You just gotta love Nicholas Cage...he is amazing...no matter what roll he plays.

Have you ever wondered where you might be in life if you had just made thatONE different choice?

I enjoyed that movie, too, Cath. I'm a Nicholas Cage fan - I love watching his expressions and when the camera gives you full range of those eyes.....Oh My Gosh!

It's funny, but I was just speaking with someone about this very subject yesterday. We were talking about how we would change our lives if we could. My friend said that life would not have changed - I said I would have changed a few things...but if I changed those few things, then I wouldn't have my son. It was amazing to realize that had I not chosen this path...there would be no handsome, loving, athletic son whom I love dearly.

If I could have my son and still change things....YES, I would have changed several things. Maybe then, life would be much more fun and loving. But, on the other hand, you never know what would have happened had you taken the left turn instead of the right one.

In all honesty I watched that movie and thought it was stupid. I think the life he had before the whole change was better then the life he was missing. Yes, I want to have a family some day, but I would rather be a millionare and be successful. As a business major that is what I strive for. WHat really pissed me off in that movie was when he tried to move to the city and his wife said "no". I would hope that my wife would want me to be successful in life. Let me seize and oppurtunity when it comes to me. Because when you are involved in a relationship that is the way it should work.

Well so far for the most part, I know I've made the right choices.
I think things work out the way they do for a reason. Reminds me of a Tim Hutton movie. He fell in love with a girl in heaven. Then they were both sent back to earth. He had 30 years to find her again, without really having any memory of what went before. As the movie goes on, it shows several times where there paths could have crossed. Even though they missed those chances, things finally do work out. :)

I think

If I had made the right choice...

I would, hopefully, be in this list somewhere....

The long and short of it!

Don't know what they would say....but hey it's better to be spoken badly of than not mentioned at all.:D

I should have packed my bags and run away to California at 18...

So would the same apply if your wife was the one with the great promotion? Would you be willing to pack up your life for her career?

The movie was okay...liked the concept, but at the end, when he taks about the children they would have had as though they'd had them, I wonder how the writer's felt she should talk to him instead of running on the plane scared. Too forced for the sake of romance.

I have always lived by the rule of never regret anything.

Although, I have made some decisions in the past couple of years that really changed life. It would beinteresting to see how things would have turned out had I not made the one major decision, but then again maybe life turns out just a little different in a few years and it is all for the better.

Decent movie though.

Movie was ok...I like Nicholas Cage :D Didn't like the woman who played his wife though...they could have gotten someone better.

And Lazarus1280...if you watched the movie you'd know that she did think it over and decided that if he wanted to move there then she would too...you apparently got stuck on the first time she said she didn't want that and couldn't move on...typical of a "man".

I personally should have married the rich, old guy who wanted me. LMAO :D  :p
