The Dragon Tamer's Challenge for 11/26/2003

It has been said that my challenges are too easy. I will try to get more challenging ones for you, I have a couple that I would like to use , but we will try this one first:

Although I exist alone, I am often intertwined with others as the threads of a spider web. When worn there's an expression that signifies you shall not leave me. A man with a name meaning knowledgeable one once said that I am part of a set of four and that I have less than ten folds.

I hope that you find this a bit more difficult to solve, but I have a more difficult one to follow. Good luck in your quest.

I will try to do some research on some poems, but often the meaning of them is clear, there is one author though that is difficult, I will have to try and find it in my library. Besides I like to challenge your mind and make you think in different ways, abstract ways. LOL

Don't look for a association to a number, but to the spiderweb. The word is connected to another word.

In solving riddles, first look for the obivous, a word or a sentence. Then think of something that goes with it.
