The diet of creation

Beer's off the table for me, unfortunately. Oat milk, tho? Really, tho? I mean, do you drink it straight... or ferment it? Or, you know, put something more edible into it?

👍
Yes - oat milk! What's so peculiar about that, hey? It's in the same aisle as almond milk, rice milk and (nasty) soya milk. Perfectly drinkable, although usually I have it with cereal..... it's not even bad in tea.

I guess she meant goat milk :) No bucket will ever fit under an oat...
Nope - I meant oat milk. No animals were involved in the making of it - unless you count humans, I guess. It's really not that weird .... is it? I'll crawl back into my dark corner now. It's fine.

You mean like oat groat milk? I've made that before.

Hehe he's just joshing, I'm sure. I have my almond milk. I'm sure oat milk is similar. Good for the lactose disinterested. :p

For me it's just some combination of caffeine, CBD, and a good night's sleep. Heavy food and alcohol are for enjoying the aftermath and tossing the focus needed for writing straight out the window. :)

A man after my own heart. I just wished I enjoyed eating the junk food. You know those protein bars, fruit balls - all those things that are supposedly full of natural sugars and healthy energy? They make me feel like crap. I wonder if it's possible for a brain to require refined sugar, rather than be poisoned by it?

Oh. Maybe I'm a mutant...

...one of the special ones...

...Sugar-Boy...

Those "healthy, natural" sugars are sugars just the same as a Twinkie, your body can't tell the difference. A sugar bomb is a sugar bomb. Reactive hypoglycemia is a possibility. There's also other additives they put in so called healthy foods (like certain fibers) that could be the culprit. I don't believe sugar is poison, but it's better to focus on real food and eat protein at every meal, while limiting sugars and carbohydrates.

Yes, I'm done :D

No. Plain water does just fine. I do occasionally have a diet soda. Root Beer.

I do have to have my music. :cattail:

More seriously, I usually kick off with a fruit and vegetable smoothie. All raw, no juice added, just water. Oranges, clementines with the skin on, raw beet, pineapple and kale and dandelions with a slice of raw peeled ginger. Great energy booster.
