The Etoile Thread

I wanted to do something special for my 10,000th post here. I thought about posting "I'm pregnant!" but, well, I'm not, and that's better for April Fool anyway. (Except now I've outed myself as using that as a potential prank.)

But I figured instead, I would start a thread of my own. Lots of people have their own threads, but I never have. I've been here a damn long time and I never started a thread of my own. I mean, I've started threads, but no ME threads...unless you count the year I started my own birthday thread. (Or the "role of mods" thread in GLBT.)

Anyway! This is the Etoile thread. I have no idea what's going to go in it. If you want to ask me stuff, get my attention, tell me about something, etc. that's great. It would be nice if off-topic fraternizing with people other than myself were kept to a minimum, but I know that's a lot to ask. I just think it would be nice to include me in the fraternizing, since it's my own thread, and all.

So yeah, I kinda always wanted my own thread, and now I have one. Let's see where it goes.

Yay, somebody replied!

School is good so far. I am a little nervous because I will be out of town from this Tuesday until the 23rd. I am missing a bunch of classes as a result, and although everything is arranged with my teachers, I still worry about falling behind. (Don't tell my teachers, I've sworn to them that I can keep up!) I think in reality I will be okay, I am a MUCH more conscientious student than I was the first time around, but I do worry about this unknown factor of "going on a trip during school" because I've never done that before.

A little bit, thank you! I can now move around without a problem. I have not tried peeing yet, that is going to be a fun time when I finally have to. And I'm up way too late but my usual tactic of getting to sleep - ahem - is out of the question at the moment! (I tried. Ow.)

It is our 10th anniversary and we are taking a cruise around the Caribbean! We are starting off with Tuesday thru Saturday in San Juan. Then we board the boat and go to St. Maarten, Dominica, Grenada, and Aruba. We are going to be part of a somewhat large group of gay people, I think there are maybe about 30-40 of us? We don't know any of them yet but we will all be sitting together so we'll make friends I'm sure!

In case you are wondering, I have never done that particular thing, but sometimes I forget I have allergies and have similar reactions to soap, lubes, spermicide, bubble bath.... I keep straight aloe vera and A&D ointment around for that very reason.

Okay, here is the update on my coochie. I know you're all dying to know.

This morning it actually felt fine! When I went to pee I was expecting pain but it was fine. My vulva is kind of numb to the touch, or else it just feels so weird to touch that I don't know how to describe it. Anyway, it's better than yesterday, at least!
