I got to watch the fire works from the couch in the Florida room again this year.
No rain, bugs or traffic. All nice & dry in my jammies. much more relaxing then out there with the public.

same here, easier to watch them from home then go out into the mess........
We've had so much rain here you'd think we live in Washington state.
The skeeters have been a real pain.

At least this one was 40 minutes away from me & inland some.
I need to pull out more of those damn plants the guys planted here 20 years ago.
They hold water & breed skeeters. Pain in the butt even more then the potato vine they planted.

rain.......hmmmmmmmmmm....well the corn needs it.......
we had a couple nasty storms roll through here last night.
The house was shaking from the thunder & lightning strikes
but the cooler temps from the rain made it for an easier night sleeping here.
It's been 100 & over inside the house this summer making it hard to do anything.
