I was just telling a sub about things that "real" doms all have and that one of them is the eyebrow of true domliness! She says that she believes me but for kicks we should list off the things that all "true" doms have that allow people to know we are the real ones!

Oh yes Domly silence, I hate it. Especially on the phone when I say something he (pretends he) doesn't find funny.
Then the silence drags out so far I have to try to dig my way out of whichever hole I have landed in.
*disclaimer I know its pretend, sometimes he laughs later, then again sometimes he reminds me with a crop at a later date

Other Domly traits:
Domly tone of voice: soft, firm, quiet and deceptive.
More effective than any other tone when asked to do something or being told what is going to happen next.

My favorite Domly trait: the ability to apologize when he's really screwed up. B. has really, really upset me a time or two (accidentally), and he was quick to apologize. I've got to admit, it's pretty nice having the begging and grovelling reversed occasionally.

Is it to be believed? Have all you forgotten the all important 'domy' ability to make even the simplest of household tasks into arousing (albeit occasionally painful) fun?

On a more serious note, I feel that true 'domliness' is as subjective as beauty, or quantum physics. What flips switches in most almost immediatly can leave a few of our subs cold and wondering.
