The King's daughter chose not to marry and wed a knight. Her views were often time different from her father's. This is her story. The story of a Princess falling for a knight, that was not such, only a peasant.
This story has no ending as of yet and all character except the princess are free. A king, a peasant (Thought to be a knight), and so on and so forth.
IC:King Alexander watched as his daughter and her chamber maid made their way out of the atrium. She was off to think of ways to deny her heritage as she had done so many times before.
In all reality she was going up to her tower where she often wished apon the stars that a man would come and wisk her away from the life of a noble. Jousting was boring to her. Balls of grand design seemed only to be a way for her father to introduce her to men of Noble birth to wed her.
Yet, a man of noble birth was not her hearts desire. She wanted to marry and live a quiet life. One where she was not asked to dance with all the young men at a ball. A life where she could walk the grounds without hearing a name of this noble or that.
This night, things would change. She thought to herself. "My love will come, whisking me away from here, will he not, nurse?" There was no answer, only silence as the nurse was mute. But she knew in her heart, that one day such a thing would happen.
