The japanese guy seemed embarassed but in an amused sort of way.
Not that I like Trump as a person -far from it- but they both looked endearing and funny.
 
I haven't paid attention to Canadian politics. To the rest of the world -might or might not be true- they managed to project this image of being peace loving and more vanilla.

But as to more superficial issues -your initial post: Justin is too effeminate and bland. I don't get the mass appeal.

You misinterpretted my comment as a disparaging remark when it wasn't intended as such.
By the same token, I don't pay much attention to Australian or Swiss politics.

Most people pay attention to those politics that are likely to impact other countries - as US does, in it's role of one of the largest empires and interventionist in other countries' affairs.
