Fluttershy - age 19

Fluttershy wakes up with a start, her small wings shifting on her back as she panted, looking around with fear in her blue eyes, but she calms down. She had woken from a nightmare she was having, one about Night Mare Moon and Queen Chrysalis. She didn't remember what it was about, but she knew it was terrifying, the dream having been the same one she had the past few nights. She had thought of going to tell Twilight about it, but she didn't want to disturb her. Fluttershy got up, stretching, and she grabbed her favorite yellow dress with her Cutie Mark on it and slipped it on, straightening her pink hair before going downstairs in her cottage and smiling at the small animals that greeted her. Being able to speak with animals, she cared for them and took care of them, her cottage becoming a sort of daycare for them. She smiled at Angel the bunny as he tapped his foot, pointing to a picture of an ice cream he wanted, like he did every day.
"All right, Angel bunny. I'll get you your sundae." Fluttershy said in her soft voice, and she grabbed her picnic basket and walked out of her cottage, heading into town. She lived on the outskirts of Ponyville, alone save for her animals. As she walked through town she saw Applejack selling apples, the country-talking farm girl tipping her hat to Fluttershy. She also saw Pinkie Pie outside Sugar Cube Corner, blowing party balloons and dancing like the hyper goofball she was, making Fluttershy giggle. She also saw Rarity in Carousel Boutique, making dresses, the fashionista's hair styled like always, and Rainbow Dash, the fast flying tomboy waving at Fluttershy as she sped by, trying to make a Sonic Rainboom like she had been for the past few days.
Fluttershy stopped in the market of Ponyville and started getting the stuff she needed for Angel's ice cream, giving the shop keepers the appropriate amount of bits. She looked at the picture and saw she needed a cherry, so she headed to the cherry vendor, but saw he only had one left. She only had three bits left, and the cherry was five, so she started trying to get him to lower the price, haggling with him. But, like always, she only succeeded in raising the price, and she was backing away slowly, hiding behind her hair soon, and she bumped right into someone, not realizing she had run into Twilight, her braniac friend who studied magic alot and had become the Princess of Friendship only a few months ago.
