The Dragon's Cure

Adette's eyes widened in shock, then she sheepishly shrugged. "There's not a whole lot of your kind left to kill you." She said softly. "Plus- there's nothing special about my blood. Human women all have the same red blood cells even if they've never had sex. There's nothing 'magical' about-"

She paused. Adette belived in science, not magic. But that was before she met an actual dragon. He could shift his form, from human to beast, and his blood cells had an armor that kept her from curing them. So maybe there was a 'science' to her virginal blood after all. Maybe even magic.

"Okay. If you say my blood does something for you kind, I believe you. Once we get my equipment, I'll do some tests. See how my blood reacts to yours. And- and I won't tempt you again. If we can't be together like that, its best we keep our hands off each other. To make things easier. On both of us."
