Had a short dream about a guy who goes to his sister’s room and tells her that the cat is her responsibility sister tells him off so dude goes to check on the cat and it’s a grown ass woman who has cat ears and a tail who says “Hi!” And then smacks a glass of water off a table.
Figured I could make an idea about it. Yeah, the worldbuilding would make it a bit awkward but I think at least a one shot could be made out of it.
For example: in the near future artificially created beings (ACBs) are all the rage. To distinguish them from humans, they get animalistic features. There’s laws governing them and their treatment but things are still sketchy as fuck. One of the big taboos is having sex with them. There’s of course rich collectors and porn studios that skirt or enjoy breaking that taboo and get ACBs with sex drives but the consumer models aren’t interested in sex and are even programmed to report their owners if they cross the line.
Anyway: family got a catgirl for their daughter when she was little, she adored her but got bored with her so now her full grown catgirl just mopes around trying to get attention. Now she’s intelligent but she’s also supposed to be constantly socializing and helping around the house. In the end Brother and/or dad wind up having to spend all their spare time with her so she doesn’t get lonely. They try to make the most of it but one day they get bored and one of them start watching porn…only for the catgirl to take an interest and start jerking them off. Dad or bro of course freak out but catgirl sees nothing wrong with it and admits she’s turned on too. Somehow family got an ACB with a sex drive.
Or:far future, parents are doing anthropological work on a newly discovered planet and drag adult kids along so they can get college credit. There kids are surprised to find out there’s a race of humanoid feline like creatures there.
Parents assure them the race isn’t dangerous and is barely intelligent. A catgirl winds up hanging around their camp and family adopts her, seeing her as a pet.
Only thing is: the cat people are actually very intelligent. Humanity effectively found a nudist resort that the FTL capable species has been using for centuries. Catgirl then set about taking advantage of how the family underestimates her to seduce her.
Or: Mad scientist grandpa loves making abominations for his family whether they want them or not. Catgirl is one such creation. Family tries to be nice but they’re really tired of grandpa’s unwanted gifts.
