Unemployment is not a huge amount of money. And I don't know of any tax scenario that leaves you $500 out of $10,000.

What I meant by the example was when you see more of your money going in taxes than you bring home.

When over 50% of the people get some sort of governement check then someone has to pay for it.

John and Teresa Kerry won't be paying...Mrs. Kerry only paid 5% income tax on 26 million in 2004 but that was not as big a news as Kerry shouting Bush was all for Tax Cuts for the rich.

When you can clear more income sitting at home than you bring home working we will all be in trouble.

He was right. Mr. Obama and Washington has taken us to a piont our debt is over 100% GNP. How do you think Washington will pay that debt? They will pay with TAX money....and if you pay taxes it will be yours too.

If you don't earn an income and live off the government it will affect you because the cost of living will rise faster then you increases.
