year started up in a month. Brickerwood was deep into the harvest season, and between her schedule on the farm and his in the hardware store, he'd never get another opportunity like this again.

He shoved a hand into his pocket, feeling the hundred dollar bill and feeling the car keys press up against his hip. Money and fast cars... For a moment there, Tommy Taylor had had it all, money, a fast car, and a beautiful woman.

As he watched, Monty took Emmy by the arm and led her away. Tommy didn't understand. He'd been told Mister Montgomery didn't want to have anything to do with the youngest Townsend girl tonight, and yet here he was moving with her through a self-generating opening in the crowd, as if Moses leading his people through the Red Sea.

Tommy shook his head in dismay -- just as he was jostled from behind, nearly knocked to his feet. He turned quickly to find a beautiful young woman turning as well, a shocked expression on her face.

Without hesitation, she surged forth, grabbing Tommy by the hands and apologizing, "I'm so sorry, really. Oh my god, I'm clumsy when I drink." She laughed loudly, pulling him closer with both hands. "Actually, I'm not drunk. I just tell the old guys that, so they think they can take advantage of me."

Without so much as a by your leave, she intertwined her fingers in his, moved closer, and began dancing with him ... to him, actually, since Tommy -- stunned by the woman's beauty and forwardness -- was basically standing there, nearly motionless, ogling her.

Emmy! his mind screamed out. Tommy looked off toward the entrance; there was no sign of either his school friend -- his school crush -- or Mister Montgomery. When his dance partner pressed her body up against him in a little wiggle that pressed against his groin, his attention went back to her immediately.

She threw her arms around Tommy's neck and pressed herself firmly against him, shifting her hips to and fro to the music. "Are you from here?"

"Brickerwood...?" he asked, realizing that this close to her he didn't need to yell. He did, however, need to pull his hips back again; as had happened with Emily, Little Tommy-Tom-Tom was making its presence known again. He jerked a finger, not necessarily in any particular direction. "Yes, I am. I live about three--"

"You got a girl friend?"

The question, asked so bluntly, took him by surprise. He had a crush -- a major one, of course -- but he didn't have a girl friend, per se. He answered her with a simple, "No."

"You like girls?"

This one really stunned him, and he pulled his face back far enough to look her in the eyes; she was smiling knowingly, but he wasn't sure whether it was because she knew she'd surprised him, or because she thought that maybe his answer might be differently than she was hoping. "Of course!"

"Good!" she said with a wide smile, pulling their bodies tighter together again. She didn't hesitate, heading right into her next question. "You a virgin?"

"Oh-m-god!" Tommy laughed, again pulling back to see her clearly. "Really? Did you really just ask me that?"

But this time, her expression was more serious. "Answer carefully, Tommy Taylor from Brickerwood. Or this might be the best dance you never had."

He was just standing there, still and quiet, as the girl continued to dance slowly, seductively to the music. Tommy looked around to see who was within eavesdropping range, before looking back to her. Sure, he was a virgin; but that didn't mean he was all that keen on admitting it to this girl ... this woman ... who was ... was what...? He realized, with a sudden duh-h-h exploding in his head, exactly what she was doing, exactly why she was asking this question.

"Yes ... I am," he said softly.

As she smiled broadly, she moved back to him, pressing against him, grasping one of his ass cheeks in a tight grip and asking in a sultry voice, "Wanna fix that?"

Tommy's head was spinning! Was this beautiful woman from the city, whom he'd known all of thirty seconds, asking him if he wanted to lose his virginity to her...? Oh, there was no doubt about it. Tommy Taylor, you're gonna get laid ... by a babe ... from The City ... TONIGHT!

"Yes," he answered, his voice almost cracking on the one short word. "I'd like to fix--"

"You gotta a car?" she asked, grasping his hand, turning him, and heading for the foyer's rear entrance, pulling him behind her.

They were almost to the door when another thought -- of another girl -- struck him. He looked back, first to the main entrance where he'd last seen Emmy Townsend, then toward the hall ways leading to the other portions of the huge party. She was no where to be seen, which -- of course -- was a good thing.

But ... Blair Townsend was, still shimmying around the dance floor, surrounded by men ... and giving Tommy a thumbs up!

As the party fell behind them and they headed down the hallway for the rear exit and, beyond it, the parking lot where Tommy would have to try to figure out what the hell the keys went to, he was conflicted on what was about to happen to him. He'd always fantasized that he and Emmy would learn about love together, nude bodies against one another under the heavy quilt his grandmother had made for him when he was little. But Emmy was with Mister Montgomery -- although Tommy just couldn't believe, god forbid, that the two of them would ... Oh, he couldn't even imagine it...


"What's your name?"

"Tommy," he answered, clearing his throat to add, "Taylor. Tommy Taylor."
