a few of the people who do wood working got the wood to make art with. There were also 4 sprouts so someone grabbed those & planted so there will be replacement trees. I grabbed a few palm pods from the trees down here by the house to use in my work.

It's hot enough here I feel like I am living in one of those hot boxes they used on POWs.
I really wish the guys would put a vent in to let the heat out of the attic space here.

How about making a hole on a outside wall and installing a A.C. unit. :rolleyes:

It's not been hot here yet.....:D July may be a different story though....:eek:
 
Been a week of feels like 90 - 100ish with the humidity.
Had another water spout at noon today. It came in over
at the bridges into Tampa. Stayed for 8 minutes freaking everyone out
Then it sucked itself up & went away.

So Mr. Bear, I have this wandering skunk that has been hanging out around my lawn for the last 2 weeks, how do I get it to leave.....permanently?
 
D-con mouse poisoning pellets mixed with peanut butter eliminates skunks, who knew?

Before killing off the skunk I called the State D.E.C. office to see if they would come out to trap and haul off the skunk and the person on the other end told me they do not do that but if I paid the State D.E.C. I could buy a wildlife handlers permit that is good for 1 year and trap any wildlife and then drive off onto public property to release it onto someone elses property with their permission but not onto State land like the Adirondack mountains.

The permit is $200.00 now I would also need a Federal permit if I was to cross a State line and possibly a permit from the other State like Vermont.

Poisoning the rodent was the cheapest way to eliminate the problem.
