During the day there was little else to do on the boat but lounge around the pool and that suited Bill just fine. He'd end up spending more than his fair share of time in the casino in the evenings and he wasn't much for the group activities that the crew organized. They seemed better suited for the much older crowd and the kids. After breakfast he and Cara went down to their room to relax a little then an hour or so later, changed into their suits and headed up to the pool.
Looking around for lounges Bill spotted the guy from breakfast with a couple lounges next to him so he wandered over.
"Excuse me, these free?" he asked causing the man to open his eyes and look up at the couple.
Mark had booked the cruise with his then girlfriend intending to propose to her at some point on it. Those plans fell through though when she abruptly ended the relationship, offering no real explanation why. He'd thought of just not going and losing the investment but instead decided that getting away for a few weeks might do him some good. It was around the second day when he realized just how boring one of these cruises could be when you were on your own. "No, feel free. I'm Mark."
"Bill and Cara." Bill replied as he tossed a towel down on the far lounge intentionally landing Cara in between the two.
